Just waiting for my bus for the first part of my journey home - was a bit of a trek but absolutely worth it!

Arsenal definitely dominated but seemed to be overthinking a bit to start with - although you could probably put some of the overpaying down to getting used to the players who haven't really played yet this season - Mitch, Lia, Mel, PPM, Viki to a certain extent. Plus LL had a lot of players behind the ball so they were trying to create spaces to score. Once Beth scored they seemed to settle down and play a lot better and 5 goals later they've won emphatically.

The LWs (Lia and Leah) were fantastic - so great to see Lia back playing and although she was maybe a little rusty you wouldn't really have known that it was her first game since January! She brings such a calming presence to the midfield as well I think. Really pleased to see her get a full 45 and Jordan get a full 90 - getting back on track!

Leah was brilliant, and I think I'd say probably the best player when she was on the pitch (although obv a lot of praise for Beth and her hattrick!). Leah was everywhere that she was needed and really marshalled the whole team. She was CB for the first half and then DM when Jen came on and Lia went off. I hope her injury isn't serious, she was limping off but hopefully it's just a strain or something. Luckily with a 4-0 cushion she should be able to be rested on Thursday night.

Wasn't overly impressed with PPM's distribution - was a bit aimless at times and she couldn't seem to make up her mind as to who to pass to a lot of the time. Def heard Beth shout something like 'pass it to Leah!' at one point... She made some great saves though - London Lionesses had a few chances but PPM was all over them.

Beth was great - obviously relishing the CF role with Viv on the bench, and scoring 3 cracking goals! It was really good that Viv could be rested for the full game as well.

Really pleased for Mitch - thought she was excellent today and then a goal to top it off! Do think she should be starting at left back more.

Great for Mel Filis to have a full match and Ruby to get some mins in the second half - I could hear Jordan kinda coaching Mel at times in the second half.

Hoping that Lisa not playing was just to give her a rest and that Louise and Leah are OK! Hopefully we'll know more by Thursday.

I took a few photos but no idea what they're like. If they're any good I'll post some tomorrow.
