sorry to all of you who were expecting lestat and daniel to not get along and for daniel to be sick of lestat immediately and bully him constantly because, from where i see it, lestat is exactly the kind of person current daniel would want to surround himself with. he's rock, he's sex, he's drugs and he's party. he's messy and daniel clearly is enjoying himself to the fullest ever since getting turned, what better way to live life like it's a party than becoming friends with a rockstar? not to mention daniel wants to track armand down, what better way to do it than befriend armand's one person he could never let go of? you guy are not seeing the vision

[edit] another thing: i believe it made more sense for daniel to be more hostile towards louis because remember that louis did try to kill him when he was young. also (this is is something that eric has confirmed) daniel doesn't like feeling bullied so he's going to bully back, he doesn't like being treated condescendingly especially by someone who tried to take his life so he's going to be condescending too, and it's not like he's going to stop being louis's friend because he became friends with lestat, if anything, we're about to see some really fun dynamics from those three next season !!!
