Kinger is like a mix of caine and ragatha, I think. Kinger gives me dad vibes that I cant white explain, and no it's not just because of his age... said it a few times but he tells embellished stories to you.. noooo cuz imagine if you try to fit into the royal aesthetic with him, be it with you as a prince/princess or as a knight or whatever. I think that would be adorable. Takes you out to hunt for bugs and tucks you in a night with a story

1 - I feel like the most common one I've seen around general audience/most shonen lovers (I like shonen too, but you know what I mean. You know what type of people I'm referring to) is that they take Usopp's character pretty superficially and instead of reading between the lines (very huge, separated, obvious and easy to read lines, though) they just accept what is verbally said... "He's a coward" / "He can't fight" / "He's selfish" / "He's just funny".

Most people have this misconseption about Usopp's fighting style because they assume that, because it is a long range fighting style, he isn't as powerful as others. When it is not true, by the way. They also deem Usopp to be a coward when, actually? He is just an average person? Like I KNOW the whole point is that he works on his "cowardice" but they just took an average boy with no prior experience of fighting and being a pirate to directly... Fight and being a pirate. Everybody would react like that. "He's not strong and he is a coward" first of all, wrong, second of all, you would be like that too.

And saying he is selfish? Or that he doesn't care about the crew or the people around him? I genuinely do not understand how some people can read him that way... Do you all not know how to... Analyse basic characters now? Another thing people get wrong is thinking Usopp isn't hot/wouldn't pull any girls as if he wasn't the only one with a canon girlfriend waiting for him, but alright.

2 - This is such a good question, actually 😭 I love you for this, anon. My favorite thing ever is talking about Usopp,,, I appreciate this.

Luffy: I love his dynamic with Luffy because despite being his captain, it is obvious that they are best friends. They have the same young/playful mindset and it doesn't feel, like... A job at all? Don't get me wrong, they're all a family, but their dynamic feels way more teen-like? More silly? They're stupid together. Usopp being the voice of the reason vs Luffy being extremely chaotic is my favorite thing. They feel very organic. And then there's this layer of jealousy from Usopp's side and the fact that I think Luffy will never be able to fully understand Usopp's insecurities, but somehow they will always find understanding and support on each other. Usopp is loyal to his captain and all but it feels more of a "I follow him because I consciously trust in him" than a "blind devotion" type of thing. And I adore that. Also, Luffy saw potential on Usopp from the very beginning and it melts my heart. Plus! They're both beetle/bugs lovers! The sillies <33

Zoro: They're one of the most hilarious duos because you would expect Zoro to absolutely hate being around somebody like Usopp, and yet he lets the guy do whatever he wants with him?? Zoro might be Luffy's enabler first and foremost but we forget he is even more permissive with Usopp sometimes and it is the funniest thing. I love it when they have tiny little soft scenes together because Zoro genuinely enjoys Usopp's company and I believe Usopp thinks Zoro's cool despite always being done with him being so dramatic and impulsive when fighting. I feel like Usopp feels safe around him but not only physically. I think he knows Zoro can read him like a book and after what happened in Water 7? I believe now even more than they're closer. Sometimes opening up to your captain is hard so maybe the first mate whom you have an intimate but odd relationship works even better.

Nami: My absolute beloveds. They're both on the same page when it comes to being "cowards" because their fighting styles are different from the rest and they're not built different like most of the crew. They feel so organic and genuine too! They just get each other. They're mischivious little shits together. And when they are not on the same page, it's so funny how comfortable they are around each other to just yell at the other. I think Nami gets Usopp when it comes to feeling weak and out of place but not quite, because she is always trying to make a path for herself instead of being afraid to do so? She's used to fighting on her own and standing up for herself even if it's scary but Usopp isn't, and I think she gets it but Usopp doesn't think she does because she is extremely valuable to the crew, obviously, and Usopp doesn't feel like he is. It's a dynamic with constant support and understanding and so so much fun together because they're most of the time on the same page. That's why they work so well!! They're not normal at all but the whole "we're the only normal people here" dynamic is incredible.

Sanji: If I start talking about them I think I will never finish. I think I've left pretty clear that my favorite thing about their dynamic is that, despite arguing all the time because their personalities are very different (something people often forget like. They argue A LOT. And it's SO funny. They're both the softest and the most annoying thing to each other--) they're always there for each other. Their dynamic is easy to summarize in "they joined basically at the same time, right after the romance trio" / "they do what the other can't do". They both have different types of self-hatred and insecurities that bring Sanji to understand Usopp on a deep level that I don't think others are able to share. It is obvious that Sanji has a clear preference for Usopp when it comes to the guys of the crew and he does treat him differently, not because he sees him as weak but because he sees himself in him. Their relationship is something so personal because I truly believe they're the ones that understand each other the most. I am SO angry they barely have scenes together now,,, Or that Usopp wasn't in WCI,,, Waiting for Elbaf to parallel Water 7 so fucking bad. I have more things to say about them but-- My whole blog is literally about that.

Vivi (very necessary to include her): People don't talk at all about their dynamic and it is so offensive to me because they're so funny??? Vivi's little quirk about forgetting to mention dangerous stuff and Usopp being oh so done with her is the funniest thing. Drum island was certainly incredible for these two. I truly wanted to see more of them,,, I think that if Vivi had stayed with them, she would've understood Usopp pretty well. Screaming for help when nobody can hear you? Feeling oh so weak in comparison to the world around you? She would've been on Sanji's team kicking Luffy and trying hard to keep them from saying any stupid things. More of Usopp and Vivi,,, More of Usopp and Vivi,,, I miss them :( They were so cute :(

Chopper: They're so cute and silly together,, But not only that! They support each other so so much!!! Maybe it's because they're both from the "coward trio" but I just adore how they're pretty much always together. Chopper has this whole thing at first about feeling like a monster, but Usopp finds his abilities so awesome and,, It melts my heart whenever we see them interacting. They're not only hilarious and support each other but they're always finding reassurance on the other and I love it. Not to mention the whole Sogeking thing, too! And Chopper believing Usopp's lies! They feel sooo much like brothers, imo, it's adorable. Chopper might be one of Sogeking's biggest fans but Usopp is certainly Chopper's number 1 fan too.

Robin: I think if I start talking about them I might end up crying, thanks. But. But. But I adore them. They leave the crew pretty much at the same time and yet Usopp does everything to help them save her and bring her back. I think Robin reads him pretty well and can see so much bravery in him that Usopp can't see... While Usopp, despite being a bit weirded out at first by her, sees how gentle and caring and lovely Robin is. And how cool she is, too! Also, they're both big nerds, and I love that. The fact that he did everything he could for her in Enies Lobby despite having left the crew must've meant the world for her. And it's also the whole thing about her wanting to give up on life? I think Usopp, even if it's not on the same level, can kind of relate to that? It is not Sanji/Robin type of bond (which I fucking adore, by the way) but it is pretty personal. Also, hilarious dynamic because Robin is always telling dark jokes and Usopp gets scared easily and I just adore it.

Franky: They mean so much to me. My beloveds. We don't talk enough about Franky regretting having hurt Usopp when they first met and the guilt still haunting him. We don't talk about it enough. We should. Franky was there for Usopp on his most vulnerable moment and I think Franky's personality and masculinity mixed with his pretty emotional side is SO good for Usopp. Because it teaches him to be braver and stronger and himself, and it lets himself feel freely. They have so many things in common and I am from the "Franky father figure" team because their bond looks so,,, So much like that. Usopp getting excited for every little thing Franky makes and Franky quite obviously showing off because he knows he likes it. I think Franky is the one Usopp goes to when there's any problem in his life and,,, It is just so sweet that they always trust each other SO much. It is not only admiration but a deep, close bond. Still not over Franky wanting to overcompensate for what he did to Usopp, though, but- But they're okay now, I swear.

Brook: The sillies!!!!!!! We don't have THAT much of them in comparison to the other characters but every time they interact it is always so funny. Idk how I would describe their dynamic other than it is hilarious,, But I also think we deserve more scenes of them interacting seriously. Brook spent 50 years on his own and Usopp's fear in Water 7/Enies Lobby of being left alone too is so,,, I think Usopp would want to hear more of Brook and make him feel at home because if just the thought of being alone scares him so much, he can't even imagine what it was like for Brook. Usopp is somebody who seems to want to glue the crew together as much as possible and mostly uses fun/positivity (even if fake) to do so, and Brook does the same with music. Like- The fear of being alone. Idkk. Going insane now, actually.

Jinbe: I feel like everybody's relationship with Jinbe is very gentle and silly because he is adapting to the crew's dynamic and getting used to their shenanigans. So no matter what, it is hilarious and sweet. I actually,,, Want to see Jinbe's reaction to Sogeking,,, A lot,,, It'd be SO funny. Anyway- They haven't had much of a break to be together (please please let them be silly post-egghead) (honestly I'd kill for a silly filler arc, ngl...) but Jinbe is extremely understanding and mature and imo he sees a lot of potential and bravery in Usopp. And I'd say Usopp finds comfort on Jinbe but who wouldn't? I think it'd be funny to see a bit more of teasing/playful interactions with them because I love Usopp being stupid and Jinbe being all confused at first but having fun.

Oh God, that whole scene of Wyldfyre talking to Roby was CRINGE!! What have they done to her?? Listen, I'm a defender of the straight ships in this show despite some people in the fandom saying they're badly written, I think Jaya, Pixane and Kailor are all adorable, and I'm not against the idea of Wyldfyre getting a boyfriend, though I don't think she needs one... but so far it seems all they're doing with this ship is actively TRYING to give the fandom a badly written straight ship, because COME ON! I continue to be very autistic for my own OC, so here's some headcanons and silly stuff regarding Winifred's feelings and relationships with other Genshin characters :3

Okay but before all of that, they were joined at the hip for the majority of Winifred's stay in Liyue during the whole Morax murder situation

Winifred definitely didn't trust him at first, but his strange personality absolutely won her over very quickly

Low-key she was too blinded by her crush to realize how sketchy he actually was

But that's okay because he ended up really liking her back on accident

This man spoiled her while they were in Liyue. Where do you think she got the silk flower from?

HE JUST KEPT BUYING HER SNACKS CAN YOU BLAME HER FOR FALLING FOR HIM????

His nickname for her is "Stormy" and while she hates that nickname now, she'd low-key give anything to hear it in an endearing way again

Tartaglia being Tartaglia, he absolutely used that nickname against her when they fought in the Golden House

But Tartaglia being Tartaglia, battle is a weirdly intimate thing for him and though betraying Winifred hurt a little bit for him, he's trying so hard to understand the pain it caused her so he can make things right again

He keeps writing her letters and addressing her as "Stormy" in them, and sending her snacks from Snezhnaya HE'S TRYING OKAY??

She'd never admit it, but she misses his scarf. She'd always try to steal it to wear it when they were in Liyue

She has a habit of wagging her tail when she's happy or blushing, and because she wears a fricking bell on the end of her tail, her crush on him was far from subtle

But that's okay because he finds the tail wagging to be cute

She doesn't make the best drinking partner thanks to her low tolerance, but that does not stop her from trying to one up Kaeya every time

She just keeps falling over after like 2 drinks and Kaeya finds it absolutely hilarious

Kaeya is Winifred's mentor, but seriously, you would never be able to guess with how much they just hang out and drink together like besties

She actually used to have a big ass crush on Kaeya before she met Tartaglia because UGH

UNREQUITED LOVE Y'ALL

He loves her in his own way, just not romantically

But that's okay, she got over her crush and is just thankful to have him in her life

No but seriously, these two would die for one another

He's actually extremely protective of her, especially after the Liyue shenanigans

Sort of a "Anything you do to her, I'll do to you" type thing

Meanwhile Winifred is just adorable trying to be a little mini Kaeya

Even though she uses a polearm, she tries to mimic Kaeya's movements with a sword in combat

It's adorable because she also tries to mimic his posture and poses to look intimidating

BUT SHE'S TINY AND HE KEEPS USING HER AS AN ARMREST HELP

One of her favorite things is stargazing with Bennett, Razor, and Fischl, and Kaeya will do his best to join them if his knightly duties allow him the time to do so

And of course, these two are a dynamic duo when it comes to messing with Diluc

THAT IS BASICALLY HER ADOPTIVE BROTHER SHE ADORES HIM AND WANTS TO PROTECT HIM

I ADORE Akiyama now. I liked him before, but the way he took Haruka in so quickly was incredible to see. I know there's the whole "Park's dream" thing, but... idk. It seems more like a "man... Kiryu's not here, I'll look after her" thing. Maybe I'm wrong, but it made me feel so happy 😭🫶🏻

Also, Akiyama is A BEAST of a fighter, he's probably my favourite playable character now, in terms of fighting. Yes, beating even Y0 Majima. I have SO much fun with him.

I actually kinda had a theory that Saejima and Kiryu were planned to be killed in Kamurocho for the symbolism. Turns out that was exactly it, huh.

It's interesting that Saejima and Kiryu were the only "legends" mentioned. I think Majima deserves a spot among them imo. Maybe his reputation has kinda dwindled? He does seem more... docile and not as unpredictable, maybe he's been laying low for a while.

Omg my vibe radar was correct?? It WAS probably pretty obvious, but I can be very silly so I'm proud that I called him being sus.

NOW. Him being the Omi chairman I DIDN'T see coming. Damn, that was a good twist. I really hope Daigo makes it!! I don't wanna say goodbye to him yet.

Seeing Kiryu so openly enraged and literally trying to jump across the gap between the rooftops was... honesly, it kinda did shake me. He has shown anger before, but that was the kind of DESPERATION and WRATH we haven't seen in a long while.

Kiryu has felt like he's breaking apart at the seams this whole game. He's been so... ANGRY and yet filled with so much grief and guilt. Even so, hearing him say blame himself for this stuff that he really has no control over made me really sad. Him saying he's felt lonely - even more lonelier than IN PRISON - broke my heart, despite it being obvious based on his behavior at the start of the game.

Even though it hurts, this is - in my opinion - the best writing Kiryu has ever had.

This chat in general was so, so necessary for Kiryu. I really like the dynamic between these two. I hope this made Kiryu THINK about relying on people more, at least. He's always shouldering so much whenever there's a crisis like this.

Yoooo! I wish we'd had a Bunsen Season 2 just so I could find out if they really were setting up a "Beverly backstabs Amanda and now she runs this show" plot. It's right there... C'est la vie!!

I've been sick this week and bingeing T.U.F.F. and Bunsen Is a Beast... Every time I've gone back to those shows after time away, I'm like "Wow, every line of dialogue is SO GOOD... I missed this so much." Insane amount of animatic potential for other fandoms.

I want to do the "Well, look what we have here... SOMEONE TO BLAME!" sequence (T.U.F.F. - "House Broken") with Dev and Peri so badly... It's so "Peri trying to sneak back into the Dimmadome household after the finale" coded...

I actually have a nice-sized liveblog post in my drafts that I was leaning towards not posting, but... Bunsen is so ridiculously close to my sense of humor and T.U.F.F. to the way I like worldbuilding for animal people that it's hard for me not to fawn over them, haha. I am cringe and free. Maybe I'll post that tomorrow.

I've always wanted to write a nice 'fic for each of my fandoms. I have a whole Keswick backstory I outlined years ago (centered around the canons of Keswick fighting his clone to the death, destroying his home dimension, striking a deal with The Chief for three-hearted bloodsucking rights, stuff like that).

It's one of those "I can't spend time on this without cutting into something more important" situations... C'est la vie! Life's too short, but Keswick cracks me up. What do you mean he killed everyone on his home planet and now he has a fear of being attacked by orphans? What do you mean he drops lines like "If I didn't work for the good guys, nothing I do would be legal." What do you mean his boss drinks his blood without consent? Hey!!

I have some other T.U.F.F. drafts that mainly revolve around Snaptrap and Larry being brothers-in-law (Canon, but only confirmed outside the show) and what that's done to their family, plus some other fun stuff with Chameleon and Meerkat... I might finish those because they were going to be quick one-shots anyway and they are ITCHING at me... We will see.

I just think Meerkat's sheer desperation to get in the cool kids' club despite it being painfully obvious he doesn't know his rights or why the other villains do what they do is really funny... Snaptrap, Birdbrain, and Chameleon know they're better off calling in to inform T.U.F.F. about their plans - because doing so legalizes breaking out of jail - but Meerkat doesn't know that's allowed... He waited out his whole sentence... I love him. I can't believe Wannabee got left to pull off a crime on his own because all his teammates had jury duty... He's just a little guy...

Also, I still love Mikey Munroe... He's my favorite. He is consistently mean and manipulative... That is a CHOICE for your protag, and it's fascinating. He's the epitome of "Looks like a cinnamon roll, but would kill you." I would've loved to see a Season 2 just for more Mikey. I ADORE him <3

The thing about Bunsen is that it is silly and goofy and it's just really funny to me. What do you mean Bunsen is regularly tempted to eat Mikey and he carries reminders that these urges are natural, but he needs to resist? what. excuse me?

Anyway, I'll have to post that liveblog... I just have feelings... I can't stop thinking about Dimmsdale and Petropolis being very heavily implied to exist in the same location, but in one of these worlds, the magical forest is held at bay and in the other, it's not, so it's grown out of hand and trying to eat people... I'm screaming.

ANYWAY! It's hard to wrap my head around Chloe and Beverly interacting, but I think you're onto something there- It's the "I've been working hard since I was a preschooler" energy.

But Chloe tries to be Lawful Good and Beverly is somewhere between Lawful Evil and Chaotic Evil, so they're gunning for completely different things.

I have a headcanon that at her first Fairy World Games, Chloe tries to play for the Anti-Fairies and Pixies because she feels bad for them. This gives me the same energy... Chloe feels bad for Bev and wants to help her.

I feel like Chloe would be hugely supportive of Beverly's attempts to enroll in middle school despite being a preschooler. She'd want to be her friend. Beverly is just nice enough that it's easy to overlook how unhinged she is. I feel like Chloe could easily be suckered into helping Beverly, and by the time she realizes "I'm the assistant of a child running the park like a dictatorship," she'd be in too deep.

Chloe has such "I try to see everyone in a good light" energy, and we know from canon that this gets her suckered into doing a lot of things she doesn't want to do. Beverly apparently has enough authority to organize a picket line (At least, she was the one who dismissed everyone after the picket was over), so...

I think Bev would run this show and Chloe would have a hard time getting untangled from that. Chloe is the right-hand man who would get excited when she sees the hero showing up.

"You came back!!" [following an argument where Chloe defended Beverly] and then she glances sideways at her boss. "I mean... Oh, no... We're about to be defeated..." (Said in the same monotone as "Oh no, I have tripped on my cape").

Insert joke about Amanda and Chloe having the same VA, so they can perfectly mimic each other's voices to confuse Bev :)

Norn9: Var Commons Part 6 - Masamune Toya Route

Okay, after Itsuki not flying with me, I'm a bit more cautious towards being excited for Masamune, but I really love big brother types so I can't hold in my excitement anyway lmao. One thing I just realised about choosing Masamune for Koharu though, that means Kakeru and Senri are partners! Lol! Poor Senri, I apologise. Lmao, I love how Koharu described everyone as nice, I mean she's not wrong I guess🤣 I died when Ron appeared with a gas mask and Koharu said they're nice sunglasses😆 it's so cute how she tries so hard to see the good in everything hahaha. I feel sorry for Akito though, the poor guy who's the best cook had to be stuck with Heishi and Nanami. I died when Koharu was about to faint from the terrible smell HAHAHA, I mean it's not funny for her but omg, I'm glad Masamune came to her rescue lol. I feel kinda bad for Masamune, he has to go around solving all the problems everyone makes lol. Dang Koharu is strong, she weeded the whole place herself and watered it too! Masamune blushing because of Koharu saying she wants to help him as much as she can is so adorable. He's finally found someone that genuinely cares about how much rest he's getting, acknowledging all the hard work he does mediating and tries her best to support him to make his work burden lighter haha. The sad thing is that Koharu thinks she's a bother to him, which is totally not true! I mean, it was pretty funny how she accidentally intruded on the guys bathing hahaha. But since she feels so bad about it, I feel like I shouldn't laugh haha, especially since it makes her think about how whenever she tried to interact with people, they would think of her as a bother and call her a monster.

I actually wanted to cry when Koharu said she wanted to dissolve her pairing with Masamune and pair up with Senri and stay in her room all the time as well so she won't cause any trouble to others. My heart broke that she had to come to that conclusion. I was really happy when Masamune told her he wanted to stay partners with her so he can keep an eye on her or he'd be worried sick. I'm also glad he told her that it's impossible to not hurt people, but that doesn't mean people can't learn from their actions and become stronger and better at it, and if you don't interact with people, you can't help them either! LMAO when Masamune started tearing up because Koharu thanked and appreciated him for all the work that he does. The best part was when Nanami appeared and said the salesman analogy, legit died. Okay, Masamune with glasses is a 10/10, I love him. I also love how he's properly spending time with Koharu now and teaching her common knowledge, although Koharu is great at stumping Masamune with her questions haha. To be fair, fairy tales are dodgy and it's true that the princesses, well I guess both sides are basically silly for jumping into a relationship barely knowing each other but what would I know~ people would just say you're not romantic haha.

I think Masamune really suits Koharu because he's really patient with teaching her things and to listening to her when she finds it difficult to express herself. LMAO, I died when Koharu really listened to Masamune and covered up her ears when Itsuki started talking to her😂😂 I honestly love Akito though. The moment he heard Kakeru got sick, he immediately started making rice porridge, he's such a great guy😭 Omgg and he even bothered to make rice balls for Koharu because she missed out on breakfast, that's so sweet!! Mikoto and Koharu baking cookies together was the cutest thing ever, I loved how Mikoto made some for Sakuya too. It was funny how Masamune went up to the rooftop to enjoy the cookies but I honestly didn't expect him to act that way and kiss Koharu, like nooo, don't become the "all men are wolves" guy hahaha. Yes, Masamune, it was wrong of you to just do that, but that's not what I wanted to hear!! Koharu was so brave to ask about it and thinking whether he likes her and he apologises without elaborating😭😭 I can understand why though, since he did ask Koharu to trust him and that he wouldn't do anything to her but then he ended up doing something he said he wouldn't do..

AHHH Masamune, remember your own words! You're the one who said it's impossible to never hurt anyone, don't run away thinking you won't be able to hurt Koharu if you're not her partner anymore!! I definitely blame Masamune in this situation. Koharu is the one that's clueless and doesn't know anything so he needs to get a grip! Sorata in hiyoko PJs is so cute. What I hate the most is that Koharu has always been honest with Masamune but he always holds himself back, it really hurts to see Koharu put in so much effort but Masamune won't really show her how much he likes her. Soo glad he finally told her how he felt and that he has a duty to be impartial to everyone on the ship so he couldn't and shouldn't make her be any more important than she already is in his heart. It's always so nice when they finally communicate, I'm glad Koharu was able to tell him all her negative feelings since she was trying so hard to be a good girl for him. I guess it's funny because Masamune was trying his best to be a good guy to her too. HAHAHA, Masamune gets drunk eating sweets?! Is that why he was so different and couldn't control himself lmao. That's hilarious and random. Anyway, I find it so adorable how they're both sighing now because they want to touch each other but Masamune's duties prevents him from being allowed to do so. I love how Koharu helped Mikoto and Sakuya's love. It always hurts me to see them distressed over hiding their feelings for each other so I'm glad Koharu told Sakuya that it's okay to love someone.

Trust Kakeru to be the one able to convince the military guys to give Mikoto time off from helping out with the war. Honestly, I really do wish there was a Kakeru X Mikoto route haha. Koharu patting Masamune's head and telling him he did a good job today was so cute, I definitely wanted them to touch each other more though considering how much they've missed each other haha. Lmao I didn't expect Setsu to be such a weird pervert, definitely gross if even Koharu thinks so😂 Masamune protecting her and kissing her hand was omgg☺️ Honestly though, even though I like Masamune, I have to agree with Natsuhiko that the Reset definitely isn't the way to do things. I....didn't expect to have to witness Sakuya dying for Mikoto in this route. I didn't expect to have Mikoto experience that. Now she'll blame herself forever, especially since they were a pair in this route.. I agree with Akito that Masamune should really start thinking about what he wants to do rather than always following what The World says, especially since Koharu is being used by the army now. It took really long, but I'm so glad Masamune has finally decided to prioritise Koharu over what The World says after everything that has happened, even he has finally understood that this isn't Aion's will, but in fact the islanders' input have instead become The World's instructions. However, I can understand why Masamune took so long to make the decision to abandon his duty. It's been something he's been entrusted with for his whole life probably and he's always believed in it, so to abandon that means to abandon everything that he's believed in and followed this whole time, and to do that requires alot of courage, especially to admit that what you're doing has now become "wrong".

It broke my heart when Itsuki couldn't decide whether forgetting about the person you loved or living in a reality without them was better, but I'm glad that they didn't choose to erase Mikoto's memories and are instead planning to stay beside her and support her, because erasing Sakuya's existence within Mikoto would break my heart, he's so integral to her it'll definitely feel like she's missing a part of herself. But I'm very very sad that they erased Koharu's memories of everyone. She finally made friends and now she's forgotten them. I do enjoy seeing how hard Masamune is working for their future though. The tragic love ending ended abruptly though, like what??? Lol. I was so into it when Mikoto listened to Koharu and blamed her for Sakuya's death, and Koharu was ready to protect Mikoto forever. I mean, aside from the endless guilt and pain for the both of them, I enjoyed how protective Koharu was of Mikoto. LMAO at the bad ending when Koharu puts too much sugar in the cookies for Masamune because of Heishi and Nanami and he never changes back from the "drunk" version of him and gets the harem ending where he just rules the ship and ignores The World, legit died, what a random ending😂😂😂 Also lmao at the other bad ending when you go into the room with Ron and Itsuki, I want a harem end!! Not some ending where Itsuki and Ron are never heard from again LOL, I mean that's so funny in a morbid way but still!

Overall, I liked Masamune's route but I do think the latter half wasn't as good as it could have been. For me, I really enjoyed the caring Masamune who slowly got healed by Koharu's sweet personality that always tries her best to help people around her and not be a burden. I liked how just as she helped Masamune feel appreciated and understand what it means to be cared for, he also taught her that it's impossible for people to not get hurt but it was fine as long as we learnt from it. I guess my main problem with the route was that because of Masamune's duty that they never bothered elaborating on, Koharu always had to be the one chasing him, telling him her thoughts and feelings whereas he always held back because of those duties. I mean it's good that he at least eventually told her how he felt and stuff, but it was still frustrating to see how hard Koharu was trying all the time to support Masamune. Anyway, alot of drama, but I think the main conflict I enjoyed was how both Masamune and Koharu tried to be a good guy/girl in the other's eyes until they couldn't anymore because they couldn't help but express their true feelings. I liked that breakthrough. Otherwise, I'm disappointed that considering Masamune is a locked route, we still basically know nothing about the island from this route. Like c'mon, he grew up there!! He has a mission!! But the story didn't bother exploring it at all! I mean I knew the plot was thrown to the side but it's completely ignored here, and lol, Masamune's powers weren't even talked about, I completely forgot he had any lmao. I also would have liked to see more of their "touching" in the story after they left the ship, like whyyy, he's the oldest, he's not restricted by his duties anymore and we're still robbed of further intimacy between him and Koharu?! Otherwise, it's hilarious how in the short story, we're still feeding Masamune cookies, the guy needs another way to relax haha!

Actually I needed to brainrot with my bestie bout this and we came to the conclusion that; Baizhu easily gets jealous - he doesn't have much time left and he knows he shouldn't spend this time with being jealous. But he sees other people coming a bit too near to me as threat, he wants to spend the rest of his time with me after all <//3 ofc when I noticed him the first time being jealous, we talked about it and I understand it and all and Baizhu said he will try his best to not to get jealous over everything - and since then I try my best to not to make him jealous but yeah;; if it happens nonetheless, we talk it out and / or I shower him with love (for example kissing his face all over while I tell him how much I love him and stuff). The situations he gets jealous the most are definitely seeing other guys / girls / pals (He knows I am pan) hitting on me, flirting with me or even touching me quite in a seductive manner. Sadly I am quite oblivious heh. So it often ends with Baizhu subtle showing his position as my husband (by laying an arm around my waist, kissing my cheek, etc.), or maybe getting me away from the scene (but also subtle). And then us showering each other with love at home <33

Okay. Idk how much you know already so brief summary: Spookys jumpscare mansion is a horror game that focuses on the protgaonist: a history enthusiast going to a Mansion to uncover its history of the mysterious place, and is told to make it through 1000 rooms by a ghost girl named Spooky. that's the core game its really simple, it's mostly just silly (esp the endings, mainly the good ending is just kinda silly) it starts getting somthing really truly *serious* during the karamari hospital and Dollhouse dlcs I'd say, oughh I love this games story, but the stories of those is, a long ramble on their own

The initial concept that lead to the game becoming what it is starts at specimen 1! The cardboard cutouts! And they're... well, cardboard cutouts that jump out and scare you. The entire point of them is basically a joke/jab on jumpscares as a whole because they're adorable and made of cardboard: Cheap and not Actually Scary (except the occasions where it DOES throw a scary face at you) you're just startled by a loud noise jumping out at you. Otherwise they help hand you notes through the game from others who explored the mansion before you too. I am fond of specimen 1 they're just little guys (and they've killed 4 people via heart attack)

Otherwise yeah you go through a bunch of rooms and get chased by various monsters a lot, on the main game its 13 "specimens", other stuff offers us more entities n whatnot though

And I WAS originally gonna infodump about more of the specimens, but then that got absurdly long fast even when I was trying to be picky with who I talked about 😭 so, I'll refrain for now because I want the information I give to not be overwhelming so it can be processed pfft, so, enjoy that bite of information about spookys I looove this silly game

THE WHOLE CONSPIRACY ABOUT THE GODFATHER BEING REPLACED i think i had to reread it like 3 times because what the Fuck. enstars LOVES replacement subplots. i also didnt really know much about nagisa before, i'd seen the eden anime eps and my first 5* in 2020 was his dream of the wasteland card. i find him really endearing, and and see.. unlike madara, /i/ can understand his ramblings <33 eden are just very compelling i think, theyre the most keychain-core of the cast i would get eden merch. have i mentioned kohaku yet no i haven't um okay so he's actually my favorite character in SS ngl

his entire role in this story feels a little protagonist-like. wanting so Badly to just fly around the world to find madara because the guy won't answer a single message and he's tied down by the preliminary regulations that Somehow rinne has decided they're following. he worries about mama getting into trouble but equally thinks about his life in general. how madara sacrifices his own happiness and dreams for the sake of working for the lesser-evil of justice. constantly on the move and he's never got his guard down, always pretending.

kohaku's inner monologues are just so, profound and thoughtful, i adore him. he's very caring

I have only recently got into the ace attorney fandom, and this story was the first story I read, and I feel spoiled! I absolutely loved every chapter, so I'm gonna word vomit here and tell you everything I love about this!

Considering the fact that nick didn't have any prominent figure in his life, it makes sense that he would look up to gregory so much

Also the first AA game felt unnatural in the sense of how seemingly unaffected Phoenix seemed at Mia's murder so I'm really glad you wrote it this way

Alright so here are a few thoughts that I felt capcom needed to do which you did for us!

no. 1 - Address the trauma phoenix faced with not only dahlia but also with mia's death

no. 2 - Actually fucking flesh out a good relationship dynamic between larry and phoenix

no. 3 - actually! have! phoenix! be hurt! in bridge to turnabout! istg my man would not have dropped from a burning bridge to a freezing river only to have a cold

ok so I have a LOT of feelings for bridge to turnabout and HOO BOY BUCKLE UP

So I always thought that in this fic, miles must have felt fucking awful! I mean he very clearly hates who he was and what that has led to but that must have been doubled over with this case! Phoenix would have died if not for mia and it would have been indirectly miles's fault. I think about that alot

Like he said that he very much regrets whatever he did as bratworth in the phone call with gumshoe but i don't think he anticipated this. poor edgeworth

Also I think this was the final nail in the coffin for miles. Phoenix forgave him, after all the fucked up shit miles did, and that made that man go "how is this guy so fucking compassionate awwwww shit I'm in fucking love with this idiotic brave man".

my main thoughts were "holy shit phoenix must have been feeling awful." like to learn that you were in love with a person who turned out to be a murderer but then not a murderer cuz everything you felt about that was real and just...... it must have hurt. He never fell in love with dahlia. it was iris, always. and WHAT ABOUT MILES DURING THIS!!! Like to learn that the man you love was falsely led to believe that he was in love with a person he rarely met and then learn that his ex who is not murderous might still be in love with him because "that was real. that part was real." like damn. people just gloss over this

also I feel terrible for iris F in the chat for iris lads.

Dahlia literally haunting that courtroom scene. I felt mia's power. I felt her desperation. I felt everything and I am once again in awe of the absolute power your writing holds.

the insomnia aspect is SO INTERESTING the three day cap + the fact that there's a specific insomnia rule that either encourages them to spawn or prevents them from spawning really solidifies them as this literal nightmare and like you said, really calls their origin into question

undead and bound to your sleep schedule, with something almost fantastical about their color scheme- if I were to be describing them, I would literally be describing them as living nightmares which- isn't that an interesting origin for Mr. phantombur soot, mischievous history-book extraordinaire! whose literal original goal was to scam everybody out of their belongings while claiming them as safe!

they could always be the less physical aspect of players- I mean hell, the closest thing to player appearances are zombies and skeletons, who's to say that they aren't just echoes in the world's code of whatever lived in this world before, player or not?

I'm absolutely rambling now but your analysis is fucking fascinating and phantoms just. many thoughts. many thoughts in general abt MC's worldbuilding

YEAH the three day cap really heavily implies that phantoms are in fact a hallucination or are at least somewhat fucky in whether or not they're a figment of the player's imagination or not. obviously they're real, but how real? when splashed with invisibility, fun fact, you can still see phantom's eyes, which are their most distinguishing (and likely terrifying) feature. what does that entail?

yeah no they literally seem like living nightmares, or at the very least like. the living embodiment of the deepest fears of the mind if that makes sense? phantoms are flying creatures that are hard to kill that can also deal a shit ton more damage than any other standard undead mob. skeleton max damage on hard is 5 points (2.5 hearts). a zombie is 4.5 (2.25 hearts). a spider is 4 (2 hearts). a phantom is fucking 9 points of damage (4.5 hearts) in one hit. that's the same difficulty for all of them! a phantom hits twice as hard as literally any other standard undead mob and, once again, is notoriously a pain in the ass to kill. they attack routinely and then retreat up to a space where most players cannot reach them. they knock you off of tall heights. their hitboxes are the size of a damn matchbox. and the whole time you can hear them, shrieking, circling, stalking you until the times comes to strike.

i don't wanna say phantombur is evil or anything!! cause i genuinely think he's probably just a quirky lil guy, just a silly lil man. he clearly doesn't wanna cause any actual harm to the people around him even though he has a habit of. punching ranboo into the rain (funny so it's okay) and stealing things (funny so it's also okay). he very clearly has morals and wants to build a good world. but he is also undead, he is also all-seeing in a sense, he is also a hybrid of the space where our clear minds and our terror meet. it's possible to be both that and kind. he is inhuman, unliving, what happens when every last light finally goes out, but he is still kind. i appreciate that and i fucking adore that.

my personal theory for phantoms is that they're players who died after 3 days of no sleep/after the hallucinations of exhaustion took hold, but i'm still thinking about it. i like how weird and mysterious they are, and how we don't know hardly fucking anything about them. big fan of them.
