⌖ If I've ever made you question your sexuality, you owe me $200!
#⌖ online#⌖ :3#// Al what does this mean#it means if you were a radio demon thirster when she was dudepresenting and you remained one after she became ladypresenting#and you questioned your sexuality over it? you owe her $200.#If you weren't into her when she was dudepresenting and you are now that she's ladypresenting and you're like 'hmm does that make me GAY'#because some ppl think being into trans gals is gay (?) and also because she's from an era that doesn't rly differentiate between gay men &#trans women (or gay men vs bi men) and she's aware she has people from an older era in her audience. anyway.#This also includes people who learned about asexuality bc she brought it into their line of sight and then questioned their sexuality.#This also includes people who do not like her so much that they've renounced liking women as a whole. There's probably like one person out#there because there's like one person for everything tbh. Anyway all of y'all owe her $200.

im so embarrassed by the androphobia gang. I'm a multigender trans man and honestly they've made me less and less likely to tell people because i hate being associated with their ideals of masculinity and maleness, which seem to be spreading like wildfire among tme trans people on this site. It's become such a horrible community to inhabit that i have genuinely started to question if there's an ethically and morally sound way to be a man in any capacity. The lads have inadvertently caused me more shame around being a trans man than "androphobia" ever will. It's so vile lmao. Maybe there is simply no saving trans men and I should just be a butch on T. I hate detransitioners, but if the other option is being a part of the theyfab symposium, then maybe it's simply not worth it
Yeah, I get that. I think it’s a question that’s been grappled with a lot beyond the context of transness as well, the broader “how can men be men without participating in patriarchy,” and while I’m personally a fan of there being more women in the world, I don’t know if that’s like, a solution to this lol.
I think it’s similar to any other power dynamic like it, whether it be sexuality/gender/race/whatever, it’s not somethin that can be solved by renouncing your personal claim in it, it’s just something that requires constant vigilance against

Pretty astounding that it only took about 3 years to completely re-normalise heterosexuals constantly attacking LGBTQ+ people in the media and public sphere provided you pretended it was aimed at either "gender ideology" or Stonewall.
who knew that thing trans people were saying about how they were being used as a wedge issue to let right wingers be openly bigoted again was 100% true except for all those trans people saying that true thing
Any claim that this is just a rift between otherwise-progressive cis LGB people and trans people goes out the window when considering how they also complain about "wokeness" and "queer ideology."
Go off, greyshades.
By the way, some of the things you’ve mentioned (particularly “wedge issue” and “rift between otherwise-progressive LGB people and trans people) reminds me of arguments that I've heard of, from within the LGBT+ community and without, that the whole “trans rights or trans wrongs” is either a distraction from the fabled “real issues”, or so contentious that it’s doing the community more harm than it is good, or that it’ll destabilized the “good will” or respectability that they’ve built up throughout the years. Oh if only they'd just drop the T then everything would go back to normal and the LGBs would be free to roam these lands, affirmation and respect from cishet people firmly grasped!
To quote Pennis Drager, "well, the opposite is true". As you've pointed out, they've made their distaste for all of the other letters known. Most of the political and media figureheads who "fight back against the trans agenda" also despise gay people. Not to mention there's a bit of a pipeline at play. Most of the anti-trans arguments are recycled anti-gay arguments, and it's not very hard to reverse-engineer them to their original state. Once you become convinced that being trans is a destructive lifestyle and they're probably all pedophiles, you're already armed with the mal-informed statistics, fallacious arguments, and bad headspace required to say the exact same things about LGB people. Not to mention, we know that social media algorithms, when told to recommend more anti-trans content, slowly pushes you towards anti-gay content, right before shoving you into skull shapes, Jewish presence in politics and the media, as well as The Woman Question.
The important thing to remember is that right-wingers and their bigotry is like a unceasing onslaught that needs to be opposed on every angle at every opportunity (which is ironically the same thing they say about us, but the difference is that we're based and they're sad and ineffectual). Even if they focused all of it into just transphobia, renounced everything else, and pinkie-promised that they have no issue with gay people and it's just "transgenderism" they have issues with, if they win that fight they will immediately go back to repealing gay marriage. And then women's rights. And then we go back to slavery. Look at Texas. They made it illegal to provide any aid whatsoever to trans minors, whether that be puberty blockers, social transition, or even not snitching to parents upon having any suspicion over whether or not they are "boys are blue and girls are pink" capital-c Cis. They got their W over the "trans agenda". Then they snuck "no more MLK, no more civil rights, no more civil war, no more anything about America being racist" into an anti-CRT bill. Then they banned abortion, violating Roe v. Wade while also deputizing their citizens to turn in anyone who tries to get another abortion, even if they're leaving the state to do so. Now they're reconsidering restoring their anti-sodomy laws. Do you know what I mean? Clarification, I am NOT saying "we have to fight for trans rights, otherwise they'll take all of our other rights away", because we should be fighting for trans rights on the grounds that they're human rights. But I am saying that the anti-trans stuff isn't "a new wave of bigotry", it's newer blood from the same old, desiccated, somehow-still-beating heart that has longed for the suffering of mankind, and that all throwing trans people under the bus does is bring you one step closer to getting intimate with the wheels yourself one day.
Also I haven't heard the thing about Stonewall. What's going on there?
