Their dynamic is one of the most underrated things in soul eater im so obsessed with it… “two girls who used to run the streets in Brooklyn and were infamous muggers” + “guy who literally has a nervous breakdown at least once a day” and they’re siblings… “this is the most special guy ever and if you don’t clap and cheer for him we’ll fucking kill you” vs “these are my emotional support guns” do not separate them.
#soul eater#to the suprise of no one. I’m rereading the manga.#i hate how found family has been so watered down as a term that now it’s like#‘x character is the mom and that one’s the dad and these are the kids’ etc but They Are Siblings.#thinking about Liz in the eibon greed chapter talking abt dtk. crying.

Okay the fact liz originally mugged Kid using Patty in her weapon form (and the like “all this time in my weapon form makes my back ache like crazy”)
makes me think that Liz was human form most of the time on the streets and Patty was always the one in weapon form.
This could explain why Patty is so immature (relative to the other kids her age), because she was in weapon form the whole time.
