YOU tapped into my Bryony braincell at a good time because I’ve been thinking NON stop about the effects of killing the archdemon recently

the whole thing is UNDER A CUT BECAUSE I GOT EXCITED!

-she sports wicked bruising on her entire body post battle of Denerim, because of the force of the Funky Old God Soul punching out after her killing blow to the archdemon. Not swelling bruises or anything, she just looks marbled and bloodshot for like a month after the fact. And her balance is off for about the same time

-ALSO her arm gets mangled in its teeth and she has cool puckered scarring on her forearm and bicep from it. The fantasy trope of killing the dragon by stabbing it in the mouth shdjsjfjdj

-SHE HAS a lot of sets of gold caps for her teeth. Her favourite go over her canines and make them a LITTLE sharper.

-she uses any pronouns, she’s just as comfortable with he/him and they/them, ESPECIALLY from humans. Her gender is “a dwarf who loves women”

-she gets more verbal tics the older she gets! Most common is repeating important words rapid-fire

-SHE FIRST KILLED A MAN AT AGE 9, which is also when she found out Rica had begun working for Beraht. she thought the lackey sent to check on Rica’s earnings was a thief and she uhhhh snuck up and knifed him in the ribs and neck. TO BE fair he was very handsy with Rica which is on sight for Bryony. And that’s how baby Bryony joined the ranks of the Carta to pay off her debt of killing one of its members :)

-she speaks qunlat AND tevene but can only write in common. Leliana teaches her some orlesian :’•D

-is remarkably resistant to fear-inducing magic! Is it a dwarf thing? A grey warden thing? She doesn’t know but she sure isn’t fazed

-only knows how to cook dry preserves and rations. Romantic

-sometimes paces in tight circles going left because it feels like the stone/the calling is tugging at her brain

-Big Boy was the first of a long long Long line of Mabari companions. She likes adopting the runts and “imperfect” ones

-HAS BEATEN STEN IN SPARRING ONCE, Alistair is usually a draw, and she and Zevran keep count every time they meet again. (Zev’s winning. for now)
