FACTION SWAP AU - THIEVES' DEN!!

Once again shown in order from the first drawn to the latest drawn. this is why the biograft on subspace's design was made of oak instead of sakura or aspen trees !

i made a tiny mistake for hyperlaser- he isn't wearing a kyudo (as that is the martial art) but a kyudogi instead. should've researched a bit more before finishing the drawing ^^;

the woodgrafts were so interesting in my sketches but when coloured in they start looking like ice cream lol

today we’ll be talking bouts horns and they’re significance in beauty standards playing a role in the inpherno!!!!!!!!!!

let me preface this that demons are almost always concerned with the size of their horns, if you have them too short your seen as undesirable or cowardly but it’s not too bad and inphernals don’t point it out. Though, if you say that some demon has small horns as a INSULT then it’s SUPER offensive. Like DAMN

Thieves Temple: This faction seems to prefer nature-esque/earth tones in horn colors, they represent what most inphernals in the faction believe in. (Yk the significance of nature, balance, and “peace”) Its also because you can blend into the nature or shrubbery found around the faction, it’s said that if a demon blends into the scene behind them, they are considered to be as beautiful as the scene behind them. They also seem to prefer the contrary(not ALWAYS ofc); bright, floral colors also being admired (Take Vinestaff’s horns for example). Dying, piercing, or patterning of horns is strictly frowned upon by the older generation of Theives Temple, seeing it as “abandoning one’s true identity” or “making a fool of themselves, trying to pretend to be someone else”. Of course, the newer generation is more open to this but the idea still lingers. It’s not noticeable but, obviously, if an older demon is a boss of a shop they’ll prefer a demon with jade horns than someone with bright patterned pierced horns to take over. Concerning horn SHAPE they are pretty much good with anything, but simpler styles, shapes, and low amounts of jewelry are the most common to see. But size wise it doesn’t matter much just maybe file it down if it almost touches the ceiling, duh.

some phighting scenarios i’m too tired to write properly but want to see considered anyways

-hyper, med, and subspace growing up together in whatever environment parentless spawnlings grow up in in blackrock. mad and sub kinda bickered a lot with hyperlaser, being older, mediating. hyper’s face was injured in an accident that was entirely subspace’s fault and the fallout is what really soured their relationship. this changes nothing about the events in canon.

-thieves’ denizens pawning zucchini and other squashes off on anyone who will take it (and some people who won’t) during the harvest season. they planted them 12 years ago and have been living with the consequences ever since. when Katana moved out there they took advantage of his naïveté and tricked him into taking like 60 of the things. he is now very good at refusing gifts.

-rocket is really good at claw machines. like, really really fucking good at claw machines. he regularly clears the things out just because he can. the arcade owners hate him.

-Subspace, Scythe, Zuka, Rocket, Vine Staff and Hyperlaser traumatic injury/chronic pain support group. Medkit was invited and realized there *is* something he wants to do less than his job actually.

-subspace grows as a person a la the fic i didn’t finish, makes friends and what have you. he dies anyways. yknow from the poison. in a mildly awkward conversation, medkit is politely asked not to show up to the funeral (he wasnt planning on it) (this is how he found out subspace was even dead)

-Prompt: Boombox isn’t allowed to have the aux anymore. What was the incident?

-Any combination of characters in Pressure

-Any character on an episode of Very Important People

-What if they were all kids at the park. The factions are just different corners.

Something i noticed about the thieves den redesign

so uhh sodakettle js released the katana remodel and i noticed that they both have this like, rippling or wavy pattern effect, someone said shuri resembles more like a malachite tho so idk

My theory about the pattern is that it maybe based on the red and white plum blossom

But idk what do yall think?

Since Boggio loves Blackrock and Lost Temple so much they've decided to remove Playground and Thieves' Den entirely! :D/s

But honestly, they've been focusing so much on Blackrock and Lost Temple that they almost forgot about the other two factions, especially Thieves' Den

Thieves' Den haven't even been MENTIONED in a really long time

Boggio, please give some love to our Thieves' Den characters, they NEED it
