i woke up and still have opinions. my eccentric bisexual friend needs to get the vibe of his monthly movie nights back on track bc i was there this week and talked to a guy who not only didn't know what sapphic was but then also made it weird

#TO BE CLEAR #i dont think not knowing what sapphic is is a bad thing but in the past this friends parties have been predominantly queer #and the ppl who attend who arent either understand ~queer cultural~ stuff or arent weird about it if they dont #basically i expect it to be the sort of party where if someone says 'where did you and x meet' and i say 'oh we met through a sapphic group #theyll be like 'oh ok cool' rather than making it a long interrogation ending with asking ME about MY dating habits and 'if [i] date women'#self #i dont even like the word sapphic dont put me in a position where i have to explain it
