Eeeee thank you zelmo X) I actually rlly love this au haha.
Basically, zeldas a pirate captain and Links an ex soilder who ends up becoming a prisinor on her ship. A mutany later, and the two have to work together (hehehe enemies to lovers les go) to get what they both want >:) ( im terrible at explaining, it was gonna be epic I swear hahs) a Lil snippet
Tetra stalked along the line of prisoners once more, taking careful note of injuries, toned muscles, and all other factors that could affect her price. She nodded in contentment, pleased with the small crew who were still quivering in her shadow.
These pathetic creatures, she thought to herself, watching them with a grin on her face. None would even be worthy of the title Pirate.
She considered offering them a chance to join her crew as was her custom, but she was an intelligent captain who didn’t let just anybody waltz on board her ship. Tetra swept one last glance over them, searching for even an ounce of courage in their eyes.
She let out a ‘tch’ in disappointment when not even one dared to meet her eyes. One hand raised, ready to send them all to the brig with a careless wave- but she stopped, hand frozen. Tetra ceased her pacing, her shadow falling over a downcast head of unruly blond hair.
“Now what do we have here,” she murmured, reaching down a hand to clasp the prisoner’s jaw, forcing him to turn his eyes up at her.
He squinted against the bright sun now in his eyes, the light glinting in them as if they were the ocean itself. Tetra turned his face curiously. It wasn’t burned like that of a sailor but held scars of a sword. She could see the grin he fought back, his boyish charm quite unlike any sailor or pirate the captain had ever layed eyes on.
“What is a Hylian doing so far from home?” she asked in a hushed tone, leaning closer, their faces inches apart.
He bore the ears of a Hylian, far longer than that of any human. It was rare to see one so far from Hyrule, especially when the seas were so dangerous. Hyrule had all but isolated itself, deeming those unable to wield magic or concoct powerful remedies unfit to live within their walls. It was a paradise compared to the crime-ridden world that lay about it, so those fortunate enough never dared leave the protection of their knights and magic.
The man grinned up at her, not even intimidated by his armed captor, “I could ask you the same thing, Captain.”
