#thinking about crystal because i'm writing a lili-centric piece for the anniversary and it hit me like a truck the anniversary is this week

i close my eyes, and i perceive the visions that seep through to the forefront of my mind. i nod, and i post. what if crystal joined the aquato's circus when she's older.

this just came to me lol, but while i do like my headcanon that she works primarily at the camps training tender brains, that recent scott c art where she's doing the splits with clem piqued my interest. i think gymnastics remain an interest to her, even if she moves on from cheerleading. she does like to dance, and she's flexible, but i do think she loses some of that flexibility when she doesn't train. there are opportunities that are taken from her, and she only starts being out there again when she's in the intern program. being free to dance or exercise or do gymnastics according to how she wants, it's nice!

as the aquatos, i think donatella would see some serious potential in her. to me, crystal isn't a very powerful psychic. at least, in the offenseive department. she's *physically* strong, though. i think she'd still have an interest in performance arts, and little acrobatic flourish sounds fun! this is all very early and basic in my thoughts, but donatella would be pretty encouraging with her, probably meeting her during her tenure in the intern program, maybe swooping in like a hawk and plucking her back to her circus tent lol. new daughter!! (i'll come back to this with something more concrete when my brain isn't fried from writing four short oneshots in a single night)
