a prominent problem with anti catradora arguments is that they dont seem to realise catra is being actively abused for most of the show. like her abuse isn't, as they say, "a bad childhood". it's not a thing of the past. she's an abuse victim reacting to her circumstances, and her main goal is to strive for (her vision of) safety. her 'lashing out' isn't her past haunting her or whatever. it's a defense reaction to her current abusive situation
