As someone who grew up outside of a real queer community while i was reading Scott Pilgrim the first time, I find the amount of Scollace interesting now that theyre showing up for Takes Off! Like I always thought that for sure they’ve had some one-offs but like Wallace always seemed too. Good? Like the ultimate point I draw from Scott Pilgrim is that sometimes fucked-up people can grow together and get better (or not, see Old Scott), and like. Man I don’t wanna put my boy Wallace in there. He deserves to be a normal guy who’s a background character, who marries someone from nintendo.
