how 2 explain to white people that my identity is not centered around my sexuality first but rather by being a first generation bangladeshi muslim . that'll always come before im bisexual or trans or whatever the fuck because im like done pretending thats not at the core of my personhood for the sake of fitting in better w my white friends or peers

#tunatxt #like dont get me wrong my bisexuality / transness is a core of who i am but im not going to pretend like being muslim isnt a core #for others convenience or comfort.#im not ur excuse to make jokes abt islam and frankly wont be stomaching all that anymore #not abt anyone here just #thinking abt some stuff. and abt how im percieved in online communities ive been a part of #im sick of being the diversity hire or tokenized but also not having my identity as a poc be acknowledged in a sense at the same time #just thinking.
