Y/N: "My mom was the same. She pushed me to be strong, independent. But it's okay to lean on someone, Max. You don't have to carry the weight alone."

Max: (meeting her gaze) "I want to be the best, for him, for us. But it's hard."

Y/N: "You're already the best, Max. Not just on the track, but in here." She places her hand on his heart.

Max leans in, forehead touching Y/N's

Max: "I don't say it enough, but having you by my side... it makes all of this bearable."

Y/N: (smiling) "That's what partners are for, right?"

They share a lingering kiss, the connection deepening.

Max, in a fit of frustration, paces around the room.

Max: "Trust? Easy for you to say. I'm out there pushing myself to the limit, and this is what I get in return?"

Y/N: (teary-eyed) "This isn't about trust issues, Max. It's about us, about weathering storms together. But if you can't handle that..."

The room falls silent, the weight of their words lingering in the air.

Max: (softening) "Y/N, I... I didn't mean to lash out. It's just, everything's getting to me."

Y/N: (whispers) "I get it, Max. But we can't let the world tear us apart. We have something real."

In a cozy, dimly lit restaurant in London, tucked away from the bustling streets. Max and Y/N sit across from each other, a mixture of emotions in the air.

Max: (nervously playing with his napkin) "Y/N, we've been through a lot. Ups and downs, fights and kisses. And I wouldn't change any of it for the world."

Max: "Y/N, I can't promise it'll always be easy. Hell, knowing us, it probably won't be. But I promise to be everything you need and more. Will you marry me?"

Y/N, surprised and overwhelmed, hesitates for a moment before a smile spreads across her face.

Y/N: (teasingly) "Max Verstappen, getting down on one knee? Never thought I'd see the day."

Max: (grinning) "Well, there's a first time for everything."

Y/N chuckles, her eyes sparkling with emotion.

Y/N: "Alright then, Max. You drive me crazy, but... yes, I'll marry you."

Max's face lights up with joy. He slips the ring onto her finger, and they share a passionate kiss, sealing their promise amid the romantic ambiance of the London night.

For the peoples saying that nobody asked for the upcoming Global Horse Store, may I propose a concept for consideration?

Non-Star Rider is a category of players that exists.

Non-SRs can only reach Moorland, Fort Pinta, the zonies at the circus, the pony championship, and most events that have portals in one of those areas.

They used to have access to Ferdinand's Horse Market, full of ancient models that are relatively affordable, but they have been deprived of that for quite a while now. Non-SRs have to wait for the bazaar to have a similar, if slightly more expensive, setup.

Those who can't buy lifetime, or even a monthly subscription, also have to depend on the rare SC codes SSO gives out. So they may pull together enough SC to get one horse after 2-3 years, if they're extremely frugal.

Having a global horse store that will have every horse, hopefully including Ferdinand's, is a dream for a non-SR. They'll finally be able to get a breed they want and in the color they want.

Certain breeds/coats may still be locked by player level/rep, just like the tack and clothes in the current global store, but at least non-SRs will get some of what they once had either way. _

No, having a global horse store will not discourage exploration all that much, if at all. SSO and players alike already forget that Dino, Mistfall, Redwood, and Wildwoods exist. Players who don't like the GHS can do the same thing as players who complain about Instagram comments they don't want to see: Practice self-discipline and not click the button that would reveal it.

And no, it will not screw up reputation-building because older/less popular models already get moved to higher-level areas like Epona. SSO nullified the logic of it themselves. _

TL;DR please think a little bit less about "nobody asked for it" and a little more about "what kind of players might benefit from it." I hear being inclusive is a good thing to do.

[GP3 & F2 LIVE]

-George mentioned he loves Montoya for his aggressiveness (also said he admires Verstappen for the same reason and his overtaking, in another interview as well), Hamilton for his strength in pace. But overall, he picks Schumacher as his all time favorite. He said it's a difficult pick!

-Because George has only previously driven the night race thrice (Bahrain, AD quali, AD race), he actually makes a gamble of undercutting De Vries during AD18 to try and take the lead back. No one had any clear idea of how long the tyres were going to last and he managed it! He compromised a bit by managing the tyres when he could've pulled a +10s gap but with the risk of the tyres being gone due to how the Abu Dhabi circuit is

-The press commented on how George had a really good attitude and they're excited to see how he goes in the future

-George names Maggots and Becketts (Silverstone) as his favorite corner. But also mentions Parabolica (Monza) as one of the greatest ones.

-George's favorite race track in the GP3 calendar is Silverstone because that's where he got his first F1 test and it's his home race but his favorite race track in the world is Macau because it's one of a kind street circuit, "nothing can ever come close to it"

-F2 Era George drives a Mercedes A200. He also would like to drive Senna to Mansell, early 90s Williams F1 car if he had the chance!

-On other interviews, George mentioned liking Wolverhampton Wanderers and Manchester United but he didn't in this specific interview. George mentions football player Ronaldinho as his favorite player in the past though!

-George asked for the press to include Alex Albon in the championship photoshoot of him and Lando at Sochi 2018. He also kept reminding the press of Alex's achievement throughout the 2018 F2 season and also talks about his rivalry/friendship with Alex.

-George's lows on F2 season was Baku FR, when Nyck De Vries locked up and crashed to George who was in the lead, causing George to drop down to P12. Although everyone backs him, he felt like he could do something or compromise a bit to minimize the accident that day. While his overall lows is the Monaco GP where he had engine failure during the practice, qualifies P16 and +1s from pole, and DNF-ed in both races. -Other than not participating again at Macau GP, George also opted out from Race of Champions because he didn't want to risk sustaining any serious injury that might have an impact on his upcoming racing schedules.

-George mentions about being interested in oval track racing after watching Fernando Alonso in Indy500 and that he'll be interested to try that out in the future

-George did not play F1 2016 or other racing related games due to his busy schedule with being the sim driver. He mentions he plays the "upgraded version" of it with the Mercedes F1 Simulator instead.

-A fan asked about how the sim works had helped him in GP3 races and George said the sim works did not help him much for race prep as the set up for the simulator is for an F1 car while he drives a GP3 cars but it gives him more laps and experience under his belt on different circuits.

-The celebratory chocolate brownie that he ate after Austria 2017 (the one where he took a pic with Valtteri) did not taste that good. He flew back with the Mercedes team and they offered everyone champagne or chocolate brownies. George had to opt for the brownies.

-George was asked by a fan about his opinion on what Liberty Media is doing in F1 😭😭 He responds to it maturely with saying that Liberty Media aims to have more publicity for the Formula One by having more coverage of the sport and he respects that they are trying to do so as well with the feeder series. He said he looks forward to what they'll do in the future.

-Another fan asked him about the Mercedes powertrain plan (as well as Mercedes' GT3 powertrain plans 😭😭). Again, he answers it maturely by saying the fan should ask Mercedes that as George didn't have much knowledge about it.

Basic info

He mostly plays attack/centre. Usually the one to lead charges to score and break the other players ankles when they steal the ball.

He has a habit for getting carried away (despite his efforts for self-control) and slams too hard into enemy players. This has earned him a lot of rivalries with other teams and even some red card violations.

During practice or friendly games they sometimes put him as a goalkeeper. He's quite good at it and they don't have a fixed goalkeeper at the moment. It also gets him away from the field if he's too worked up.

It's cold so he wears a polo leotard under the team uniform. He chose the number 1 because that's how he seems himself, it makes him feel good and confident.

He "needs full movement of his legs" so the shorts stay as they are, ofcourse.

He naps before important matches to gather his energy and strength.

The plot.

He has been playing football his whole life. He considers it part of who he is.

The team is doing well locally, and they're trying really hard to get a place in the National Championship coming soon. Their goalkeeper quit so they're having difficulties.

Itachi wants to get noticed by an official team so he is internally panicking about their prospects. He might leave the team and join elsewhere if he sees they don't have chances of making it.

Their team dynamic

Itachi isn't interested in anything that doesn't concern the team. He's quite strict and lectures them on their mistakes.

However, he knows team dynamics are important (unfortunately) so he actually tries to be friendly.

He comments on good plays, gives advice and even offers joint training + exercise sessions(and the others do join in when they can).

The others also dream of playing football as their career. They are very dedicated to this goal and take the team seriously.

It pleases Itachi that they share his determination to succeed.

He still does not join in unrelated group activities. He doesn't like people, even though these ones are... tolerable.

They earnestly listen to his criticisms and discuss his own areas of improvement.

Their passion makes him feel like they're in this together, that they're almost a famil-

The... issue

The team hates it when he's aggressive on the field. It always creates a horrible tension between them. They've talked to him about it multiple times and although he, begrudgingly, agreed to work on it he still gets caught up in the moment sometimes.

He hates it when his emotions take over in the field. He hates it when he messes up. Again.

Itachi has been with this team for a long time and scores a lot of their goals. They would never kick him out, but his increasing attitude problem is making him harder to handle during matches. They also have a dream to think of and he could become a disadvantage if he continues.

Itachi is not handling the stress about the upcoming National Championship well. They are behind without a good goalkeeper and they're running out of time.

His restlessness has resulted in more incidents that, despite not causing trouble so far, throw off the rest of the team.

The now

Today's match ended 15 minutes ago. Another win, but that's not enough.

Right now, no one else cares. They won.

They changed clothes. They're going home.

He's wearing a hoodie and sweatpants, with his bag slung over his right shoulder. No time for any training, this was a late match and the sun has already set.

A quick word with the team, to tell them what they did right, and all they could still fix. It's late. They're tired but they smile along and nod to every word.

A quick goodbye. They all wave at him with whatever energy they have left as they walk off together to the nearest coffeeshop. They call back an invitation -as they always do. He turns it down -as he always does- and begins the walk home in the opposite direction.

He does not smile. But- but it feels good. Peaceful. He's ready to head off to bed and sleep.

EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW: Kurt Hummel gets first medal of the season with Blaine Anderson

Kurt Hummel has impressed us once again - his coaching career has undoubtedly gone off to a great start.

Kurt Hummel (27) left his country earlier this year after a video of Blaine Anderson doing his routine went viral. Many speculate that Hummel had been looking for inspiration this season and had trouble finding a good enough theme. As a coach, he was able to try something different and surprise all of us - as Kurt Hummel loves to do to his audience.

We were definitely surprised when he chose to coach Blaine Anderson instead of Blaise Lambiel from his own team, but now we can all agree that they have been doing an amazing work together. This weekend Anderson took the podium and won a silver medal on his first event of the Grand Prix Series. Right after this accomplishment, World Of Skating managed to get a small interview with Kurt Hummel.

WOS (World Of Skating): Nice to meet you, Mr. Hummel, I would first like to start by congratulating you and Mr. Anderson on your silver medal.

KH (Kurt Hummel): Thank you very much, we both worked really hard for it.

WOS: Since when have you and Blaine been working together?

KH: Ever since I went to Lima, Ohio. His home town. I met with him there and offered my services as a coach (he chuckles).

WOS: So you didn't discuss it beforehand?

KH: Not really, no. We-uh... We met briefly last year, but no.

WOS: What made you decide to coach Blaine Anderson?

KH: As you all can see by now, Blaine had a lot of potential. He had this raw energy inside him and when he did my routine in that video I found it very impressive. His skating is unique and he moves beautifully on the ice. I missed seeing that kind of potential.

As we mentioned before, Hummel took the world by surprise when he decided not only to become a coach, but coach someone who wasn't from his own team. Many people expressed their frustration that he didn't choose to coach Blaise Lambiel (15), an upcoming figure skating star who recently won a gold medal at Junior World Championship. Hummel revealed to us that coaching Lambiel had been an option.

WOS: What made you decide to coach Anderson instead of Lambiel?

KH: First of all, I'd like to address that I don't think Blaise's skating is worse than Blaine's. I think they're both amazing on the ice, Blaise has his own way of expressing himself when he dances, which I think is beautiful. The thing is, I believe coach Sylvester is what Lambiel needs right now. She is ruthless and speaks his language, pushes him forward. I have a different way of working.

WOS: Lambiel did come to the United States looking for you, correct?

KH: Yes. And we decided to make it fair, they both competed in a face-off, and Blaine was the winner.

WOS: How has your life changed ever since you decided to become a coach? Is it easier or harder?

KH: It hasn't changed much, to be honest. I still have to show up to practice every morning, I have to do the routine as well. The difference is that I feel much more responsible for everything that goes wrong, my eyes have to be sharper to look for mistakes. I don't think it's easier, no, I think both are equally as hard, but it's just different problems to deal with.

Right after Anderson made an incredible performance of his original song "Warbler On Ice" and left the ice, Kurt Hummel shocked the world by pulling him into a kiss, and by the looks of it, Anderson was just as surprised by the action. When questioned about the status of their relationship, Kurt responded briefly: "Blaine and I have become very close ever since we started working together," he admitted, "But I think everyone should focus on his skating instead of our personal lives."

WOS: Last question, Mr. Hummel, what can we expect for the next event that will happen in your home country? Are you excited to go back to France?

KH: Very. I haven't been there since this all started. You can expect that Blaine and I will work harder than ever before so we can make my country proud.

One of the Best in the World

“If we want more medals, let’s support skateboarding,” said Didal in Filipino in media interviews after her event.

Margielyn Arda Didal is the fourth of five siblings, was born on April 19, 1999 in Lahug, Cebu. Her father job is carpenter while her mother is a vendor selling kwek kwek. She developed her interest in skateboarding when she was just 12 years old. Margielyn born with a silver spoon in her mouth, when she try to ride to a skateboard for the first time.

The place where her mother sells is near to a skate park so every time she goes with her mom to sell, she never loses the urge to play skateboarding.

Since she did not have her own skateboard, she used to borrow from those who were resting. All of a sudden, Margielyn asked by the owner of skateboard if she is a skater and she said. “This is my first time to ride a skateboard”. So, they're surprised that the kid has skills in playing skateboard. They asked Margielyn to try to do a trick. “Apparently, the trick that I did would take half a year or one year to execute,” she uttered. “but it took me only one week to do it.”

She got her first skateboard from her idol Demitrio Cuevas. He gave it to Margielyn at exactly Christmas Eve. “I really have my own skateboard now, I don't have to borrow anymore.”

Margielyn shared her memorable experiences when she was just starting to practice skateboarding, she and her friends were often chased by the police officers and security guards when they caught they're skating to an abandoned areas. At first, Margielyn's parents opposed the sports that she wants. “I really don't want her to play that because I want him to continue her studies.” her father's said. “I used to think that in that sports, it's like you have nothing to gain but to be crippled and get hurt."

At a skate park in Cebu, Margielyn descried by her coach and manager, who gave opportunities for her to participate in local and international tournaments competition. After her 3 months of skating, she finally competed for the first time and got 3rd to 4th placed. Then she finally got champion in her second event. Finally, Margielyn's parents accepted her chosen sport and they we're supportive in Margielyn's back every time she competed.

Margielyn participated to a street league skateboarding in London. It is the largest skate boarding competition event in the world, where she took home the 8th place in the competition. The proud Cebuana's Margielyn, is also the first pinay to be invited in XGames U.S.A 2018. “ I'm proud to be the first Filipina to raise the Philippine flag through skateboarding.”

With Didal's triumph, the Philippines moved up to 16th place in the medal tally and matched the best Asiad gold haul since 2006.

After that, she take a flight to Indonesia to raise the flag of the Philippines in Sea games 2018. This is the first time that the Philippines has participated in the Skateboard Women's Street category in the Asian games.

The night before the Asian games, Didal knew that she can bring home the bacon to the country land, Philippines. Didal dominated the Women's skateboarding street event in Palembang, Indonesia, with a tallied score of 30.4 points to best Isa kaya of Japan with 25.0 points and Bunga Nyimas of host Indonesia with 19.8 points, who took home silver and bronze medals for their respective countries.

Last week 10 Jun, 2021, the espn 5 announced that Skateboarder Margielyn Didal tenth Filipino athlete to qualify for upcoming Tokyo Olympics. “The official announcement of qualified skaters will released after the World Championship Finals in Rome. But Skate Pilipinas announce in their Instagram post that Margielyn Didal earned a slot for the upcoming Tokyo Olympics. Congratulations Margie!
