oh the pain of finding out aussie unis are actually somewhat for-profit in a public way
#18 year old me was disillusioned by the thought they were as non-profit as unis in the u.s.#bc they’re like ‘i need dem money from the intl students’#they still provide high quality education tho! it’s not very greedy like u.s. for-profit schools#but it entirely depends on the subject#i had such shitty subjects at one point 🥲#pep talk#it is ok tho#bc i can at least work off campus
