AO3 was literally founded by non-con and incest shippers (thorki and wincest if memory serves - Naomi Novik/Astolat is one of the founders), it was made by freaks for freaks, as it's usually said. As someone that despises several things I always stumble upon, incest included! I just filter it out; so how about you read through the AO3 ToS and Rules, learn how AO3 tagging and filtering works, because I can easily tell you don't know, and let people be weird in the very space they created to be weird. Or just go to Wattpad and FFdotNet as those places are waaaay more moderated and their ToS is more restricted.

but wait... by what you show on the screenshot you actually went in, clicked through content warnings, and clicked the VERY obviously tagged:

-"Cassandra Dimitrescu/Daniela Dimitrescu"

-"Sibling Incest"

-Explicit Rated

you get those three things appropriately tagged in a fanfic, you click it, and still complain you got incest?? even worse! you WILLINGLY clicked twice more to know who bookmarked and who commented AND proceeded to read the comments. You legit just went there to get offended/shocked/sick. This is all a You problem.

Okay I can see from where you are coming from. I never knew ao3 was made by non con/incest shippers, thank you for telling me. I didn’t tap those three things, I simply was looking for a character and stumbled among the fic. I was curious ofc and wanted to see what the comments said. I did that to myself. I just happened to see how many people bookmarked the fic, I didnt seek them out.

They are fictional characters yet it is still concerning. Most of the people who ship siblings together most likely do the same thing in real life, (I remember seeing a video about someone talking abt it with real people and fictional characters somewhere.) I do not ship BelaDonna. I have reblogged some art containing BelaDonna but those people don’t see them as family, everyone has different opinions. (which I know reading that you may think ‘oh well the person probably doesn’t think of them as siblings either, they did and made it very clear.) I didn’t know they call each other siblings, I never played the game I just like the characters and plot. So once again, thats on me.

I know maybe me explaining this makes 0 sense but im not very good at describing things if im gonna be honest. I blocked the person who made the fic afterwards along with the comments so I can prevent seeing the person later on.
