(adding your tags back in just to say) Who said that a wereocelot was a human that can turn into an ocelot? Obviously the lycanthrope variety of a wereocelot is a wolf that can turn into an ocelot. /j

Increasingly obscure lycanthropes with correspondingly obscure weaknesses. The wereocelot can only be slain by tungsten alloys. The wereokapi can only be slain by wood from a stage used to perform musical theater. The wereherring can only be slain by a hydraulic press.

#but yeah I get your point #they probably meant werecreature or 'thrope #as I've seen in other media #wait #sorry went a internet spree uh #'thrope' refers to a small hamlet/village #so in theory it can be used as a suffix for a creature to refer to them living in community groups #but also lycanthrope uses it from something else #merriam-webster says it's a compound from lykos and anthropos #Greek for 'wolf' and 'human'#respectively #so obvs a lycanthrope wereocelot turns into a wolf
