we haven't read enough + aren't intellectual enough to actually articulate this but the way christianity as a culture and ideology is largely used as a tool to encourage a social norm that actively hurts the oppressed is. something for sure

#xtianity is whatever is most useful to the ruling class at the time.#the more we look into basica xtian text and ethics its like. wow! the xtianity that exists as a mainstream ideology is really not that #its just so strange. we've always felt incredibly alienated from the church and xtians we've interacted with and now we have a much #better idea as to why.#churches discourage independent thought and interpretation of sacred texts in favor of obeying and falling in line with whatever it is #theyre preaching. its just so. horrifically disappointing?#the church has failed in so many ways and will continue to fail because it bends to the ruling class.#again this is worded super poorly its just. we have never ever trusted the church and now we are understanding why.#the culture of the church and xtianity as a whole has always been used as a tool of oppression and justification for imperialism #and will continue to be!!!#confluence.txt #christianity cw #religion cw
