MDZS fanfic ideas I have that most likely won't go anywhere and are mainly just titles atp
@fandom-trash-goblin ‼️
Wish You Were Sober (Chengxian but not necessarily outright)
Post Sunshot when Wei Wuxian is going out drinking everyday
Jiang Cheng being pissed about that (rightfully so, Jesus Christ)
They still love each other but it's hard when you're a sect leader and your SiC is dodging his responsibility's and by extension YOU
Jiang Cheng feels
Jiang Fengmian bashing
idk really I just felt like sharing
Modern AU Jiang Cheng and Jin Ling road trip
The end of the Summer holidays
And they have to get from Yunmeng to Lanling but Jin Ling's flight has been cancelled so Jiang Cheng has to drive him there
All types of shenanigans, for example:
Car breaks down
There's a storm so they have to stop for the night in this shifty ass motel
Jin Ling's awful (in Jiang Cheng's opinion) music
Jiang Cheng's awful (in Jin Ling's opinion) music
There isn't really anything dramatic or overly emotional about this
Just a bit of a laugh
Jiang Fengmian bashing (idk how but I will fucking get it in there idc)
Zhao Zhuliu/Wen Zhuliu is actually Jiang Cheng's real father AU (thank the Lord he looks like his mother)
Major Jiang Fengmian bashing obvs <3
pretty ooc except for Wen Zhuliu who doesn't really have a personality to mischaracterise
Wen Zhuliu being a bit #suspicious when Jiang Cheng and Wei Wuxian pull up for the Wen indoctrination
Just cause. how can anyone Like That be Jiang Fengmian's son??????
Anyways they're in the cave and Wen Zhuliu refuses to fight Jiang Cheng because by then he's worked out that the boy's birthday is like... suspiciously 9 months away from the last time he and Yu Ziyuan were last Together™
And bby is just like nope
not doing that today
Anyways burning of Lotus Pier and it all goes down the same
EXCEPT
Wen Zhuliu doesn't have anything to do with the death of Yu Ziyuan (if anything he's holding them all back)
Instead of taking his core, Wen Zhuliu takes that child out of Lotus Pier and straight to Wen Qing and renounces the Wen name, going back to Zhao Zhuliu (independent King, we love to see it)
Basically pledges pledges allegiance to Jiang Cheng and kinda follows him around like a guard dog for the entirety of Sunshot
OR
Wen Zhuliu doesn't make the connection of Jiang Cheng potentially being his son until he's got his hand in his chest and is melting Jiang Cheng's golden core
In this AU there'll be some weird thing where you have parts of your parents in your core I don't really wanna explain it
"Jiang Cheng’s golden core was strong for a seventeen year old and was filled with unbridled potential that only the son of the Violet Spider could hold or hope to live up to"
"It spills all over his fingers then onto the floor and he lets it, staring transfixed as his son’s livelihood falls through his fingers"
Basically, Wen Zhuliu gives up his core for Jiang Cheng via Wen Qing and surgery instead of Wei Wuxian and everything else plays out the same minus the demonic cultivation
Jiang Cheng still kills Wen Zhuliu however when he searches his robes he finds a letter addressed "Jiang Wanyin"
Edge of Seventeen (Jiang Cheng Sect Leader succession during Sunshot, potentially Zhancheng 👀)
Pretty much just a character study of Jiang Cheng
Set during the 3-6 months that Wei Wuxian was in the burial mounds
Lan Wangji being there when Wei Wuxian wasn't...
Not a fully fledged idea yet
Jiang Fengmian bashing <3

Book 4: To Trust Is Sometimes To Surrender
Sketching Chapter 1.4.1 - One Mother Meets Another
1. We got to meet the Thenardiers! yay I guess. I missed them. I mean... at least they don't kill a horse from overtalking for four pages. I will not miss that. Victor Hugo knows this so much that he even mentions Tholomyès is completely irrelevant to the story and will never be mentioned again.
2. Fantine is already sickly. Cosette was about 2 when her father abandonned them ten months ago. He didn't even answer her letters. Fantine definitely does not "dream he'll come to her". I know the musical is trying to give her emotional depth by making her rationally know he is an asshole but secretly be in denial, and that's what singing your deepest emotions is about. But like, she is not in denial. She was abandoned and is scarred forever. I guess in the 80s that didn't make for a hit showtune. I blame Claude-Michel Schonberg and Alain Boublil.
EDIT: aparently that's just the english version my bad
3. How come Fantine is wearing a nun's headdress? Did she get any form of help from a nunnery? Questions
4. THAT CART. I LOVE THAT CART. One time I saw this gigantic old abandoned ale mill like 20ft tall and it was exactly the same feeling I had from this cart. Imma post a picture when I get my laptop because it's an awesome. Mill.
5. bby Éponine :D 18 months old Azelma :D
6. They's gonna get all of Cosette's clothes for their daughter they're not even trying to hide that. Fantine pls take Cosette away from there. And don't give them your money.
7. She is so desperate she is entranced by Romantic imagery into giving up her baby to Victor Hugo destiny.
8. What a beautiful book title.

Great use of sources however I wouldn't trust viva or consider them a reliable source of information especially when it comes to sheep.
What would happen if sheep weren't sheared? They would overheat , they would be at more risk of dehydration, skin diseases and ticks. Domestic sheep breeds no longer shed their wool naturally, and wool farming in Britain is no longer profitable, yes balls of wool and pure wool clothes are expensive but the actual fleece that comes from the sheep is worth less than £1 . Wool is fast becoming a by-product or side business dues to the expenses involved - cost of shearing them, preparation of the fleece, transportation etc. Sheep shearing is a necessity for the animals welfare not an exploitation of the animal for money. I have a more in depth post about this on @flora-and-fauna-bby
Another sheep related post by viva that I have a problem with is this one
Even the first sentence "undercover footage from livestock markets" presents misleading information. Livestock markets are public places you go to buy and sell livestock , you don't need to go full 007 to get in and film. Yes the lambs are separated from their mothers , because they are being sold , from the picture they look to be at least 1 month old if not 2 months, lambs start eating solid food a couple of weeks after they're born and by the time they're 4-6 weeks almost 50% of their nutrients come from solid food rather than their mothers milk as the milk production decreases rapidly at around the same time. Lambs tend to stay with their mothers and keep drinking milk for longer than this out of habit and convenience (I mean would you rather find your own food or have mum make you some). Another issue I have with it is the idea that sheep are excellent mothers, which they aren't due to a unique mix of being both too dumb and too smart. I have spent entire nights (6pm - 9am) sat in a lambing shed helping ewes give birth then sorting their lambs out , I've lost count of the number of ewes who reject their lamb , refusing to clean them , kicking them when they try to suckle minutes after they're born. Then theres the issue of what to do with the rejected lambs , sometimes you can persuade the mother to accept them after a while but most of the time you need to find a surrogate, this is usually a ewe who has lost their lamb. If you're quick enough you can usually convince the surrogate that the new lamb is theirs by rubbing the dead lambs placenta on a rejected newborn and putting it in the pen with it, other times if the rejected lamb is older than the dead lamb you need to make it look like its just been born by loosely tying their legs together ,not enough to hurt or stop mobility entirely but to make it look unsteady on its feet, then you also need to rub it with the dead lambs placenta before putting it in the pen with the surrogate , after the lamb has been accepted and is nursing you can remove the ties on its feet, years ago and occasionally in modern times for especially "smart" surrogate ewes farmers would skin the dead lamb and cover the rejected lamb with its skin to convince the surrogate that its their lamb and they should look after it. There is always the option of bottle feeding a lamb however there a certain nutrients in a ewes milk after the lamb is born that it won't get from artificial milk and if there really is no other choice you can always milk that ewe then use that milk to bottle feed the lamb but thats not sustainable for a long time. Another time lambs are separated from ewes is when they're male and aren't going to be castrated (breeding rams) as leaving them in a flock of mostly ewes to grow up would be problematic when the ram reaches sexual maturity and starts trying to mate with the ewes. And no it would not be easier to just remove him when he reaches that age (at least not at the sheep farm I work at) as once the lambs are healthy enough and old enough the sheep are moved from the sheds to their grazing land , on the farm i work at their grazing is on the moorland and they have miles and miles of land they can roam across and hide around.
Imagine trying to find 2, maybe 3 specific lambs in large open areas like this. Its easier and safer (for you and the sheep) for some lambs to be separated and hand raised. This is similar to the reasons for young bullocks being separated from their mothers (thats another long discussion)
Sorry for derailing this a bit but when I saw the possibility of a vegan charity promoting correct information I was excited and then disappointed to find out they're like a less well known peta , there are some good resources on their site however about physical health and other issues just not as much reliable info on sheep.
(I would include sources but the information I stated is first/second hand from expierence)
Hey I have no problem with people being vegan or having specialised diets or talking publicly about them, but if you’re making posts like “[food disallowed by my diet] makes you sick and fat and so you should regard it as toxic and forbidden” you need to tag it with something that my blacklist can catch. Even just ‘dieting’
