Hello happy 2020! How are ya? Can I request some Nsfw Thomas Hewitt content? I love him so much, ❤
I’m kinda okay, just very disorganized lately, too nervous about school stuff and all ♥ But always willing to write for big boi Tommy uwu
N//SF//W
MISSED YA
♥ It has been a goddamn week.
♥ A week with both you and Thomas running errands, his staying at home and yours?
♥ Well, you’ve been forced to stay in the middle of the road for GOD knows how long, trying to catch somebody’s, ANYBODY’S attention to bring them back home for dinner, but you were pretty sure that Hoyt just wanted you to wither and die out there, leaving you with only one big water bottle for the whole day, standing in the hot Texas sun, the sunscreen barely helping your skin not turn into bacon strips as you awaited another group of people to pass you, only to fool them into getting you home.
♥ And the sense that Hoyt could easily pull them over for no reason instead of you standing here, alone, didn’t help.
♥ It also didn’t help that you’ve been standing here, hungry, thirsty, sweating and bored out of your mind, your mind able to go only to a few places before coming back to Thomas, his adorable, expressive eyes, his strong, rough hands, his broad shoulders shifting underneath that shirt he always wore, though in this heat sometimes he’d bless the world with taking it off, revealing his beautiful chest and that monstrous bicep and… that brought you to your last problem.
♥ Being too horny for your own good.
♥ And there being no big-ass thick butcher man to fuck you into the ground.
♥ And yes, that was A HUGE PROBLEM.
♥ Your whole body was being too needy, only adding to your agitation and the need to choke Hoyt’s lights out for making you do this, but you couldn’t do anything about this, the family needed to eat.
♥ You sighed at the sky, eyes watching the moving sun and you guessed it was around 4 o’clock, the old bastard was bound to come for you any time now and maybe finally, FINALLY you could rest.
♥ But your prayer was thrown in the gutter as the loud bass of a guitar rolled towards you, cutting the otherwise quiet ambiance of the drylands you’ve been forced to stay in. Your eyes did their best to tell what was coming, the waves of heat not helping your focus, your vision literally melting, but you could tell what it was just by it’s size, a big ol’ black jeep, full of teens in nothing but tank tops and t-shirts, rocking along in the vehicle to some loud music. Rock n’ roll, you could tell that much, but couldn’t tell what band, a shame, but maybe Hoyt would let you keep their discs with you after they’re fresh meat.
♥ Putting on your sweetest smile you started waving at them and noticed one girl pointing towards you, excited, it seemed, and sure enough once they stopped she was the first to run to you, a tall, dark skinned brunette, beautiful and just shining in this weather, it was really such a shame. “Hiya, babe! Whacha doing here lil’ thing?” She asked you, clearly enjoying some new company and eager to hear your story, and you weren’t gonna disappoint.
♥ “Ah, I live here, sweetie. Well not HERE, ya know, but in these here regions, but my dumbass of a daddy left my ass here so he could go grab some smokes from the city, while I wait here to faint in this damn heat and not tell ma’.”  You scoffed and she gave you a long moan of worry, ruffling your hair. “Ah, baby, we’ll get ya home, don’tcha worry!” she cooed, before turning to the group of boy promptly starring at her ass. “Right, y’all?” she asked and they roared in confirmation.
♥ It was really a shame for those guys, but as you walked out towards the porch, catching the glimpse of Thomas’ hair in the window, all the guilt faded to the second plan. Trying to hide the haste in your voice you invited the 5 people inside, for dinner, something cold to drink and so the girl, Hannah, as you’ve learned, could scold your “papa”, something you were willing to see for sure, especially after crying to “mama” that “pa” had left you on the road to get smokes and Luda Mae slammed a tray of full glasses of water onto the table, shaking her head in disbelief, playing around with you. She did that rarely, but if it meant Hoyt getting an earful from a victim for no reason before they’re meat, then she’d be more into the idea. You both somehow loved Hoyt, but God, was he an asshole.
♥ There were no problems with the group, except for the boys getting rowdy with the tools in the shed, but Hanna told you she got them under control, you doubted that, but that let you slid into the basement, the chill of the room sending pleasant shivers down your spine, as did the rhythmic thuds of a cleaver cutting a block of meat clean off, once, again, and on repeat, as you leaned onto a wall, away from the pool of bloodied water right in front of the stairs, starring unashamedly at your dearly beloved’s arm tensing as he lifted the knife, only to lower it with enough power to create a small draft, making the metal tools above the bench clack against each other.
♥ ‘What a beast…’ you thought, a small smirk creeping onto your face, warning the world that you were up to no good.
♥ With another huff the cleaver stopped, getting locked into the wood and you saw his huge body shifting, slowly, cautiously, one brow cocking up at the sight of you, questioning why were you standing there like he didn’t notice you.
♥ His gaze made you shrink back, like a scolded child, but soon enough that deviousness took over, making you shuffle towards him, gently, shyly, coy, and straight away he knew - dangerous, but he stayed still, letting you have your fun. He could always tie you in the corner if things got too wild. He had work to do after all.
♥ With a tiny giggle you closed the distance, running your hand against the width of his covered back, before ducking to escape his grasp, instead jumping before him, your grabby hands clinging onto his apron in a light embrace, unable to circle him fully, joyful eyes focused on his expression, as his head bent slightly down, eyes squinting and brows furrowing with interest, the smirk on his lisp barely visible through the dark leather, asking - What are you doing?
♥ Your cheek nuzzled into his chest, eyes closing, with a happiness painting your face, comfort and he was about to hug you, realizing that you missed him.
♥ But you ducked again, leaving his hands to hang in the air, his head going even lower, air inflating his chest to flow out a second later in a longer, slightly frustrated breath. He had work, (Y/N).
♥ Your smug smile didn’t help his frustration. His hands rested on the workbench, gaze focused on you, watching you giggle and hide under his apron, confusing him completely.
♥ That is, until he felt your hand creep it’s way up from his tights to crotch, squeezing ever so lightly. Oh. OH.
♥ Thomas allowed his shoulders to relax, a warm chuckle rumbling through his body, his eyes closing to better feel your touch, feeling the lingering ghost of your fingers undoing his belt, listening to the small clack of the buckle, the small creak of pulled leather, then the clicking of the zipper coming undone in a slow motion, a deep breath moving through his lungs and out in a huff.
♥ He shuddered, feeling your breath on his boxers, your soft lips pressing onto his hardening length, welcoming it after a long time, trailing up, kiss by kiss, till it reached the tip, pressing a bit harder, a devious chuckle sounding underneath the man as he started breathing just a bit heavier, feeling his underwear becoming more and more uncomfortable.
♥ You let one of your hands slide under his balls, stroking them lightly, while your other worked him up and down, letting you feel his member’s growth and Thomas’ growl above you let you know that he was getting impatient with your teasing. It was a good thing he couldn’t see your eye roll or vicious grin, you’d certainly get in trouble for that.
♥ Deciding it was unwise to test him any further you pulled his boxers down, just enough to free his raging cock, already leaking some pre-cum. It was nice to know he missed you too.
♥ Your tongue trailed a long, slow line from his sack up to the tip, enveloping it with your soft lips and licking it gently, slowly making your way up and down, not taking him fully, while both of your hands trailed the muscle of his tights, firm and thick. The groan above you letting you know that he enjoyed the touch.
♥ Showing him mercy you pushed him down your throat, taking as much as you could, feeling the sting of his spread in your muscles and the slight reflex of his tip touching the back of your throat, then pulling back slowly, letting yourself calm down before setting a nice pace, feeling his body heat up, muscles twitch under your fingers, him trying to hold back, to lean into your touch instead of breaking your rhythm and his temperance lead out a moan from your lips when his tip hit your back again, the man sighing in pleasure as he felt the trail of your tongue pressing on his underside.
♥ With one of your hands massaging your heat now and the other stroking his balls, you knew the time for your control would be running short and Thomas’ hand pressing on the back of your head only confirmed your speculations.
♥ The pressure shifted from your head to you the nape of your neck, gripping around it tighter, a harsh shove, making you gag, the depths of your throat collapsing around him, letting him groan in pleasure before pulling away, and you were forced down in a coughing fit, but not for long as his arms surrounded you, lifting you up and onto his chest, his back bending slightly so your eyes could met his.
♥ With one hand still holding up he trailed the other one to your cheeks, wiping away a single tear that dared come out when your reflex struck.
♥ Gently he placed you atop his work bench, leaning in to allow you the reach to his mask, a silent question if it was okay to go without it and your fingers tangling against it assured him, that it was just fine. There was no worry as it was left on the wood.
♥ And gently your lips touched his, letting him taste the saltiness of your skin, mixed with the bitter taste that he left on them, and both of you were ready for the next part… Except you’d have to wait for that.
♥ “Thomas! Come here boy!” Luda Mae called from upstairs and you could hear the sound of a gunshot soon after, right, the people.
♥ You heard growl against your shoulder, where his head rested, his hands making the wood creak under his annoyed grip.
♥ “It’s fine, go get them, darling. I’ll be waiting.” you laughed, letting your finger trail the scars covering his jaw. He rolled his eyes, an unsatisfied pout crooking his disfigured lips. “Don’t give me that attitude. It wasn’t YOU who had to stand on the sun for a WEEK to get them here! Do your part, Hewitt.” you scolded him and his face was unimpressed to say the least, chest puffing up in an angry sigh, a tongue poking out from his lips to taunt you. And you gasp. “How rude! You kiss your mother with that mouth?!”
♥ He laughed, pressing a soft kiss on your lips - No, but you? Yes.
♥ You blushed at his boldness and watched as he picked up his chainsaw, the loud revving of it filling the otherwise silent basement.
♥ “Good luck.” you hummed and he nodded, leaving for his hunt.

Baby from Two
Tumblr media
bc akiko and tanjirou can have kids even tho akiko is asexual :,,)
@thunderandrainclouds and @kny-writings have they own chiyuu and sanemiyu kids and that made me SO SOFT so i couldnt help but think up of taniko’s own kid :,,) more details on him soon, but here’s a quick thing of modern au and the lead up to how the taniko family came to be!
also thank GOD i wrote this whole thing before i broke my hand LMAO
“A child?”
Akiko looks up from her tablet, a finger hovering over the medical journal she was reading to look at Tanjirou. She thought he would be a bit nervous about bringing the matter up, but he looks focused on the task at hand instead.
Her feet are in his lap, and his eyes scrunch and his tongue is sticking out a bit as he tries to make sure that he doesn’t mess up painting her toenails a navy blue.
Tanjirou’s book lays face down on the coffee table, and the bright red nail polish that Akiko used to paint Tanjirou’s toe nails remain right by the book.
“Well, I mean yeah! Why not?” He’s finishing up, wiping some of the excess polish on the sides of the bottle.
Akiko’s face pales, “You mean you want me to birth a baby?”
This catches Tanjirou’s attention, and his head snaps up to quickly shake his head, earrings flying around his face.
“No! Oh my gods, no! I would never force you to birth a child or have sex! I meant adoption!”
Akiko can’t help the breath of relief from leaving her lips, shoulders loosening and heart slowing in pace. Tanjirou looks guilty, but when Akiko points her foot to have him resume his task, he knows that all is forgiven.
But she remains quiet, continuing to scroll through her tablet. The stillness in the air makes Tanjirou feel like he can’t breathe, but he can tell that Akiko’s mind is going through her usual pros and cons list.
For starters, Miyuki and Chiyo have already had their children. Miyuki first with Jin, who is already in her terrible twos. Then Chiyo had the twins, Tsutako and Yasu, a year later. And then the year after that Miyuki had Kousuke.
Akiko and Tanjirou aren’t too worried about being the only family without a child. Akiko could care less, and considering the fact that the two of them have to babysit so much, she already feels like she has four kids of her own.
But Tanjirou can’t help but care a little bit. Akiko doesn’t blame him. She knows that he’s wanted a big family since they were kids, and it’s mainly due to the fact that he himself grew up in a large family.
She’s just glad that Tanjirou is understanding of the fact that she isn’t comfortable having sex, and the idea of having children of her own isn’t very exciting.
But adoption doesn’t sound too bad.
“...Google says that there’s an orphanage about an hour’s drive away from here. Let me call the hospital to see if I can get a day off soon,” Akiko buries her face deeper into the tablet, shielding herself from Tanjirou’s radiant smile.
“Really?!”
“Well, we should talk to our parents about this… And we have the spare guest room to use, so I don’t think space will be a problem. I’m sure I can ask my dad for money if we’re ever in a pinch, but we’re pretty steady right now…” Akiko’s mumbling grows quieter, and Tanjirou has to lean over to lower her tablet from her face to get her to look at him properly.
His smile is softer now, shoulders no longer tense and the feeling of his hand warm.
“We’ll figure this out together, Akiko. I know we can,” and then he returns to painting her toenails.
---
“We’re so fucked.”
Chiyo and Miyuki both extend a hand out to cushion Akiko’s face from slamming into the coffee table, and Mikyuki sighs under her breath over Akiko’s bad habit.
“Hit your head on this table any more and you might loose your medical brain cells,” Chiyo chastises, and Akiko gives her a look of pure, ‘It doesn’t work like that.’
“Besides that,” Miyuki waves off, “Why do you think you’re fucked?”
The two cradle Akiko’s cheek in their hands now as she tilts her head to look at the two. When Akiko finally sits up she takes a quick sip of her coffee, rubbing the bridge of her nose.
“I know I babysit for the two of you all the time, but I honestly don’t know how I’ve been able to do that so far. Honestly I think Tanjirou has been the one babysitting for all of us.”
Chiyo tilts her head, “Why do you say that?”
“Because I’m really bad with kids.”
There’s an odd pause between the three and Akiko shifts uncomfortably under their wide eyed gaze.
Then Chiyo and Miyuki look at each other, and then back at Akiko before chorusing, “Yeah, we know.”
“Wow alright I guess I’m not babysitting anymore.”
Miyuki shrugs, “Trust me hun, we’ve known since day one. I had to show you how to hold Jin, remember? Still a work in improvement too.”
“Please stop rubbing in the salt…”
Chiyo laughs, pouring Akiko her third cup of coffee of the day before setting a reassuring hand on Akiko’s shoulder.
“I know you have trouble connecting with kids, but a part of your job is to get along with kids, isn’t it?”
Akiko sips a bit, mulling over her thoughts, “Mmm, well, yeah. But I just wave a lollipop in front of their face and promise that they get it in the end if they’re a good kid. I can’t do that with my child every day, or they’ll get cavities!”
Now it’s Miyuki’s turn to laugh, and she claps Akiko’s back harshly. Chiyo laughs along and the two laugh even harder when Akiko’s face grows beet red.
“That’s exactly what a parent would say! See? You’ll be fine!” Chiyo lightly punches Akiko’s arm, but Akiko still rubs some of the pain away. Chiyo’s arms are no joke…
Miyuki then pipes in, her own cup of coffee lifted to her nose with the steam slowly warming up her cold nose. “And besides,” she starts gently, “you have Tanjirou. Raising a child is all about teamwork, alright? You’ll be with each other every step of the way.”
---
With traffic, the drive to the orphanage took an extra half an hour. Akiko’s leg bounces in the car and her eyes read the license plate of each passing car, her mind memorizing letters and numbers in an attempt to focus on something else.
When Tanjirou moves his hand to slip his fingers through Akiko’s, she calms down a little. And then she remembers that she should be more excited than scared of having a child.
“We’re here!” Tanjirou’s bright voice breaks Akiko out of her thoughts and she blinks, clearing her vision to focus back on the hands folded in her lap.
She and Tanjirou are dressed a bit more formally for the occasion, as Akiko is in blue pencil skirt and usual billowy poet shirt. Tanjirou is wearing black pants that cling to his nicely defined legs and he’s pulled on a tight white shirt tucked into his pants. Basically, walking eye candy for Akiko to look at.
When the two step out of the car, Akiko has the chance to look up at the building.
It’s big and daunting in Akiko’s eyes, and the plethora of windows look like eyes glaring down at her. Then, she sees a couple heads pop up from the windows, and the eyes of children light up upon the sight of a car with a couple adults.
She pales at the thought of disappointing a child, and there’s a guilty feeling within her stomach when she sees older children that know they won’t be adopted. The eyes of hopeful toddlers and twins that clutch each other tightly in fear that they will be separated one day.
Tanjirou smells smoke from Akiko’s head, and her tightens his hold on her hand to anchor her back down. Then, he offers her an excited smile.
“Are you ready?”
“I need an inhaler.”
She waves off his concerned look and assures that she’s just joking around, and the two climb the steps of the orphanage building. Tanjirou does most of the talking when they reach the front desk and he fills out most of the paperwork. They’re given little visitor stickers and someone steps forward to help give them a little tour.
There’s a small craft room where kids play with clay and popsicle sticks, and Akiko sees a couple older kids working hard at japanese calligraphy.
Most of the kids are in the back playing on the playground, cheering and screaming with each other. Upon seeing Tanjirou and she, a few start to crowd around them, and Tanjirou is tugged along to play.
He has a few in his lap when they go down the slide, and he pushes a little boy on the swings to the point where the boy almost goes flying away.
A few kids grow curious of Akiko, since all she’s doing is standing by awkwardly.
“Are those your real eyes?”
“Yes.”
“What do you do?”
“I’m a doctor.”
“Are you gonna give us shots?!”
“That depends. Are you up to date on your vaccinations?”
Yeah.
She’s killin it.
She’s somehow roped into braiding a girl’s hair, and she’s struggling dearly. Tanjirou laughs when he sees how hard she’s trying, but she’s only making a mess out of the girl’s dark locks.
So Tanjirou steps in, guiding Akiko’s fingers through the girl’s hair and creating a beautiful braid.
“I’ll let you practice on me when we get home,” Tanjirou promises, and Akiko lets out a sigh of relief.
Some time later, Akiko finds herself watching Tanjirou with love filled eyes as he is turned into the playground. He easily holds a few children in his arms with another on his shoulders. When he turns around to show Akiko, the proudest smile on his face, Akiko smiles back twice as wide.
The kids laugh when they see Tanjirou turn red, suddenly shy in the face of his beloved.
“Kids look good on you,” Akiko says softly, patting his chest before the two are taken back inside to see the nursery.
Most of the babies are sleeping when the two quietly step inside with the guide. But there’s one playing by himself with a couple legos, and Akiko rushes over to wrestle a brick out of his grubby hands when she realizes that he’s about to shove it into his mouth.
“Choking hazARD-“
Tanjirou places a finger to his lips to shush her but she opens his mouth to peer inside his mouth, checking to make sure there isn’t anything else lodged into his throat.
Akiko really isn’t in the mood to have to flip this baby and slap his back.
“U- Uhm, ma’am? Please be gentle with him…”
“I’m so sorry! She’s a doctor, so she’s just doing a part of her job,” Tanjirou laughs weakly, bowing a bit to the guide before turning his attention back to Akiko.
When Akiko deems the baby okay, she sets him down. He’s a little fussy after Akiko handled him roughly, so Tanjirou steps in to pick up the baby and rock him to calm him down.
But when Tanjirou notices something, his eyes widen in surprise.
“Oh! Akiko! Look! His eyes!” Tanjirou beams, and Akiko finds the baby stuffed into her arms.
She’s holding him under his arms, blinking owlishly at the sudden predicament, but nonetheless she leans in a bit to look the baby in his eyes.
The same ginko leaves, the same molten gold, the same sunrise blend.
Akiko looks into a carbon copy pair of her own eyes.
Zenitsu’s eyes are close, but they’re a bit different. His are brighter, most hopeful, and they don’t change like Akiko’s does.
This baby has eyes that flicker between topaz and autumn leaves.
The baby tilts his head when he looks at Akiko, and Tanjirou comes closer to brush some of his inky black hair out of his face.
“He’s so cute!” Tanjirou gushes, and Akiko can’t help but smile the least bit.
“Yeah, he’s pretty cute I gues- OW?!”
Out of pure curiosity and wonder, the baby decides to shove his chubby little fingers into Akiko’s eyes.
This. Little. Fucker.
—-
“Yeah and then we adopted you I guess.”
Hiyoshi, now 16, looks at his mom with a tired expression.
Tanjirou is in the kitchen, making breakfast for the family while Akiko pets Shyoutan in her lap.
Hiyoshi looks at his mother through his thick frames, eyes no where near as blessed as his mother’s (as ironically enough.) He’s fiddling with his fingers, and Akiko sighs at his habit to hide his face behind his hair.
“And, uhm… What about Shyoutan? How did we get Shyoutan?”
The great big golden retriever has been with the family for as long as Hiyoshi can remember, and he doesn’t really know the full story as to how his parents got the dog when she was still barely been born.
Tanjirou laughs, setting a bowl of rice for each member of his little family before returning to the kitchen. Akiko chuckles under her breath as well and Hiyoshi can tell that there’s a funny story behind Shyoutan, but Akiko mercilessly stands from her spot on the couch and Shyoutan moves to let her leave.
Then, she strides over to her son and smothers his cheek with kisses, Hiyoshi trying to push his mom away from him and whining in protest.
“That’s a story for another day, Hiyoshi,” Tanjirou says, finally laying out the miso soup and the fish for his family. Everyone moves to take their seats, but Akiko turns a 180 on her son and swipes his chopsticks away.
“You know the drill young man,” she narrows her eyes. “Go feed Shyoutan before you eat.”
Hiyoshi groans, “Sometimes I feel like you guys treat the dog better than me.”
“Oh? So you don’t want to spend the day with your uncle Inosuke?”
Hiyoshi bolts to the cabinet after that, quickly filling Shyoutan’s bowl (and making it overflow, much to Akiko’s annoyance) before sitting cross legged on his chair and eating his food as fast as possible for an always early arriving Inosuke.

Can you write something about a kidnapped reader with Mr. Graves?
Again this is written with Dearly Beloved in mind and for future reference any requests/headcanons I get will be written with Delphine as his love interest. It helps with ideas for my story if I just keep writing about her in all these different scenarios.
The cold chill of New York nipped at Percival Graves’s skin after he apparated back to the city. Percival tugged his coat closer to escape the climate change. He walked with purpose down the streets, set on submitting a report of his findings to the President. The Grindelwald lead turned out to be a dead-end. Percival would have to start his investigation from scratch. The thought grated on his nerves.
“Percival!”
His head whipped around to the spot the person who had called out for him. Percival’s brown eyes locked on a beautiful woman racing towards him. A smile broke out of its own accord on his face as Delphine stood before him.
“Darling, what’re you doing here? It’s the middle of the night.” Percival chided his wife-to-be. He adored how sometimes she would be waiting for him after he sent a message ahead of of his return from a mission, however in this case, Percival would prioritize her safety over his delight. Delphine smirked at him, snaking her arms around his elbow and guiding him to a deserted alleyway. The contact sent a chill down Percival’s back for some reason. He disregarded the sensation as a reaction to the cold.
“I was waiting for you. I need your help with something.” Delphine’s eyes fluttered with hidden intent.
“What is it?”
The report could wait. Delphine rarely, if ever, asked for his help like this. Whatever concerned her must be important.
“I followed a group of suspicious wizards and saw them enter a warehouse. I think they’re fanatics.” Delphine whispered. She came to a stop and seized Percival’s hands in a painful hold. Shadows blanketed them and kept anyone from seeing their discussion. The small space of the alley forced them to press closely together.
“Why didn’t you report this to MACUSA? You could have been captured or worse.” Percival harshly said. Fear for Delphine made him lash out and squeeze her hands.
“I am reporting this to MACUSA. You’re the Director of Magical Sercurity and Law Enforcement, aren’t you?” Delphine coyly tilted her head in mock confusion.
Percival grunted and mildly glared at Delphine. He wasn’t pleased with her simple and not to mention, reckless logic. This kind of brazen foolishness was expected from one of his Aurors but not from a trained Mediwitch, they went looking for trouble not Mediwitches.
“Will you come with me? I’m worried they’ll get away.” Delphine pressed closer to him filling Percival’s nostrils with an odd smell of potions.
“I’ll go with you but you’ll stay out of harm’s way. If it comes to a fight, I don’t want you getting injured.” Percival relented with a severe frown. He could handle a few renegade wizards on his own, nevertheless he knew Delphine wouldn’t stand for him going into a hostile situation alone. She could handle herself in a duel if necessary and her healing skills might be needed if things turned ugly.
Delphine slowly smiled. Percival felt his body be pulled and squeezed in the familiar sensation of side-along-apparition. They landed in a run-down part of the city where no one but animals and vagabonds wandered. Percival pulled out his wand to scan the area. He could detect traces of wards surrounding the area. The abandoned building seemed to be the focus of the wards. This place surely must a hideout for Grindelwald’s followers.
“What do you think of Gellert Grindelwald’s philospies?” Delphine’s abrupt inquiry halted Percival’s investigation. The moon cast an eery glow on Delphine’s ebony hair and bronze skin. The black coat she was wearing made her appear as more of a deadly beauty than a gentle belle. Warning bells went off in Percival’s head but he couldn’t fathom why Delphine was eliciting such responses from him.
Percival approached Delphine. This is the woman he loves more than life. Why is his gut screaming at him to run?
“It saddens me that we must hide for fear of persecution.” Percival answered but paused after seeing the pleased gleam in Delphine’s hazel eyes. “However, that doesn’t mean I’m willing to commit mass genocide for the greater good.” He added.
Delphine’s pleased eyes darkened and her shoulders sagged in disappointment. She turned to head for the entrance of the warehouse. Percival clutched his wand tighter and raced after Delphine. He was on full alert as they entered the warehouse while Delphine was at ease.
“What’s gotten into you?” Percival grabbed Delphine’s arm to make her face him. He didn’t understand where his lover’s odd behavior was coming from. Since when did she have such an interest in Grindelwald?
The warning bells were ringing even louder in Percival’s head. The empty first floor began to pulsate with magic. A feeling of dread settled in Percival’s chest as he sensed the appearance of others.
“What a shame.” Delphine ignored Percival’s question. Her gloved hand glided over his cheeks and traveled downward. “Grindelwald would have welcomed such a powerful pureblood with open arms.”
A viscous grin was all Percival was rewarded with before his wand was yanked away and he was thrown back by a stunning spell. He fell to the ground, unable to move. Delphine’s face hovered over his and was joined by hooded figures pointing their wands at him.
“We’ve lived in the shadows for too long, dear Percival.” Delphine’s voice was the last thing Percival heard before he blacked out from the numerous spells that hit him.
“Percival! Percival, wake up!”
A scream jolted Percival awake. He jerked in his seat, frantically looking around for his attackers. Movement was difficult though when Percival was completely tied to a chair and he felt incredibly sluggish. His magic was cut off from him as well. The situation was looking grimmer by the minute.
“Stop! Don’t struggle, it only makes the ropes tighten.”
Percival collected himself and noticed the person sitting in front of him in a similar fashion.
“Delphine?!” He muttered incredulously. “How? I just saw you…What nonsense is this?!”
“No! It wasn’t me, I swear Percy.” Delphine tearfully exclaimed.
Percival’s heart tugged form how pitiful and hurt Delphine looked. She was covered in cuts that oozed fresh blood and her hair had become a mane of wild curls. Her dress was tattered and had browned form all the blood it accumulated. Percival had an urge to reach over and take Delphine into his arms. This was the real Delphine without a doubt, he felt her pain as his own.
“What happened, sweetheart?” His voice lost its edge and became softer to pacify her.
“I-I don’t know, it all happened so fast.” Delphine had to catch her breath before she could continue talking. “S-Someone bumped into me and suddenly I was at a warehouse surrounded by men…I can’t remember anything after that.”
“Why would Grindelwald’s fanatics kidnap you? They have nothing to gain from this.”
Delphine ducked her head in shame. “I-I’m sorry…I tried to resist, I really did but it all became too much.” She cried harder from her admission of weakness.
Percival’s stomach felt as though ice had been dropped into it. It horrified him to imagine what these fanatics may have done to his sweet Delphine. He was going to make them all pay.
“Grindelwald tortured me for information…I told him about you and MACUSA.” Delphine mumbled. She glanced up and pleaded for Percival’s forgiveness.
“Sh, sh, sh. It’s not your fault, darling.” Percival soothed her as best he could. “I don’t blame you. You’re alive and that’s all that matters to me.”
Percival may have felt conflicted about Delphine’s actions but in the end he cared more about her life than job. He couldn’t be angry at Delphine. As a man he was selfish. So many years had passed with him distancing himself from others that he couldn’t give up the one person he’d allowed inside his heart. His love may have made him weak but he wouldn’t trade Delphine for anything.
A door violently swung open. The imposter wearing Delphine’s face, strut into the room. Percival darkly glared at them while they openly laughed at his enraged face.
“I hope you two lovebirds are enjoying your new accommodations.” The imposter stalked up to the real Delphine, bending down to caress her cheek. “Have you missed me, love?”
Delphine cowered from the invasive touch. Percival growled at the perverted image he was being subjected to. In front of him were two Delphines that were complete opposites.
“Get away from her!” Percival ordered.
“Defensive are we? I can understand why, she is a pretty one. Not so much right now though.” The imposter twirled one of Delphine’s curls around their finger while chuckling. The laughter was brought to an end when the chuckles turned into painful gasps.
The fake Delphine’s face began morphing back as the polyjuice potion wore off. Black hair faded to blonde. Hazel eyes became heterochromatic shades of grey and black. Bronze skin lightened to a pale white. The body stood back up. Gellert Grindelwald stood behind Delphine.
“Grindelwald.” Percival hissed.
“The one and only.” Grindelwald raised his arms in a dramatic flare.
“What do you want? Why are you here in America?”
“Didn’t pet here, already tell you?” Grindelwald smirked and pat Delphine’s head like she was a dog. She whimpered and bowed her head. “I want you Percival Graves and I have a way of getting what I want.”

Friday Faves
Hi hi! Happy weekend to ya. What are you up to? The girls and I are having a Friday Fun Day – going to the Children’s Museum and then hitting up the pool with some friends. We’re officially done with camps and I can’t believe that school starts so soon! The rest of the weekend will be the usual shenanigans: lots of time with the fam, catching up on stuff around the house (I’m finally picking a paint color for the dreaded red wall), and work stuff. I have something exciting (*cough* leggings *cough*) that will be launching August 8, so keep your eyes peeled for that.
It’s time for the weekly Friday Faves party! This is where I share some of my faves from the week and around the web. I always love to hear what you’re loving, too, so please shout out a fave in the comments section below.
(Wearing this dress)
Life/random:
A momcation! I shared this one Instagram and so many friends said they used it to casually hint to their husbands that they could use a little R&R. I was feeling worn down after some rough nights of sleep around here. With the Pilot’s job transition, it has really shaken up our routine, and unfortunately, sleep has been affected. [Sometimes, I hesitate to write about sleep because I undoubtedly receive a few “You’re a bad parent! Make your kids sleep!” comments. Our kids are well-behaved, kind, polite, little loves, and sometimes they don’t sleep so well. I’ll take that any day of the week over a kid who sleeps peacefully through the night but is a jerk to other people.] Anyway, I was a walking zombie after being awake since 3:30am for about 3 days, and Tom booked me a room at the Lodge so I could catch up on some zzzzs.
It. was. everything.
I drank red wine out of a Yeti cup, snuggled on the couch in a blanket reading for 3 blissful hours, and then slept for 10. I woke up to the sun peeking through the clouds, and felt like a new human being. Cheers to doing what we need to do to take care of our selves so we can give to others, and cheers to the husbands out there who sometimes know exactly what we need.
Celebrating Nani’s birthday! The fam came over for a little birthday feast and celebration. Kyle grilled steaks and asparagus,
madre brought amazing potatoes, and I made the usual enormous cheese board,
and Uncle E’s famous pasta salad.
We drank margaritas, spent the evening taking turns holding baby August and watching one of the kids’ many performances for us, and ate cake and cupcakes. It was perfect.
Duolingo. Does anyone else use this fun tool? It’s a great way to practice another language and has been an excellent opportunity to brush up my español. (Growing up, I always did the thing where family would speak to me in Spanish and I’d answer in English. I understand it perfectly, and minored in it in college, but don’t practice speaking very frequently.) You can follow friends through the app, and it’s always good inspiration to practice for a little while each day.
Fitness:
I took at class here at Sumit Yoga in Tucson, and LOVED it. It’s been a long time since I’ve taken a really hot 60-minute yoga class. (Usually if I practice yoga it’s slightly warm and 60 minutes.) About two of the class blocks were Bikram-inspired, and it felt good to go back to poses I used to love so dearly. (In a weird way. Like I enjoy having zero amount of dry clothes on my body since I’m entirely drenched in sweat and struggling to hold poses for 60 seconds, but it felt so amazing when it was over.)
I have a Groupon for this month, so I’m excited to try more of their classes.
Looking for a kettlebell workout? Try this one!
Summer workout and chill playlists.
Don’t forget that you can still get 21 days of Les Mills On Demand for free with my link here! Try BODYPUMP, Grit, or BODY ATTACK. They’re all so good and perfect for end-of-summer travel or catching a quick workout at home. Check out my full review here.
Fashion + beauty:
So many great pieces still in stock for the Nordstrom Sale, like these cozy joggers, my fave leggings ever, this everyday v-neck, this gorgeous pendant (perfect holiday gift), the best pajamas, and my very fave bra. Some of my top picks from this years’ sale have sold out, so I’m happy that they still have a variety of sizes in stock for some of my beloved staples.
If you’ve been wanting to try the new Countertime, it’s now officially on the site as a full regimen. Check it out here! If you start with one item, I would do the serum or the supreme cream.
Read, watch, listen:

“When you stop thinking about what people think of you, you do what is needed to be done to achieve your goals without a second thought.”
“Whole Place Locked” by So Dope and 5ILVA came up on my Spotify playlist and really put some pep in my workout step.
Life lessons we can learn from our pets.
  Good eats:
This breakfast! 4 liquid egg whites, 1 whole egg, nutritional yeast and sriracha + a Mikey’s English muffin with Kite Hill cream cheese, Everything But the Bagel seasoning, and leftover asparagus.
Can’t wait to try these zucchini muffins.
Dessert is served.
  Happy Friday!
