WAIT WAIT Steddie meeting through one of those ‘who can keep their hand on the car the longest’ competitions and they are cut thrust competitive. Robin cheering Steve on, Gareth hyping Eddie up. Plotting against each other, glaring at the other person across the car. Full on shouting matches. They are both in pain from the standing. The dehydration. The sun beating on their backs.

It’s only been 45 minutes.

There’s at least 15 other people touching the car, all considering quitting because of Steve and Eddie’s dramatics.

It ends with Mike Wheeler winning, Steve and Eddie both shouting ‘WHEELER?!?’ When they realise they both know Mike their other connections come to light. They arrange to go in a revenging planning meeting (not a date) at the weekend. For ‘not being a date’, they both dress up pretty nice…
