yandere shane from stardew? my taste in videogame men is..... meow.
-🐈‍⬛
Ooo, ok so Shane is pretty stand off-ish in game but for a yandere take on him I think he'd be a bit crass? Like, openly eyeing you up and down, licking his lips, lewd comments, things like that. This is mainly due to him assuming you're out of his league, using these comments as a way to push you away and laugh at you rather than you getting to know him and dumping him
He does a whole ass 180 once you start to show affection after you know him
He goes from leering asshole at the bar to awkward high school crush asking you to prom. The more you know and accept him the more he lets himself fall for you and he falls hard. He needs you, he needs you so much it hurts, and it only gets worse after he quits. See, without anything clouding his brain he gets to think about you all the time, which leads to him being extremly clingy
He'll try and play it off like he's a big tough man, but if you talk down to him at all he's on his knees. He's a huge simp for you and will do anything you tell him to, even if he plays it off like that's just what he wanted to do anyway. Brat. He's basicly begging you to snap and put him in his place, maybe hold that new shiny sword up to his throat while telling him how efficiently you can use it
In this version of things Shane would probably have a "No more drinks" moment much sooner than in game. Once that happens all alcohol would become a hated gift and Joja Cola and ginger ale would become loved gifts since they're the closest thing to sparkling water we have in game. His schedule would also change, no longer heading to the bar and instead heading to Jaz's room where they would stand in front of her doll house and play together (Or be in his chicken room but only after that cutscene)

15 Questions for 15 Friends
15 questions for 15 friends
Tagged by @pikapeppa <3
ARE YOU NAMED AFTER ANYONE? Two people, actually! My middle name is my maternal grandmother's, and I got my first name from my childhood best friend. She was born a few months before me, and my mom loved her name so much she gave it to me too. We were inseparable, but sadly she died in an accident when we were 8, so now I carry the name for both of us.
WHEN WAS THE LAST TIME YOU CRIED? Last week when I was having a bad fibromyalgia flare and hit critical mass for being able to cope. Chronic pain is a bitch, yo. 0/10, do not recommend.
DO YOU HAVE KIDS? Very happily childless. I have a TON of niblings though and love being an auntie.
WHAT SPORTS DO YOU PLAY/HAVE YOU PLAYED? I was hardcore into softball as a kid, spent 8 years playing. Not that wimpy slow pitch stuff either, which is why I've never been able to get back into it since casual adult leagues are just... different. I was a pitcher and 1st base, and even now I can catch pretty much anything thrown in my general direction purely by instinct 😂
DO YOU USE SARCASM? Nooooooo, I would never!
WHAT IS THE FIRST THING YOU NOTICE ABOUT PEOPLE? Oooh this is a hard one to explain. I studied costume design in college, and one of the things they trained us on is how to look at a person's whole appearance in order to "read" them as a character. It's a habit I never really got over, so I'm always looking for people's "character cues" and they're always going to be different from one person to another.
WHAT'S YOUR EYE COLOUR? Mostly brown, but other colors come out depending on the light
SCARY MOVIES OR HAPPY ENDINGS? HAPPY ENDINGS HAPPY ENDINGS I refuse to engage with depressing or genuinely unsettling media. My life is already full of too much bullshit, I'm full up.
ANY TALENTS? I can catch very nearly anything thrown in my general direction 😜 I'm also kinda... idiot-savant-ish when it comes to learning new artistic and craft mediums? I pick up the basic concepts really quickly, and I've yet to encounter something I genuinely suck at or can't figure out. Oh yeah and I can sing!
WHERE WERE YOU BORN? In a hospital in California, which is where I grew up.
WHAT ARE YOUR HOBBIES? Crafts! Painting, wire wrapping, drawing, a bit of leather working, and anything else that strikes my fancy. I also love jigsaw puzzles, smutty romance novels, very specific RPG videogames, and taking care of my plants
DO YOU HAVE ANY PETS? No 😭The husbear and I are both allergic to anything we'd actually want to have around.
HOW TALL ARE YOU? 5'5".
FAVOURITE SUBJECT IN SCHOOL? High school: choir and theater. College: studio drawing classes, especially the one in my final year that was taught by a guy in my D&D group, who also happened to be a professional illustrator for MtG!
DREAM JOB? I used to dream about designing the costumes for Cirque du Soliel. That was THE dream, until I gave up theater and switched to illustration. Nowadays I just want to make a success of my little craft business, and be able to earn enough to actually need to file taxes for it 🫠 Okay, now to figure out who to tag.... @ariseis @mumms-the-word @charmedcleric @drizztdohurtin @halsins-herbal-underpants @carmsgarms @galebrainrot2024 @alexxxaloy @lemonsrosesandlavender @luinen-bluewater @autistichalsin @nerd-artist ... it's not 15, but eh. Close enough!

QUESTIONS FOR 15 FRIENDS
I was tagged by @femmefighter in this lovely thing. So, let's go
ARE YOU NAMED AFTER ANYONE: Nope, but I'm named after my older brother's fav word at that time, if that counts
WHEN WAS THE LAST TIME YOU CRIED: two months already, I think! Look at me, moving on from my shit *self back pat*
DO YOU HAVE KIDS: nope
WHAT SPORTS DO YOU PLAY/HAVE YOU PLAYED: I played in a multi-sport sort of league between the schools in my town when I was a kid so a bit of soccer, basketball, handball and volleyball and some after-school swimming. I then got into tennis for a few years as a teen and I do crossfit now. I'm a pretty sporty person.
DO YOU USE SARCASM: not too much. I actually have some difficulties to read through it in some circumstances 😅
WHAT IS THE FIRST THING YOU NOTICE ABOUT PEOPLE: whether they're my vibe or not. It's funny because I don't really pick up their vibe even, I just know if their vibe, whatever it is (I'll figure it out later) gets along with mine
WHAT'S YOIRBEYE COLOUR: dark brown, default colour but at least it matches my hair's
SCARY MOVIES OR HAPPY ENDINGS: scary movies with happy endings, I want it all!! 😂
ANY TALENTS?: hmmm dunno, sports always came easy for me. Music as well. But probably the talent my friends appreciate the most is my ability to drop the most random shit at the most random moment because my brain just jumped from thought to thought and I can end up asking you about wasps when you asked me what I want for dinner 🤷🏻‍♀️
WHERE WERE YOU BORN: 🇪🇸
WHAT ARE YOUR HOBBIES: ugh, too many! play, compose and produce music; reading; hiking; sports in general; computers; videogames and I recently tried the paint-by-numbers thing and I liked it a lot
DO YOU HAVE ANY PETS?: my handsome dog boy
HOW TALL ARE YOU: 165cm
FAVOURITE SUBJECT IN SCHOOL: I had many, but probably physics
DREAM JOB: I used to dream about having my own lab and my own research group. Then I realised I'd rather be happy the rest of my life.
I really don't know who to pass this onto, so I'll leave it open. Feel free to jump in!!

I want to share a strange but interesting headcanon that I've been thinking about and that is that if Luz Noceda had met the League of Villains (not knowing they were villains to begin with or just knowing them before they were villains) she probably would have become friends with them.
Let me explain, Luz is someone who canonically likes magic, fantasy, anime, videogames, taxidermy and death in general and her greatest desire was to be understood by others and the League strangely share aspects with Luz as well as deeply share the same desire as her (be understood by others):
Shigaraki: Luz and Shigaraki want to be like the people they admire the most (Luz wants to be a witch like Azura and Tomura wanted to be a hero like All Might) but they felt that their families and general environment rejected their wish. In addition, they hate themselves for situations beyond their control and the main villain of their series has made them believe that they are guilty of said situations. Also, Shigaraki and Luz love video games and I imagine them together with Spinner sharing their interests.
Spinner: Luz and Spinner despise themselves due to the ridicule they suffer from others and seek to be special like their favorite characters to feel better about themselves and ended up helping the main villain of their respective series without realizing it. I think Luz would love Spinner's look and that, plus the love of video games and anime that she shares with Shigaraki, would mean a lot to him (plus I can imagine Spinner, luz and Shigaraki sharing manga, books, video games as well as Luz and Spinner cosplaying Azura and Stain while flattering each other would be quite a fun scenario).
Dabi: Luz and Touya were desperate to please a parental figure in their lives so they wouldn't stop loving them and they overexerted themselves, hurting themselves in the process, but said parental figures failed (only Camila, unlike Endeavor, admits that failed Luz and seeks to support her in the best way she can).
Toga: Luz and Himiko share a taste for things that are unpleasant to others (Luz likes taxidermy and death and Himiko likes blood because her quirk is based on blood so blood is natural to her, even both found death animals as children and proudly showed it to others) and want to connect with others but both sabotage themselves because they're afraid of rejection. I think if they had met in middle school before Toga's incident with Saito, they would have become friends. Also, both characters are related to shapeshifting (Toga can shapeshift with her quirk and Luz has String Bean which is a shapeshifting palisman).
Twice: Luz and Twice just wanted to have people to trust but they always trusted the wrong person (it happened to Luz once with Belos and it happened to Twice, pun not intended, twice with Overhaul and Hawks) and blame themselves on themselves for it and were afraid that their friends would abandon them, blame them or get hurt for it.
Mr. Compress: Let's face it, Mr. Compress is the closest thing the League has to a wizard and even his quirk works like magic tricks and he probably appreciates Luz's wit and creativity and Luz loves magic so she would like him. Mr. Compress acts as an overseer for the League, working almost like a father figure who doesn't discriminate against them and genuinely loves them and Luz would highly value this type of attention from an adult because she feels that it is the first time that a human adult has appreciated her that is not her mother. Also, Mr. Compress is the great-great-grandson of the thief Oji Harima and shares his ancestor's desire to expose the injustice within hero society and reform the world into something better, something similar to what Luz wanted to do regarding Belos and the Boiling Islands in general.
Kurogiri: Just like Mr. Compress, Kurogiri functions as a caretaker for the League not only because of his programming as a nomu but because he is a caretaker by nature (Shirakumo was always characterized as a caretaker) and again, Luz would highly appreciate this kind of attention from an adult. Also, the magic of String Bean, Luz's palisman, has a similar color to Kurogiri's portals.

So, I had this thought process
I've been thinking a lot about that Adam Sandler movie "Pixels", and I think I just wrote a summarized alternate plot for it in my head and I need to write it down.
Okay;
Let's start by brainstorming on writing better and more relatable protagonists. For many, this movie is very hard to watch because it almost feels like a bunch of middle-aged guy's writing in nice-guy self inserts of themselves to feel better about whatever mid-life crisis they're having. And maybe this wouldn't be too bad if their characters were just a bit more than "middle aged creep who lives in his mom's basement is secretly a romantic warrior when put in the right scenario".
At least for me, it's very hard to relate to that kind of protagonist; given how that character is usually the most developed out of all the characters in this type movie. I often find that it's hard to relate to nerdy nice guy characters who often get away with the lack of likeable qualities just because "life should have treated them better". It comes off more as a pity-party more than anything, and their unmotivated dynamic with the "out of their league" love interest, who always comes off as nothing more than a trophy and\or act as an excuse to get the climax rolling in the last 20 minutes after getting captured by the big bad.
So then, how would I write an 80's nostalgia themed adventure movie? What, say, would you think would be a practical way to write the main cast in a way that audiences new and old can relate? Easy; If your intention is to give your entire audience a wave of nostalgia, but to still keep it relatable, then why not make your main cast kids? (credit to Black Nerd Comedy for that idea) I would probably suggest between the age of 12 and 16, and maybe with the occasional big brother\sister type characters and some of their friends . Kids often have a ton of freedom, a large imagination, basic priorities, and a lot less worries than adults. Just about anyone should be able to relate to that, since everybody either was or is a kid at some point of time. And I'm not saying that you can't write for\relate to older protagonists, but you don't want to alienate your audience, especially when making something that might catch the eye of a younger crowd.
Not to mention that ever since the 80's, kids have always been a major player by the impact of technology. For some reason though, the plot of Pixels doesn't really have to do with technology. There's guns and contraptions that are specifically made to destroy the pixels, but it doesn't really go much father than that with the tech. The plot more focuses on going on the "alien invasion" route (which I would think would be more 60's sci-fi based than 80's, which was more experimental in cosmic horror with its alien media)(not including Space Invaders. Shush. That does not count). Honestly, I think 80's nostalgia can be replaced with just about anything when it comes to a "shape-shifting aliens who mimic earthly cultures" plot. It's very basic, yet it doesn't really fit in with the theme of arcade games. It just comes off as a poor excuse for pandering to 80's kids, instead of using that element to bring up interesting concepts and world-exploring in this universe.
So I have two solutions for this, either;
A. Do not do a time jump, and keep the story in the 80's. Make it an alternate universe where different forms of consoles and computers are being developed. Maybe the adult characters are very unfamiliar with these changes, but allowing for the kid characters to have more of an advantage because that stuff would be more relevant to them. Because this was before a time where kids often thought about becoming programmers, it will also work as a disadvantage to the kids because they won't have an excuse to suddenly know how the opposing side works.
Or B. It takes place in a modern era, with Virtual reality, game consoles, and laptops, but it doesn't overly modernize itself with teens on phones, saying outdated things like "lemmie just take a selfie" saying "hashtag" out loud, or any junk like that (Because guess what? Teens and kids don't usually act like that). Maybe make the environment time neutral by making it a mix between the 2010's, 2000's, 1990's, and 1980's. I don't really think it's relevant enough to work in a present setting.
And lastly, let's talk about the big bad of the movie.
Really in Pixels, it's more of a self-struggle either projected upon others, or manifested into it's own being for the protagonist to succeed. There's not really a lot of leg space for anyone else to develop other than the main character (and perhaps something happens occasionally to the comedic reliefs\mascot characters). I imagine maybe this version doesn't have just one central character\plot, kind of like Stranger Things. However, unlike Stranger Things, I would also like a compelling and intriguing villain. Sadly, Pixels doesn't really have that; i has Donkey Kong, but he's nothing more than an alien catering to the protagonist's inner struggles (and nostalgia). There's nothing really more to DK other than that, so there's not a lot of difference between him and any of his previous minions.
And there's nothing really compelling about DK; because at least in canon, he's just a scared circus animal. There's not a lot of reasoning behind his actions other than to just invade. It's basic alien stuff like I said before, it can basically be replaced with some other theme than arcade games.
So what would be a compelling antagonist? Foils to the main group of characters (such as an older school bully, or maybe twisted programmers), create conflict, but if we're keeping the theme of attack of the machines and videogame characters, there has to be a bigger bad than that.
Oh! If only there was an already established villain-coded, tech-based, 80's icon with the ability to control almost all technology!
....

Trust me, I'm onto something!
Max Headroom was always presented as an egotistical talking head. He had multiple shows in the 1980's, as well as guest starred on multiple shows. Perhaps Max survives off of his viewers, and constantly strives to expand his audience. Max does not tend to care about other's well beings, and just wishes to use them as a way to gain publicity for his shows. Max also has a tendency to step over whoever he needs to to gain popularity, including his own film crew.
Max also has multiple canon abilities such as:
Being able to transfer to any screen (including arcade games)
See and interact with the people watching him
Control more than one screen
Interact with himself from one screen to another (multitask)
Turn on and off lights (and likely other outlets as well)
Manipulate the visuals of the screen that he's controlling
All of these abilities can be expanded and explored enough to set him up as a powerful and unpredictable villain.
I've also came up with a couple motives as well;
A. If this is in a modern era, Max could be suffering from a long hiatus since he hasn't been that active since the 80's; causing Max to seek as much attention to thrive off of as possible. To do this, Max hijacks as many outlets as possible to air his show. He might also use this as a way to repel audiences away from all other media; making it easier to turn to him for entertainment.
B. This takes place in an alternate universe where Max Headroom became more popular than it originally was. He starts taking over half of ads and television shows on air, getting more power hungry with each channel he takes. However, in his media take-over, ratings take a slight drop due to uninterested children who have turned to other outlets like toys, videogames, and arcades. This inspires Max to take a full takeover over everything electrical, causing a full invasion of all things electrical.
(I also forgot to mention that Max very likely hates children, and has canonly protested the execution of all of them)
Bam! And there you have it. A slightly more efficient plot for Pixels.
This was rotting in my head for a while and I wanted to let it out. Sorry for the ramble.

I will say it's a small comfort to me that Gar and Raven are never aged out for each other though. They're always on the same team roster and they're always roughly the same age.
Real-life age gap between teenage/young adult Teagan Croft (she started her role on the live-action TITANS series as Raven at just 13-years-old, but she's somehow cited as 17 as of 2021) & middle-age Ryan Potter (age 30+), notwithstanding, of course.
Incidentally, the same could also be said for the pre-New 52 comics which first begot BBXRae as comic canon (during the Geoff Johns comic run, which is eerily coincidental, given how Geoff Johns is the present showrunner on TITANS) in the first place, considering how Beast Boy had finally grown-up as a young adult (age 20+), however Raven now found herself de-aged into a burgeoning 16-year-old host body/sacrificial vessel of high school age, thanks to being resurrected to be a child bride by the Trigon-worshipping Brother Blood Sebastian (whom an injured & self-loathing Beast Boy angrily referred to as Charles Manson Jr. whilst simultaneously berating himself over his shortcomings as leader of the Teen Titans - the 3rd iteration thereof, if we as comic readers/filmgoers/TV viewers, like DC editorial themselves did, openly disregarded specific splinter groups like Titans East, Titans L.A. & the original pre-reboot "Titans Hunt" storyline, but rather simply continued along in the footsteps of The Fab Five/"Junior Justice [Little] League", first introduced in the heavily campy 1960's as part of the whole self-imposed Comics Code Authority censorship nonsense in the wake of government officials being persuaded by the asinine theories put forth in the Seduction of the Innocent defamatory hit piece book that erroneously claimed comic books/action movies/violent videogames were leading contributors, if not outright catalysts, directly responsible for the rise in juvenile delinquency instead of pointing its self-righteously accusatory fingers at the true culprit of poor parenting or a known growing anti-establishmentarianism that existed courtesy of the rebellious, disenfranchised youth of America steadfastly believing in the "Us vs Them" mindset often seen between creatively innovative minds who feel stifled/hampered/marginalized by the increasingly corporate businesses their formerly engaging, previously free-thinking parent companies have since sadly turned into once the bubble that was the "Greed is Good" 1980's splurge finally burst & the "standards & practices" of political-correctness gone awry acted as code mandating more stringent guidelines & stricter adherence to preset regulations becoming the norm/stubborn teens versus similarly bull-headed adults/the crunched middle class & put upon poor being squeezed of every tax dollar meanwhile the wealthy 1% get even richer/the blue-collar everyman & scrappy underdog both standing up against corrupt civil authority propped up by an equally fundamentally flawed, clearly broken cultural system, which consequently fed the gritty, more dramatized stories created in the New Teen Titans era written by "creative geniuses" Marv Wolfman & George Perez, whose landmark run only spanned from 1980 to 1996, but was revitalized in 2003 under the standalone Teen Titans title by Geoff Johns, with the NTT holdovers mentoring the ex Young Justice team members before both teams ultimately split due to the death of lynchpin/mediator/peacemaker Donna Troy] shortly before the BBXRae memorable moment of the couple's first kiss inside the morgue during issue #30 of the "Life or Death" arc).
I think I'd lose it if they were to age up one and not the other and then shove random people together with both of them. (but knowing DC they'd pull this shit eventually
Raven with Damien was/is this, since Raven's chronologically canonically old enough to be Damien's mother Talia Al Ghul's age, but has been made younger with each passing adaptation of her character for reasons only known by the powers that be at DC Comics. Not to mention the fact that Damien in the Rebirth comics essentially received the Jason Todd treatment, right down to readers wanting him to die to benefit characters they liked much better than the jackass jerk blood son of the Batman, whose egotistical narcissism saw him perceive anyone but Batman as beneath him & unfairly deem not just hardened crooks, but also his more heroic allies & even innocent civilian citizens as expendable pawns, as his assassin background & cynical demeanor made him come off like a deplorable douchebag, which is why he was on Lazarus Island recouping from dying, just as Jason Todd before him came back from the dead as Red Hood. Happily, BBXRae has returned to being canon during this interim, however Damien has still somehow weaseled his way into Gabriel Piccolo & Kami Garcia's Beast Boy Loves Raven hopefully pro-BBXRae graphic novel, within which he has no valid business existing therein.
I find it ironic how the Teen Titans were originally a team of superheroes meant to be exclusive for the Justice League sidekicks (Robin for Batman, Wondergirl for Wonderwoman, Aqualad for Aquaman, Speedy for Green Lantern etc). Raven, Beast Boy, Starfire and Cyborg were new additions created just for this new team with no prior JL hero as a precursor for them to act as a sidekick to... And yet all the sidekicks are allowed to age up and out of the "Teen" in Teen Titans and replaced by even younger sidekicks to the older heroes but the very characters that should be the easiest to age up and out are the ones not allowed to. Cyborg is at least on the JL now and Starfire usually is aged up just because Dick is and they have a relationship but Raven and Gar are always kept as teens and it's just weird to me because @ DC why wouldn't you want to make two characters that you have mature and grow when there isn't even a threat to any of the older heroes associated with your other famous superhero team?
I will say it's a small comfort to me that Gar and Raven are never aged out for each other though. They're always on the same team roster and they're always roughly the same age. I think I'd lose it if they were to age up one and not the other and then shove random people together with both of them. (but knowing DC they'd pull this shit eventually and I'm sorry for speaking it prematurely... Hopefully this is not speaking it into existence tho cuz nobody wants that to exist)
