....I have another bunch of questions BUT they should be the last large set :D No pressure for these answers, just see what you feel/think at the moment for them? (thank you for your patience with these, I'm chewing on ideas at the moment and these questions really help!)

What kind of relationship does Xiang have with Nat? Was it a friends to lovers deal, or a slow burn yearning, the tug and gnaw of attraction, the draw and fire of passion; or...? 2. How would you describe how Xiang and Nat fit together, as a couple, as partners; has it changed over their relationship so far? 3. What drew Xiang to Nat? What's his favourite thing(s) about her, something that makes him smile/that he holds close to the chest (or does he tell her about it? He seems a little more like someone whose love language is subtler than Nat, who will tease and flirt and say a lot of her feelings. For Xiang, is it actions, maybe? What would you say is his love language?) 4. What drew Nat to Xiang? What's her favourite thing about him? What's a detail she might have noticed and hoarded like a secret, a treasure? 5. Do you have any songs that make you think of Xiang? :D (and a supplementary question - is it music he would to as well haha??) 6. What does Xiang want, most of all? (Besides Nat hahaha - I mean, life wise). What does he think he wants, is there a particular goal he is working towards, or a nebulous thing he wants, someday? (Does he just want to be happy? 1. He was sure he liked her the moment she walked through the door. He didn't make it really obvious at first, but with every interaction they had, his emotions started to build up. He knew that pursuing a relationship with a vampire is quite intense, but she made him feel so much until it exploded and he couldn't resist anymore.

2. They're like yin and yang. They are the same but so different at the same time. An example is that even though Xiang is not the most social person, he knows how to make people like him, not in a manipulative way lol.

3. Her smile. Sounds too cheesy but it's the truth. He can't get over her smile. His darkest day can be saved by her beautiful smile. Also, being that charming is a plus. Yes, you're right. He's most subtle with his love language (Loves holding hands tho) and I'm not saying he doesn't say 'I love you,' but it's something he doesn't need to say or doesn't see the need to as both of them are aware of it, but he understands that sometimes, you just need to hear it from someone you love. He loves having quality time with her and of course, the teasing. That goes both ways. Being able to be fluffy and funny is something they both really appreciate. He might not show much of it when they're together, even when he's having an emotional rave inside, but he will do anything to prove it to her. Like gifting her things she might want or need, or going with her to some social events he definitely doesn't like.

4. Maybe it was the aura he has, like he can be trusted, or maybe the way he can put her at ease with only his gaze. Something she noticed is when Xiang is lost in thoughts, he usually strokes his chin and starts pacing around. Sometimes he even bumps into things and swears in his language (Spanish and sometimes Chinese). She always giggles and pats him on the shoulder, making him turn around to face her. She takes that time to cup his cheeks and tell him how much she loves him.

5. He usually listens to blues. He wants a bit of relaxation after a long day.

6. He wants to live in a peaceful house next to the ocean. Not only that, but with all the people he loves as neighbors and a workshop where he can craft and sell his art online.

7. A therapist and maybe to chill a bit. He is aware and he might go... Maybe after finding a solution to this new case...

I often scroll through tumblr to look through the art tips tag and honestly it's so fun finding neat little art hacks and colour theory tips that I always want to try out when I can hop on my laptop!

Even if I might feel a bit like "ooh damn when will I become as good?" But I also want to try and channel my feelings into motivation, to continue to have fun and try out new things and develop through this.

This whole art path is so scary to me at times, because there is this? Responsibility I feel like, that I have when I post my bus art online, how would people react? Did I have fun drawing this? How will I continue my goals?

Since I want to try and shake up the whole bus community in some way, not like in a bad way but to perhaps make it feel more interesting. I feel like there is a lack of creativity or a lack of artists compared to the amount of bus manufacturers and bus companies you have who try and sell busses, make them interesting to people etc, but how do you reach people? For me it feels like it mostly just reaches people who are already interested in busses and the bus companies always feel sterile or very cooperate (I think I have already mentioned this in a previous post, I often repeat myself)

I am already seeming to have small success, I don't know how to call it or how to feel because this is a very new territory for me.

In my discord server some of my active members started drawing much more, which makes me feel very honored that they're inspired to do so because of me. Some even made bus animations or silly bus drawings or comics. Heck when setra announced their new bus we had some fun talking about it, and one of my members drew fanart of it which is amazing.

Like they're probably the first and only person who made fanart of this setra bus, okay there is official artworks (somewhere), but I'd like to point out that bus fanart is waaay more rare than your usual plane/train or idk fanart of animated shows.

I can't stress enough how busses don't get enough love, there is this universal thing of people unaware of them.

So it's obviously one of the reasons I started my tumblr and Instagram account, hopefully after my apprenticeship I will start my youtube stuff which seems way more scary. Because at the end of the day I am a nobody, who is dreaming of changing something. But of course I don't want to forget to have fun and enjoy what I do, there are so many silly bus stories I want to share.

Tho it feels somewhat scary to do the first step, because I didn't think that I'd be standing here doing this myself. But who else is gonna draw busses? I can't wait years until someone random appears to draw what I want to see. So I'll do it myself (still scary tho, getting outside your comfort zone LOL)

Because I feel like there is something that those bus manufacturers/companies are not acknowledging over the potential . And I am here to change that, however I can with my silly and messed up ideas. haha

I am currently taking a week break from discord so that I can collect myself again and focus on other things. And also to draw BUS

update, because why not!!! I've now officially beaten ShB (well, strictly speaking I still have to complete the quest, but that's just because the servers went down for maintenance before I was done with the cutscenes lol). all in all, I think ShB is probably the greatest experience I've had with a game to date. it's hard to put into words exactly what made it hit that strongly, and I think a lot of it honestly has to do with my hundreds of hours of investment into this world and its characters. but there's more to it than that. I had hundreds of hours invested going into Stormblood (altho obviously fewer than ShB, because that's how time works lol), and I came away from it honestly feeling very meh, despite enjoying its highs. so what's the difference?? gonna put the rest of my thoughts after the break because I have friends I wanna bully into playing this game so I should worry about spoilers lol. short version is, game very good, and super well done in basically every way.

I can't fucking wait to experience Endwalker, but also I'm gonna make myself wait, because after I clear the 5.x patch content (or maybe before? haven't decided yet), I'm gonna take a break to play a couple other games, specifically Baldur's Gate 3 (because it'll almost definitely be my goty) and the final couple chapters of Lost Judgment (because RGG Gaiden comes out in like a week and a half???). there's no way I can let it sit for much longer than that (and I may even get the itch before I'm done with BG3, we'll see), but I've gotta knock out some of my shelved backlog, and XIV is my forever game, so that'll never clear a slot

the performances were also incredible. I mean, the performances are always incredible since the HW recast, but I do think they're extra noteworthy this time. I mentioned Feo Ul, and maybe I was being slightly hyperbolic, but I do genuinely really love them, and they're one of my favorite characters in the game now. I hope we get to see them again post-ShB. I know the odds of that are pretty low, but lore-wise it'd already be justified at any time, and it'd make me so happy. other than the usual cast of Scions, who are always great, I obviously have to say that Emet-Selch was just phenomenal. they really said "what if we had a funny little guy follow you around, and 90% of the time he's the sassiest bitch you've ever seen, but the rest of the time he's super fucked up and sad. wouldn't that be rad?" and they were 1000%, it was rad, and a lot of that is on just how good the performance is

anyway, lightly spoilery stuff: I think the biggest difference for me between SB and ShB is the focus and intentionality of the story. I felt pretty much all along that SB feels like two separate expansion ideas mashed together. I think the end product is still very good (there's no part of XIV from 2.0 on that I'd call bad, they're all just varying degrees of good lol), but I can't help but wonder whether an expansion just about Ala Mhigo or just about the far east would've been a better experience. what they ended up with was: go to Ala Mhigo and fight a bit -> go to the east and do the whole story there -> go back to Ala Mhigo and wrap up. meanwhile, despite having more differing areas than SB, ShB keeps everything building towards a single goal the entire time. honestly those disparate areas actually work to its favor, since you exploring a whole new world and seeing how different yet similar it is to Eorzea. tbh I almost want to say that ShB feels like it'd be the perfect new player experience for an MMO, but that's not really true. so much about what makes it compelling requires you to already know the world and the characters. the big reveals (which I won't talk about in specific, even tho this is a several years old expansion, just to be safe) genuinely blew me away, and I'm so so excited to see how EW builds on them

and of course I can't sing the praises of ShB without talking about the music. I mean, Soken is already on my short list of greatest composers of our time (that full list btw, in no particular order, is Lena Raine, Soken, Yoko Shimamura, Darren Korb, and Keiichi Okabe), but he really outdid himself on ShB. obviously the vocal tracks are fantastic, surpassed only by Footfalls (which I'm not even supposed to know about yet), but also a ton of the instrumental tracks are real standouts. (shout-out Sands of Amber)

tbh I could keep gushing about this for a while, but it's already been the better part of an hour since Square Enix so rudely kicked me off, so I should really really get some sleep. I think my plan moving forward is to knock out the patch content, write a review for backloggd (because apparently I'm more capable of putting my thoughts into words than I thought lol), and play the games I mentioned earlier. so look forward to me being extremely Karlach brained in the near future instead of Y'shtola brained lmao

ok, I'm still not quite all the way done with Shadowbringers (up to lvl 79 quests tho!!), but I just wanna say that Feo Ul is the greatest character ever created. everything about them and their energy is so incredible. they could so easily be annoying, but instead they're incredibly endearing and funny

ShB in general is just a masterclass in character writing, to say nothing of the actual plot. and I've still got EW ahead of me after I beat it!! what a fucking incredible game

maybe it's placing too much emphasis on one singular moment but the moment that cemented the likelihood of tk as a couple and not j*k*k for me was during the be album dinner meeting 2008** about the lgo mv. at the end of the video, jm is clearly gesturing for a box of corn dogs. jk picks up a box and instead of passing it over to jm, he carries it back to his seat and opens the box angled towards tae

the ptd lv clip of tae asking only jk for a bottle of water (and pouting when he doesn't get it) has the same vibe. tae honey, you have 4 hyungs+jm walking around on stage who would gladly pass you a bottle

earlier in the same 2008** video, tae gets overwhelmed and curls his body inwards towards jk at one point as he tries to consolidate his thoughts. it reminds me of s.w.z. muster where tae thinks he forgot his phone and immediately runs to jk

5. it could have been complete bs when they talked about it in their v.live but the idea of tae and jk practicing their card throwing for their grammys performance through cracked open doors while jk was sick made my heart smile. the notion of tae just wanting to be around jk is so sweet. also sweet: tae waiting for jh and jk to watch the ss concert

the maknae line clearly has no boundaries but the way jk's hand reaches out to grab tae's jacket (that's being held right in front of his crotch) without tae so much as flinching despite the sharp movement towards him is telling. all the guys are struggling with the jackets but jk keeps his eyes on tae the whole time even after they move apart

tae tends to take pictures where he's posing really closely with other people. his lgg pictures come to mind. it seems important to him to stress that there wasn't any real flirting going on. later in the video, tae makes sure to make eye contact with someone off-screen when he says that he didn't say anything of substance to or at the start of the performance. i think he says the same thing later in the v.live too

6. do you know me: i could replay tae's smile at jk when jk realizes tae has beer in his fridge on loop

jk based his answers to the fridge questions on each member's personal preferences (like jin not liking cold foods). the inference: tae doesn't drink/like beer - which the members seem to acknowledge - so there's no reason for him to have it in his fridge. jk's reaction read a bit like he's the one who left the beer in tae's fridge and then completely forgot about it

jk seemed more excited about getting the beer question correct than concerned about getting other questions like jm's solo trip and restaurant review or jin's ice-cream questions wrong

also lol at the memory of jk drinking white wine with ice out of a mug. tbt tae and jk's bottle of wine during their un trip in 2021

my trip it's ,,, i don't know how to describe it, im currently camping in the middle of a forest, on a god forsaken island, on the other side of greece so it's uhhh interesting? i come here every year to enjoy the nature, mediate, reflect on myself, and set goals for self improvement before i go back to a year of intense studying 🤧

almost everyone comes here for the same reason, a small community is set up every may and people come and go until september. i'll be hitchhiking my way to natural hotsprings and waterfalls for ten days, so i'd say that this is bliss! but this kind of more primal, i guess you could say, situation isn't for everyone so i'll just say that my trip is interesting instead :>

even in irl situations most dialogues we have aren't exactly the profound type but isn't that okay? to talk about seemingly unimportant things i mean, it's like 'love knows not it's depth'. the same way negative things that get swept under the rug end up pilling and can even dissolve a previously good relationship, conversations about 'nothing seemingly substantial' can grow into the substance of a relationship when shared between the right people, me thinks.

oh on another note - yeah it's something i struggle with, writing reader insert characters with strong personalities of their own. i can't ever write blank slate characters (or unrealistic characters for that matter, yknow the characters that sit around the house all day and wait and cry when their hq bfs come home late fr work) but sometimes i wonder if ppl don't want me to write personalities into my characters cos it makes it harder to relate to them? idk. something i grapple with from time to time.

HAHA it's actly so much fun writing both kaiyo and the reader in this fic cos they're pretty different but yet they're such good friends and continually support each other! personally i feel like the reader here is a lot more relatable - she's a bit like yachi in the overthinking department, and she's obviously anxious despite being v competent in her own right. also, *waggles my eyebrows about her progress w dear shin-chan*

omg greece....you know i grew up reading the corfu trilogy by gerald durrell and i've had a hankering to just spend a whole month kicking back and enjoying the greece countryside so im exceedingly jealous but happy that you're enjoying yourself, bb!!! i love the food i love the culture (even tho i just spent a couple of days on santorini and athens) and when travel reopens i defo wanna explore more of greece! in the meantime, take care and rest and recuperate!!! it's so exciting to hear you have so many things lined up ahead!!!

I like that Connor is a man who knows what he wants. He wanted Rose and didn’t hesitate to ask her out. Rose was scared that he just wanted to take her virginity and leave her, but he saw through her fear. He treats her as his equal and never tries to put her down, they balance each other out. Connor is definitely my favorite male character in the series. Connor is like the leader of their group (along with Rose - they’re the mom & dad of the group) and is always calm and takes care of everyone. I want and need a man like him. The phone call where Scott asked Connor what Rose liked and Connor said “my face” and then proceeded to add “my face, my body, my mind, my cock” had me dead. And if you think the bedroom scenes between them were hot in Kiss the Sky, then just wait until Fuel the Fire (that book was a little sad and heartbreaking though).

I'm on Fuel the Fire now and it is heartbreaking tbh. i feel so bad for them all and I couldn't imagine being in their shoes tbh that would be brutal and draining contsantly.

I always go back and forth between Lily and Rose being my favorite female characters in the books. I relate to Lily since I’m shy, I like comic books, and I’m the black sheep of my family. But I can also relate to Rose since I’m a virgin, I get called a bitch/rude (mainly by men) when I stand my ground, some of the things I say can be snarky, and I can come off as cold because I have a resting bitch face and I’m quiet.

I do def find myself wishing that i was reading lil/lo's pov whilst in the other books, but i can relate more to rose than lily. i still like reading about them tho, their stories are so different but they're so close.

The series is an easy read and something to just enjoy, which I like. Sometimes it’s nice to just read something that doesn’t require a lot of attention.

Kiss the Sky honestly had me shook. I really loved the book. I love Rose and Connor, they’re such a power couple. He always tries to make her feel confident and safe. And the sex scenes were something I wasn’t expecting. The collar, the bondage, Connor being dominant. Also, his cat Sadie is cute. I hated Scott so much, and what he did to Rose and Connor had me feeling so bad for them. What are your thoughts on Connor and Rose as characters and as a couple?

Ugh. yes, scott was literally the worst. love connor and rose's bedroom times, he was so confident and i found that v attractive of him. she could finally relax and low-key i need my next relationship to carry some of those qualities haha

The next book after Kiss the Sky is Hothouse Flower, I believe, but I skipped that because of the characters/couple so I am completely clueless when it comes to that book. After Hothouse Flower is Thrive and that one focuses on Lily and Loren, and after Thrive is Addicted After All which again focuses on Lily & Lo.

okay, so happy that lo and lily will be back! i'm like 5% in of hothouse flower and all that's happened so far is that lo relapsed off page so i'm v sad about that :(

What were your thoughts on Daisy? I haven’t read the books that focus on her, but for me personally, I don’t like her character. The way she comes off is a little irritating, a little immature, and annoying, and I didn’t like her behavior when she found out about Lily’s addiction. And the sexual innuendos between Daisy and Ryke was not it. I hate how the industry (and to an extent her mother) over-sexualize Daisy, she doesn’t deserve that, but sadly it does happen. So while I don’t like her, I think she doesn’t deserve that kind of treatment. And Ryke I don’t like either. I hate how he treats Lily; it feels rude and mean. At least be more sympathetic. Lily is trying and it’s not easy for her.

daisy is meh to me. she's young, so i guess i felt she acted her age. but the daredevil-ishness might get annoying, only tine will tell. so far ryke's pov is just saying fucking every other word so that's kind of annoying me so far. idrk how to feel about ryke, i liked him at fist but now he's just there. he's the third in my roster for who i like of the 3 haha.
