two axls. one sketch, and one that i actually just kinda blocked in and used some colors i typically wouldn't to shade to get a bit more out of my comfort zone. image description under the cut

He is painted digitally on a warmer gray background using somewhat desaturated base colors, but vibrant and somewhat unconventional colors are used to shade them. Of note, his black armor and helmet are portrayed more as a deep purple, and highlit with a shade of magenta. The red stripes on his armor and helmet are shaded using a darker green. His skin is a light tan, but is shaded using a combination of a light green and a darker, desaturated blue. End image description.]
