Today's lesson: What's this?

So I helped teach the kids "what's this?". one of my students turns to his friend, points at his face and says "what's this?" and starts laughing.

They way they care about each other amazes me. They don’t always get along but they always seem to be there for one another, no matter the situation. The one little boy fell outside & all the kids were so concerned about him. When he fell, he scrapped his elbow. They constantly kept asking “Are you okay?” “Should we get him a cold cloth?” “Where else does it hurt?” “Do want to go to the hospital?” The one little girl wouldn’t even leave his side because he might need something & she wanted to be there just in case. When his mom showed they ran over to her before him or I even he could get to her. They told her that he fell when they were all running & scrapped his arm but “he didn’t even cry that much, so he is okay.” I am beyond proud of my class & how much they are for one another, especially only being four & five years old! I pray, that as they grow that they will continue to care for each other like they do now. I truly do love these kids like they are my own!!

Kinda love this. Says a lot and at the same time, nothing. Each bat represents an amazing kiddo on the team. I am truly enjoying being dug out mom for Carter's team.
