got hit with a desperate need to design Frida 'The Charr Broiler' Banes in GW2 last night so have a little outfit concept of what this ghost lady might look like in her human 'disguise.' it isn't perfect-- hence the ghostly eyes-- but is generally enough to avoid getting bothered by patrols. as long as it keeps the charr from shooting on sight that's good enough for her.

her nickname is no coincidence; while a necromancer by trade, she's particularly known for her ability to combine summoned minions with searing fire magic to overwhelm and incinerate her foes. she always found a nice bit of irony in turning the Flame Legion's own weapon against them. now infused with the Foefire that it once shielded her from, her power has only grown through the centuries. once her cerulean flames latch onto a target, they never ever let go.

Frida's presence entirely slid under the radar until quite recently, though... not because it went unnoticed, but because none of the patrols that encountered her ever lived to tell the tale.

instead her residence became a place of dread, known only as a cursed ruin so deadly that none who ventured in ever returned.
