"Get ready for season 5, everyone. Because trust me, you guys are not ready for what's coming. So get ready," — Noah Schnapp.
"I think you find out slowly through the season, Will’s kind of love towards Mike and I think it’s a really beautiful thing; there is probably a mutual understanding and an acceptance,” — Finn Wolfhard about Mike’s arc in season 4.
"I think the Duffer brothers figured out, I would imagine, a perfect ending in five. We didn’t even know if we’d do two. So, we’re happy that people still are around and want to watch it. But yeah, I’m excited. Four was huge in scale, but I think I’d like to see the fifth season draw back on more of the dynamics of Season 1 and sort of be a little more contained, but also still be gigantic. I hope we kind of get an ending for each character that’s pretty satisfying for fans," — Finn Wolfhard about season 5.
"I mean, it’s pretty clear this season that Will has feelings for Mike. They’ve been intentionally pulling that out over the past few seasons. Even in Season 1, they hinted at that and slowly, slowly grew that storyline. I think for Season 4, it was just me playing this character who loves his best friend but struggles with knowing if he’ll be accepted or not, and feeling like a mistake and like he doesn’t belong," — Noah Schnapp about Will’s arc is season 4.
"There’s so many different things they have to address. Obviously, we hope for a coming out scene, and I also want to see them address this connection to the Mind Flayer and how that fits into the world. And I’ve always been wondering, why was Will the first victim and the first one captured? I just want to see it all tie in and all work out. So I’m excited to see what happens," — Noah Schnapp about season 5.

Alright y'all it's day 5! It's time for more talk of the gods and the wonderful people who voice them. This voice actor needs no introduction because I've talked about them so much, but I shall introduce them anyway! Today we're talking Aphrodite and the wonderful @totcoc0a
Aphrodite as you might already know is the goddess of love (among other things). In myths, Aphrodite is forcibly married off to Hephaestus in order to stop people from fighting over her. Aphrodite, however, isn't pleased with this arrangement and cheats on Hephaestus with Ares. I wanted to turn that story on its head and give them both more agency, similar to things that had been done with the myth of Hades and Persephone. Aph and Ares being friends who were forced into a marriage just made sense with this idea, giving them the ability to find other partners without adultery as they didn't actually want to be married. I also wanted to explore Aphrodite as demiromantic in this story. She's the goddess of love and is always pictured as desirable, but what of her desires? Her trying to create strong bonds before falling in love felt fitting to her as a character and was something that I hadn't seen explored before so I decided I'd do it myself.
As mentioned up top, Aphrodite is being played but the incredible Tatiana Gefter! I met Tot last year when she auditioned for my other show, @thefringespod. They fully knocked their audition out of the park and became the show's Marigold (another love goddess, I swear I'm not typecasting you Tot). When I started to turn this idea from a book idea to an audiodrama idea, I immediately started writing Aph with Tot's voice in mind. There is just something so magical about Tot's voice that I had to write another show for her and hope that she would say yes. And luckily for me, they did say yes. They're bringing such a life to Aphrodite and I can't wait for y'all to hear it.
In addition to being in both of my shows, you can hear Tot in her own show, @souloperatorpod which ripped my heart in half (it's incredibly good y'all) as well as The Department of Variance of Somewhere, Ohio, WOE.BEGONE, Wake of Corrosion, and a bunch of other incredible shows because she's so talented
If you would like to support Tot's work in Forged Bonds along with the rest of our amazing cast, you can check out our crowdfunder on indiegogo!
And to Tot specifically: I'm not sure what higher power I believe in but I know for a fact it was a blessing to meet you. You are an incredible friend and a ridiculously talented voice actor and writer. I'm so fucking proud of you and cant believe how lucky I am to be your friend

Today is a very exciting day! The incredible @grottopod has joined The Rusty Quill Network! Not only is this a show I adore with my whole heart, it's also a show that has my friends in it which means I get to love my friends on main again hehehe
We have to start where the show does, which means we're talking about @athansmusic ! Athan is ridiculously talented. Like. Everything he does bursts with talent and care and amazingness. You would never have guessed that The Grotto was his first podcast but it is and it's amazing. His music also is phenomenal I absolutely adore all of it, both in and out of The Grotto. I met Athan through The Grotto and have been lucky enough to get to work with him and call him a friend. Athan I'm incredibly proud of you. You're like the cool older brother I never had and I'm so happy to know you. You've made an absolutely stunning show and it deserves all of the attention it's getting and then some. Congratulations on joining RQ! I can't wait to see what this means for The Grotto
Up next is the wonderful @doomedbythenarrativ ! Lyssa is another friend I met through The Grotto and I feel so lucky to have had that happen. Not only is she ridiculously talented, they're also remarkably kind and an incredible friend. There really isn't much that Lyssa can't do- she sings, she voice acts, she's got a master's degree, she writes, she's a showrunner on a podcast, she's just super fucking cool. Getting to know them over the past almost a year has been the best and I adore them so much. I'm so lucky to get to work with them and see everything else they have coming. Lyssa I'm so fucking proud of you and everything you've accomplished! I can't wait to see what comes next
And of course there's @taytayheyhey who is one of my dearest friends. Tay's the entire reason I started listening to The Grotto to begin with- I'm the luckiest person ever because I get to work with him on 2 shows (right now at least, more to come for sure) and working with him led to me learning about The Grotto. Tay is the textbook definition of talented: a remarkable voice actor, amazing singer, writes and does sound design, and is my favorite streamer. He's one of my favorite people in this world and I'm so lucky to know him and have him in my shows. Tay "proud" doesn't even begin to describe how I feel. You've done incredible things and are gonna keep doing incredible things and I can't wait to see them. I'm unbelievably happy for you and Lyssa and Athan, yall deserve this so much
Athan, Lyssa, and Tay are three of my favorite people on this planet and I'm so excited for them and everything that's coming with The Grotto. I love y'all so much and can't wait for everyone to see the amazing things y'all are doing
#the grotto#grottopod#the grotto podcast#i love my friends so much yall#and if my friends are reading these tags: GET LOVED IDIOTS#pine throws thoughts into the void of tumblr

Having listened to the Graphic Audio full-cast audobook for All Systems Red, it was fun but I have some thoughts about the voice acting and direction. So now I’m just daydreaming about “if I had Billionaire Money I would buy the audio rights to TMBD and direct and produce another full cast audio version with voice actors handpicked and paid lavishly by Me.”
The cast being:
All Systems Red:
Murderbot: Kevin R. Free is the voice of Murderbot to a lot of people. I would think very hard about this but it would be a foundational return to form. However I feel like I want to reach out and find a non-binary VA because it's a niche that's been tragically underrepresented in Murderbot VAs. I joked before about Vico Ortiz playing live-action Murderbot but do they want to try their hand at voice acting?
Mensah: Cecilia Lynn-Jacobs. Voices Captain Lovelace on Wolf 359. Has incredible talent and range and does the Intrepid Galactic Explorer so well.
Pin-Lee: Emily Woo Zeller. An audiobook narrator I've consistently liked.
Ratthi: Stephen Dookie. He plays the part of Polites in Epic: The Musical and he's excellent in a very sweet, upbeat, friendly way.
Gurathin: Sungwon "ProZD" Cho. I'm picturing somewhere in the range of his Miles Edgeworth voice for this.
Arada: Michelle "Vixy" Dockrey. She's a singer not a VA but her voice sounds so nice.
Overse: Tanja Milojevic. Her range is incredible.
Bharadwaj: Rukhmani Desai (Captain Tripathi, The Strange Case of Starship Iris. She has that calm, reasonable, rational, desperately kind character voice she plays well in Starship Iris that I think would go well for Bharadwaj)
Volescu: Zach Valenti. The vibes are right.
Additional voices by Tanja Milojevic and Zach Valenti. Yes all of them.
Artificial Condition:
ART: Janelle Monáe and I mean it
Tapan: ItMe of InCo Podcast
The ComfortUnit: also ItMe because an important part of listening to faer acting is realizing in awe how fae voices so many characters at once and make them all sound distinct.
Tlacey: kinda thinking Ariela Rotenberg. she does smugly confidently evil very well. However we cannot discount casting ItMe for this role also
Additional voices by Tanja Milojevic and Zach Valenti.
Rogue Protocol:
Don Abene: Emma Sherr-Ziarko. She also deserves to be an intrepid space leader again.
Miki: ItMe again in InCo Season 2 Updated SAWA mode
Wilken: me. I want a part. I could totally be a badass evil space assassin
Gerth: does Gerth even have any lines.
Additional voices by Tanja Milojevic and Zach Valenti.
Exit Strategy:
Serrat: Zach Libresco. this casting + Janelle Monáe as ART were what drove me to make this post in the first place.
The Combat SecUnit: Ellen McLain in GLaDOS mode. All 2 lines it has.
Network Effect:
Amena: Ishani Kanetkar (The Strange Case of Starship Iris, The Godshead Incidental, excellent VA for a proud and curious but scared young person)
Iris: Jordan Cobb (Janus Descending, Primordial Deep, excellent VA for a gritted-teeth calm scientist in a strange and dangerous place)
Seth: Avery Brooks (I know it is not the 90s anymore. but. Captain Sisko. I can imagine <3 )
Martyn: Alexander Siddig / Siddig El-Fadil (Dr. Bashir). They're TV actors but! I want them as the Ship Captain Husbands
The rest of ART's crew: other podcast VAs I love who I haven't come up with a role for yet. Kristen DiMercurio, Beth Eyre, James Oliva.
Supervisor Leonide: Claudia Christian (Commander Ivanova on Babylon 5 <333 )
Eletra: Michaela Swee who is very busy working at An Actual Hospital but I have a billion dollars in this dream scenario so I can pay her to take a day and record like 4 lines
Ras: Zach Valenti. This is very important.
Three: Jackie Andrews who plays R. J. McCabe on Starship Iris and Elinor Lopez on The Pasithea Powder has the right Vibes For This
Zach Valenti as the Additional Voice of every goon and target who gets the shit scared out of them and/or dies.
Fugitive Telemetry:
Indah: Molly Olguin maybe. she could Be Indah. Absolutely means we need Jackie Hedeman to have a role in FT too.
Tifany: Michelle Agresti (Wolf 359, Arden)
Aylen: Tracey Sayed (also Arden)
Jollybaby, Tellus, Balin: I would open the floor to the delightful Murderbot fandom. Who wants to voice a Preservation bot
Additional voices by--well you know the drill.
#The Murderbot Diaries#fancast#ItMe InCo Creator I hope you're okay with me tagging you. I don't know your name#this is a sign for everyone to listen to Wolf 359; The Strange Case of Starship Iris; InCo; Arden; The Pasithea Powder; and Janus Descendin#whoof I put way too much time and effort into this

for the fic writer ask meme: 11, 15, 16, 26?
Hi Swan! Thanks for sending in an ask <333 (I think you're very cool and talented so whenever you talk to me I'm like. Whoa!!!)
11. What's an idea for a fic you've had that you'll probably never write?
OKAY SO I was talking with @lucienne-thee-librarian once and I came up with a Unity Kincaid x Desire of the Endless human AU. Desire (my favorite human AU name for them is Desmond) is a spy and they're supposed to seduce Unity, scion of a powerful and politically influential family. Desmond's been in the business for quite some time, they know their shit, they have a reputation to uphold. And then Unity Kincaid happens to them, and she's like nothing they expected her to be.
Desmond is fucked.
Title: Code Name Desire
Reasons why I will never actually write this: I am hilariously ill-equipped to write ANY kind of spy shenanigans. I can barely hash out what Lucienne does in her work day when I write her fics. Also, I would rather microwave my entire head than try to write any work of fiction regarding U.S. patriotism and/or British politics. Given the nationalities of Desire and Unity's actors, that would be a major stumbling block in attempting to get this story off the ground.
15. What are some of your favorite tropes to write?
*cups hands over mouth* HURT/COMFOOOOOOOORT!!!! That's my bread and butter. Also I have to stop myself from inserting a forehead touch into 90% of my fics.
16. What are you favorite characters to write?
Well. Y'see. There's a certain woman who is the steward of every story ever written or dreamt, who is vibrant and grounded and sure of herself and exceptional and I just think she's. Very neat. Her name is Lucienne, did you know?
Additionally, Calliope is very, very dear to me.
26. What fic are you proudest of?
Someone asked this earlier and I used that opportunity to talk about "hacia el mar, un lucero: recuérdalo", which is certainly an incredibly special work to me. But another one I'm proud of is "i carried this for years." It was the first fic where I explored Lucienne's trauma and how she gives herself the space to hold it, to not just shove it away or dismiss it in the face of--to her eyes--"larger" issues. And on a technical level, I think a lot of the actual prose in that story is pretty solid as well!

"I don't know if there's many actors who like looking at themselves on camera, maybe I'm wrong. I've seen it, I've seen - I've seen it, I was kind of; I was completely knocked out, I was completely kind of emotionally winded by the whole experience. It, it does leave you kind of in tatters, you know? Yeah."
"You know I was talking to Matt Damon about this because he had to do very similar equations in Good Will Hunting, and it becomes kind of like hieroglyphics, you know? It was very satisfying to do it and very satisfying to learn as I wrote. I had a vague, conceptual kind of understanding of what, of what I was doing, but I remember the first time I got to write the, the equation - I'd be practicing for months and months and months - and then Chris just turned the camera on me and not on the board so you never even see it."
"Oh that's interesting. Yeah that's interesting because normally I do have a playlist for, for every film, but for this one I, I didn't - yeah, I didn't. I think because it was so intellectual and there was so much weight - I mean he was, he was very into the arts, Oppenheimer; I mean like he really appreciated music, he wrote poetry, you know, he was, he was a big reader, spoke so many languages. But no I, actually for this one I didn't; I don't think I had enough room in my brain."
"Oh gosh. Gosh, that's a very difficult question. Oh, I don't know. I, I - you always hope that there's one film you make that touches someone and kind of speaks to them directly and that, that can be held up as, as a work of art, if you can do one of those I'd be very proud."
"Yeah, I actually sleep pretty well. The - we worked at such a furious pace on this film, like we shot it in 57 days or something, like we were flying all over America and I, I - so I slept, I slept, I slept pretty well when I, when I could, yeah."
"Oh I don't - I don't know. You see like I, you know many of his contemporaries said he was the most brilliant of them all - of the men of, of that time in physics; that he was the most brilliant. I don't know, you, you, apparently he had a very, very dry sense of humour, he made a great Martini; I'd probably keep it on that level, yeah. Yeah, yeah."
"You get used to it. I mean I'm lucky that I've kind of, I'm a, I'm a Nolan veteran so I'm used to the, the cameras and we have an amazing DP, Hoyte van Hoytema, so you - you get used to it, you know; you get very, very used to it. They do make an incredible racket when they're rolling, but again you just get used to that."
"He was busy; he's very much in demand these days. But yeah, Rob, off the back of Tenet, where we refer to Oppenheimer and I, and I wrote a thing about this incredible moment that, that Oppenheimer and the scientists of the Manhattan Project had where they could not completely eliminate the possibility that when they triggered that first gadget, that first atomic device, they might start the chain reaction that would destroy the world. And that, we use that as metaphor for Tenet which, which Rob was in, and as a wrap gift he gave me a book of Oppenheimer's speeches from the 1950s, where you're reading these great intellects trying to deal with the massive consequences of the way in which they've changed life forever for all of us. And I really got, got hooked and got hooked on the story."
"You know, I think I mean all of these big gags from, you know, stuff we did to Dark Knight, Tenet and obviously Oppenheimer with the Trinity Test, you're always focused in on that moment where your massive team of talented people have brought it together for some giant event that there is the limitations of theory; you've theorized about it, you've planned it, but you never quite know how it's going to go off, and so you have to build in massive safety margins and, and all of that. But there is incredible tension leading up to that and, for example in The Dark Knight where we destroyed the hospital and Heath, as the Joker is walking out of that hospital, that was a one-time thing. That building was collapsed at the end of it and, and we were done. And so there's incredible focus and tension from everybody and doing the Trinity Test in Oppenheimer in camera, doing real world effects and having us out in the desert with the actors waiting for this incredible moment, it gave us you know, some small feeling of, of what it must've been like to be there for the, the original detonation and it was - it was thrilling and terrifying and beautiful and dangerous all in equal measure."
"I, you know, I am a pretty good sleeper these days but no, sometimes you get a lot of thoughts going on, you, you're trying to wrestle with all those things and yeah, you'll, you'll process them and that'll keep you awake sometimes. But I trust that process; that you need to be working things out in advance and then you get to set or you hit the typewriter, or whichever bit of the process you're engaged with, refreshed and, and having thought a lot ahead of time about what you need, because my job on set is to provide answers. You know, I have to be there to answer everybody's questions and wrangle things and everything, so preparation's everything and yeah, some of that preparation does happen in the middle of the night when you'd rather be sleeping, yes."
"I couldn't possibly answer that other than by saying probably the latest one, whatever I've just done. Yeah, I mean that's the thing, you don't know; I mean the thing with every film is - for me the film's not finished until the audience finishes it. You know, you put it out to the audience and you're in a dialogue with them and they're telling you what it is you've done, and that's when you feel what the movie is and how it might resonate in the future. And you know, my hope for every film is that it sticks with people in some way."
"Oh no, I don't, I don't really notice it that much anymore. I can't - I think maybe it's just like you become a creature of habit, of trying to block that out and maybe I was just sucked into the vortex of Cillian's eyes too much to notice anything: I was just like: "That's all you see.""
"Also Hoyte, our, our DP, and he operates; he's very - he's very unassuming, he's very -"
"He sort of disappears, and Chris also is not someone who hides behind the monitors, he doesn't even have monitors -"
"No, he's right there."
"He'll stand by the camera and Chris is like a tall guy, but you somehow don't see him either. I don't know; there's so much focus on set, that's what I think is really it. There's no chaos, there's so much focus that even as you're doing the scene whether there's a massive IMAX camera or Chris Nolan right there, it's focused on you, so you just are concentrating."
"Well there's also an intimacy like, you know, you're kind of in a little group, in a huddle that it's like you're there with Hoyte and Chris and talking, and then suddenly Hoyte's got the camera on his shoulder and -"
"I don't even know how he puts it on his shoulder."
"I know that camera's gotta be 100, it's 85, something crazy like that."
"He's just permanently in back pain, he must be."
"Nobody's - you don't complain on a Chris Nolan set, ever."
"Drinking? I mean I was sort of just, I was practicing off set, but I wouldn't do it on set."
"Yeah; I don't think you can play drunk that well if you're drunk."
"I've tried it once; I've tried it once. Yeah, not on this one - years ago, and it was a disaster."
"There's a famous story about Brando doing that."
"And about Robert Shaw on Jaws."
"Oh really?"
"Yeah."
"Brando went down to a beach and said: "Come and get me when you're ready to shoot" and he was just -"
"Was he wasted?"
"Passed out. That's the story; I don't know that, if it's, if it's -"
"The amazing speech in Jaws that Robert Shaw does, they - they tried it one night and he'd been drinking, and they went and re-shot the whole thing the next day, because Robert Shaw woke up the next day and he said to Spielberg: "How badly did I embarrass myself?" and Spielberg said: "Not monumentally, would you like to do it again?" and he goes "Yes." And he did it again - and of course, it's the best monologue in history."
"This one."
"Yeah, this one would be right up there. I mean, there's not a bigger story to happen to humanity in the last, you know, in the history of humanity. So I don't know, I don't know what bigger story there would be to tell."
"I'm so proud of this one. Yeah - maybe this one."
"I feel like my problems are so insignificant compared to Oppenheimer's, you know?"
"But what Opp - what, what his problems wrought on and you know, his beautiful brain kind of wrought on the rest of us, that keeps me up at night. That's certainly one of the things I think about, and I think about it a lot more now having done the film and having kind of re-engaged with this. Because it's that kind of thing when you start to think about it you go: "I don't want to think about that, it's - it's too much", but it's there and it's been there, kind of looming over us, for, for eighty years now."
"Well I think, I mean to play a character like her was interesting because she's - I mean I love being a mother, I think Kitty was not a natural nurturer, I don't think she should have been a mother. I think she had great ambition for intellectual pursuits that she had to contort and limit to make sure his, his were fostered. And she did it happily; that was sort of what was expected of her at the time, but clearly you see a deterioration in the character, of that brilliant brain sort of going to waste at the ironing board in that isolation of Los Alamos. And so I think as a parent, playing her and how crap of a mother she was, was tough you know; I always feel bad like not being sweet with kids on screen, it was just brutal."
"But you were very sweet with them after that, after cut."
"I mean off set, I'd be singing like Peppa Pig and stuff and, you know, and they were so cute those kids; they were so lovely, so I just had to be so sweet with them when the cameras weren't rolling. And then when the cameras were rolling, I was sort of in eye-roll mode. I was like: "These poor babies.""
"No, God no, no, no. I, I never did that. We were laughing about it, it's like - it's a different language; and you just look at it and memorize it like it's hieroglyphics and you, and you try to get it right and, and the technical advisor looks, it was like: "You nailed it" and you're like: "Good, never make me do that again.""

I forgot to ask l. who are your favourite french actors ? Regardless of the field they work (TV, cinema, web, theatre, etc) qui sont tes préfères ? Et qui tu voulais voir en Dix Pour Cent Saison 5? (I hope m'y grammar is not terrible in there 😌)
that's such a hard question i crush on so many actors plssssss
but the first one that comes to mind is definitely marina foïs, i dream of having her on dix pour cent she's such a bicon & a milf........ she would actually get me invested in the show ksjksj
loml i just love her so much she's a comedic genius with a mean lesbian energy™ i-
obvi i pretty much dedicate this blog to antoine de caunes, also known on tumblr as "the eurotrash guy that isn't jean-paul gaultier", he used to be super big on french television as a talk show comedian/host, then he directed some movies & acted in a few stuff, now he has a radio show and he's so gorgeous, can you believe this man is almost 70??? lies. liesss. edouard baer also has the same vibe but he's a more "serious" actor (in the sense that he has way more acting credits and he's also super active in theater). both of them make me laugh so hard & they're also super talented with words??
i'm just gonna write down a bunch of other people's names because i don't want to make another super long post when i'm just gonna gush over them ksjksjskj but also:
alain chabat (literally a father figure to me, he's a comedy genius and invents such stupidly inventive concepts, it's amazing. i think his movie RRRrrrr!! is the funniest piece of french culture ever)
omar sy (i grew up watching his hilarious sketches on tv and now he's gone international & acts in super huge stuff, i'm so proud of my baby)
pierre niney (he's probably the one french actor from this generation that i just know is going to remain an official icon™ of french cinema, like in 30 years he's gonna be as big as belmondo or delon, for sure. his acting is so incredible??)
virginie efira (she's the loml, she started out on tv as well and now she's making it big in hollywood, good for her!!! she's probably the cutest, most genuine person in french cinema and she deserves the world)
eleonore costes (she's mostly in web contents and she writes a lot of interesting ones too, & also actresses are super rare in comedy on the web in france, idk if it's the same in other countries but anyway, lolo costes is the 1 french content creator that always comes to my mind first)
i have a lot of other favs but yeah i'm gonna stop there kjskjsksj most of those people are or have been involved in comedy work for a while, i believe that's my fav genre in french cinema for now,,, (also drama actors are often super problematic so i rarely like them 💀)
#asks#also don't worry your grammar is totally fine and i understood you easily 👌#obvi it's not *flawless* but french is such a hard language i actually admire you for learning it and trying to use it in convos#i could never have learned it if i wasn't born here istg it's a nightmare language i'm lucky af 💀#also apart from *1* missing accent and a tiny error in conjugation you're literally doing perfect???#i'm pretty sure i've made more mistakes than that when i answered in english lmao#marina foïs#adc

for got7's 7th anniversary, here are 7 reasons why i'm here to stay to support them for life. 🐣💚
#7YearsWithGOT7 #갓세븐포에버_아가새는어디안가 #GOT7 #갓세븐
1. They are 7 insanely talented individuals.
Like literally, I have no words. When I first met them and saw their videos online, I was amazed by not only their visuals, their vocals, and their difficult choreographies that they manage to dance perfectly in synch. They literally scream king shit behavior when they get on that stage. Their stage presence is out of this world! These 7 young men continue to astound us with their ability to write and produce their own songs.
2. The bond between them is genuine and pure.
Just a little background, I first met GOT7 on weekly idol. Their humor got me hooked, however, in that short span of time, I was able to see how much they're having fun with each other. It's not just the jokes that they make with each other, it's not just about how they make fun of jaebeom or how much they laugh whenever jackson cracks up a joke. It's different. The friendship that they have goes beyond what we see on stage and in front of the cameras. Their brotherhood? It's real. Seven or never, seven or nothing. That alone speaks volume. For me that's what sets them apart from the other groups (no offense please, I'm just appreciating what they have as a group).
3. Their passion for music and arts.
Like I said, GOT7 has an incredible talent with writing or producing their songs. It feels different listening to a song knowing that they made it. Also, not only are they great singers and performers, but some of the members like Jinyoung and (soon)Youngjae are great actors as well. Jaebeom was able to act before and I really do hope that Mark will be given the chance to act as well. Manifesting this so that they can engage in other activities which will make them happier as an artist.
4. They deserve better.
The fact that they have been mistreated in their supposed company wrecks my heart. The amount of times that they were held back, they truly deserved better than that. I'm just glad that now they are free!!! They can finally show their potential and grow even further as artists.
5. They're humble.
Despite the success that they have achieved, GOT7 makes sure that they stay humble. Other artists are about keeping the image that they have, however, GOT7 for me is very real. They show the cameras who they really are. They are kind to the people around them. Aside from the fact that they are pretty loud especially when they're together, even the staffs are astounded with the humility that this group is showing. This makes me proud as an ahgase.
6. They love their ahgases so much.
Probably my favorite reason! We know in our hearts that GOT7 loves us as much as we love them. The fanservice that they give is out of this world. They interact with their fans as much as they could on twitter (shoutout to Bambam who's yet to give me attention on twitter lol). Even Jackson has his own fair shares of fantalk. The way Yugyeom starts his captions on instagrams with #igot7. The way Jaebeom was pranked by ahgases on his birthday. The assurance that Mark gave us on that chaotic day! Their love for their fanbase is real, genuine. It makes us feel like we're not just their fans but we're really a family and we're in this together. Forever.
7. This is just the beginning.
Finally, the end of their contract in their previous company marks not the end, but a new beginning for them. GOT7 is still and will always be GOT7. Now that there's nothing holding them back, they can finally conquer the world and show them who they really are. We may have tough times but I'm still going to support them. Through good times and the bad. We're a team. I will always be their #1 supporter and I can't wait for what they're about to achieve in the near future.
Happy 7th anniversay, GOT7! Thank you for inspiring me to be a better person everyday. I love you forever.

Well we've reached public release of the @souloperatorpod mid-season finale and I'm still unwell about it so it's spoiler thread time let's go!
Tessa leaving felt impossible when she decided to leave after episode 9. Episode 10 proved that it was, in fact, impossible. Introducing a literal creature, clearly massive and monstrous, making you think that *that's* going to be the threat of the episode only to have Tessa step on a fucking bear trap?? Absolutely evil and so fucking well done on Tot's part. It's such good writing that I can't even be mad but I'm still screaming internally. I know Tot well enough to know this was the same bear trap that was sent to Tessa. There's no way it wasn't. It's a brilliant bit of foreshadowing because you truly do not know why a bear trap would've been sent until you hear them screaming as their leg is crushed. Tot is too good at screaming and crying in pain in podcasts, I will never emotionally recover. Like it HURT to hear, she's that good.
Tessa sending away Lucy, trying to get this loyal dog to leave so she doesn't get got by the monster broke my heart. They're so content to die and it hurts me so bad. And then Tot brings Dean into it? When I heard Dean I lost my mind I wanted him to be alive but he wasn't. There's no bringing him back, but he's still trying to save Tessa anyway. "It wasn't your fault. Tell my brother it wasn't his fault either" Tot what if I sob? What if I scream and cry and throw up?
And somehow this wasn't even the part that hurt me most! No THAT honor is reserved for when Nate gets there, trying his best to save Tessa. "I want to die." "I won't let you." It's been a week and I'm still unwell over this I mean seriously Tot how could you do this to me? And then to have Nate actually listen to Tessa and realize that she wasn't the cause of Dean's death while she's bleeding out in his arms? Now he feels responsible for both his brother AND his friend's death! And while I doubt Tessa is dead, Nate doesn't know that right now and I'm going to lose my mind over it I mean Tot. Tot. You didn't have to do that.
This episode perfectly punctuates the end of an incredible first half of the season. It asks more questions than it answers but in the best possible way. Tot's writing is masterful and is brought to life so well by them and their cast, I could, have, and will weep from it. Soul Operator is going on a hiatus after this to finish up the rest of season 1. There has never been a better time to listen to this show and everything it has to offer. I'm so incredibly proud of @totcoc0a and everything she's accomplished with the first half of the season
Tot not only are you an incredibly talented writer and voice actor, you're also a marvelous friend and I feel so lucky to know you every day of my life. The first half of the season destroyed me in the best way and I can't wait to see how you continue to break me
This concludes our last Soul Operator thread for a while! If you're not listening to Soul Operator nows the time to start. And if you ARE listening to Soul Operator, please come scream about it with me I love it so much
