Idk what you guys mean when you say "HOO is so much darker and more mature" than PJO. They contain the same things.
#riordanverse#pjo#percy jackson series#heroes of olympus#hoo#i mean this genuinely#hoo never once struck me as being darker or more mature than pjo#they've both got murder fighting suicidal thoughts and attempts major suffering#pretend there are commas between those words#anyway they both have wars where people die and hmm what else do the kids think of as dark#animal and domestic abuse are both there#there arent many kissing scenes and the ones that are there are pretty tame#i find it doubtful that toa is darker or more mature than either of them too#bc like they're all for middle schoolers is the thing#anyway let me know what y'all consider dark and mature about them bc i dont see it
