When ppl say "well some gay men date trans men so obviously trans men are men" I just think... There were/are men who, before finding a male they were attracted too, believed they were straight until they weren't. If a straight man began dating another man, you wouldn't call him straight still just because all his previous partners were female. You would think he was bi now. I reckon the same with gay men/lesbians who date trans people

my fave is when theyre like “dont erase the history of gay people having sex with trans people!” and when the response is “yeah don’t erase the history of lesbians dating & sexually being with trans men, or the history of gay men dating & sexually being with trans women!” and then suddenly the argument changes from “dont erase the history” to “the cis gays have always been evil transphobes”

okay so firstly the extent of my history with yugioh is seeing one (1) episode briefly on tv in elementary school and thinking “hm thats a too edgy for me..... a lil scary even :(” and then watching them duel on bikes or something for an episode in middle school despite deciding it was lame and then everything else ive learned in passing on the internet and even then that is shockingly little so almost all of this is naively new to me

as it stands i have seen three (3) total episodes of yugioh

firstly i love pegasus i think hes like a millionaire or something thats just kaiba merged with an james pokemon and i think thats very funny to me. we love a fruity villain he can play his little card games if he wants. he has the right to rule the world and defy death and kill children he has a broken heart so its okay. i have seen one episode of this man

my other two faves coming up are kaiba because hes an emo bitch because hes probably got some angst card i dont know about yet and loves to make fun of joey (gay) and then big yugi or whoever the fuck. card game protagonist diavolo. the manifestation of yugis Courage or something but also simultaneously an ancient pharaoh?????? like is big yugi yugi or not. they look the fucking same. love him regardless yugi LITERALLY pulls a “mom come pick me up im scared” to make big yugi handle his problems and god i wish i could do that. how many millennium items do i need to steal off teenagers to get a big johnny to call planned parenthood so i know if my insurance will cover hrt

and as for the plot as far as i can tell pharaoh big yugi created like. big rocks to seal away the magic monsters because people got fucked up on power and then somehow those rocks got turned into a card game that you can also use for fucking tarot readings I Guess????? and the millennium items or whatever exist and theres a priest that guards them and he can enter minds and shit but big yugi gets smug about it and probably intended to kill him with his mind In his mind which was fucked up and also little yugi is the chosen one??????? chosen for fucking What though

and then i guess kaiba corp ?? tries to use the card game to rule the world or whatever. standard fair. and pegasus holds a card tournament so he can get all the millennium items and resurrect his dead wife and we Love men going mad and a little evil trying to accomplish impossible feats but he didnt go mad so points lost :/ also i think he died because this emo kid stole his eye or something and threatening him with fortune telling

also why are the fucking stakes so high its like theyre all going to die or something every episode. which also just makes it funnier in the greater fucking juxaposition of it all

also i think joey and kaiba should fight more i wanna see them fight i think itd be funny. every moment i watch feels so funny because i dont know whats going on so it all feels ridiculous and i love it. is this but a taste of what it feels like to watch any random episode of jojo without context. there is no way in hell i am going to watch this in order i dont wanna know the context of any of this. please allow me the naive pleasure of being a chimpanzee at the zoo witnessing a magic trick for the first time

anyway those are my thoughts on yugioh so far and i hope to watch more. pluto tv has a 24/7 yugioh channel that plays classic yugioh sometimes that im planning to tune into more often. completely out of order just how i like it :)

also my fave part of that response is that my original post wasnt even discourse in the first place. it was just me stating an opinion. however i do want to say that elves being treated like shit narratively is an objective fact about dragon age, i dont know how its possible to be stupid enough to look at a fantasy race that is EXPLICITLY inspired by native americans, jewish people, and romani, that are forced to live in segregated areas, that have experienced attempted genocide at the hands of humans, that are owned as slaves, that are viewed as less than animals, that are literally hunted by humans for funsies, a race where every game gives you the option to massacre an entire clan, where in the most recent game the writers started trying to semi-justify elvhen genocide and oppression by being like “well they used to own slaves too! and all of their gods were actually evil slaveowners who werent even gods but theyre too stupid to know it”, i dont know HOW it is physically possible for someone to be enough of an idiot to look at that and be like, yep! not only is that not racist writing but elves are annoying for not liking being oppressed! i am very smart and in no way does this perhaps subconsciously reflect my feelings about certain real-life situations. also i think bi people, gay men, and lesbians are all interchangeable, and by that i mean i think bi characters are superior and lesbians and gay men arent important
