This is the first scene in this chapter that I came up with, and at some point even I thought I would have to discard it but! It suits the picnic by the lake perfectly, so here we are. The deerstalker!

Dany has exactly three dragon dreams before she hatches her dragons in Khal Drogoâs funeral pyre. Each dream comes at a time of extreme stress in Danyâs life, or when she is on the verge of some huge change in her life and I believe that these dreams have a link to each of her dragons.
Yet that night she dreamt of one. Viserys was hitting her, hurting her. She was naked, clumsy with fear. She ran from him, but her body seemed thick and ungainly. He struck her again. She stumbled and fell. "You woke the dragon," he screamed as he kicked her. "You woke the dragon, you woke the dragon." Her thighs were slick with blood. She closed her eyes and whimpered. As if in answer, there was a hideous ripping sound and the crackling of some great fire. When she looked again, Viserys was gone, great columns of flame rose all around, and in the midst of them was the dragon. It turned its great head slowly. When its molten eyes found hers, she woke, shaking and covered with a fine sheen of sweat. She had never been so afraid ⌠(Daenerys II - AGOT)
The first dream Dany has, is I believe, Danyâs dream of Viserion. She is about to be married off to Khal Drogo, a Dothraki Horselord, and Dany is understandably terrified at the prospect. Not just at the thought of the marriage being consumnated but also at the thought of how much her life is going to change, and worrying whether she will be able to adapt to the rather harsh and rigorous lifestyle of the khalasaar. But as we all know, Dany is a lot tougher and braver than she gives herself credit for.
Yet when she slept that night, she dreamt the dragon dream again. Viserys was not in it this time. There was only her and the dragon. Its scales were black as night, wet and slick with blood. Her blood, Dany sensed. Its eyes were pools of molten magma, and when it opened its mouth, the flame came roaring out in a hot jet. She could hear it singing to her. She opened her arms to the fire, embraced it, let it swallow her whole, let it cleanse her and temper her and scour her clean. She could feel her flesh sear and blacken and slough away, could feel her blood boil and turn to steam, and yet there was no pain. She felt strong and new and fierce. (Daenery III - AGOT)
This second dream is obviously about Drogon, with its scales as black as night and wet and slick with blood. Dany is having trouble adapting to lifestyle of the Dothraki. She is not used to horseriding such long distances and every night, she is in severe pain and Drogo makes this a hundred times worse by raping her every night. The situation becomes so intolerable that at one point Dany seriously considers suicide as an option. Fortunately, this second dream, which is very much a dream of Dany being tempered like a sword, gives her the strength not to give in and Dany begins to not only adapt to the Dothraki lifestyle, she begins to thrive in the Dothraki Sea. I am sure that the knowledge that she has such endurance, stamina and strength was a huge boost to Danyâs self esteem and confidence.
Ghosts lined the hallway, dressed in the faded raiment of kings. In their hands were swords of pale fire. They had hair of silver and hair of gold and hair of platinum white, and their eyes were opal and amethyst, tourmaline and jade. "Faster," they cried, "faster, faster." She raced, her feet melting the stone wherever they touched. "Faster!" the ghosts cried as one, and she screamed and threw herself forward. A great knife of pain ripped down her back, and she felt her skin tear open and smelled the stench of burning blood and saw the shadow of wings. And Daenerys Targaryen flew.
â⌠wake the dragon âŚ"
The door loomed before her, the red door, so close, so close, the hall was a blur around her, the cold receding behind. And now the stone was gone and she flew across the Dothraki sea, high and higher, the green rippling beneath, and all that lived and breathed fled in terror from the shadow of her wings. She could smell home, she could see it, there, just beyond that door, green fields and great stone houses and arms to keep her warm, there. She threw open the door.
â...wake the dragon...."
And saw her brother Rhaegar, mounted on a stallion as black as his armor. Fire glimmered red through the narrow eye slit of his helm. "The last dragon," Ser Jorah's voice whispered faintly. "The last, the last." Dany lifted his polished black visor. The face within was her own.Â
Danyâs third and final dream before walking into the pyre and waking dragons out of stone, is just after she has tragically lost her son Rhaego, who was stillborn. This is clearly a dream about Rhaegal. It is Danyâs longest dream and gives a hint of the Kings and Queens of the Great Empire of the Dawn with their eyes of opal, amethyst, tourmaline (what colour is tourmaline, btw?) and jade. It has long been a theory in the fandom that Dany is either descended from these ancient rulers or she is a reincarnation of the Amethyst Empress. Â
The most interesting thing about each of these dreams is that they all contain references to fire and blood - the Targaryen House Words.

Hey Gentry, I have more questions about wyvern au : How many divisions are there in chivalry? Are there any specializations? And how is the hierarchy organized?
First, thank you for your question, it was really fun. Second, take everything I will say with a grain of salt because itâs possible I will change things in my fics, especially designations.Â
There are basically five Orders in the chivalry, and one knight can belong to several orders at once:
The Order of the Red Dragon: the knights who are specialized in handling Fallens, but also blessed criminals and Beasts who can compete with them.
Needless to say, Endeavor is among them and Bakugou want to his member card.
They do not have to kill their targets. They can if they donât have any other choices, but itâs possible to heal Fallens, so itâs complicated.
(Many draconics scoff at the name and some claims that they should get copyrights for the emblem those knights dare to wear.)
The Order of the Blue Hound: the ones who investigate crimes.Â
They share this responsibility with the Guard (basically the police) and they shine when nobles are involved. More guards arenât of high birthed and it really helps to have a blue hound when you investigate, so you donât meet an unfortunate accident in a splendid manor.Â
âNo, Sir, I never met this Detective Tsukauchi, maybe he got eaten by a feral on his way to my splendid palace who wasnât bought with illegal profits.âÂ
It also helps because trial by combat is a real thing and if you need some illegal activity to stop right now (especially for corrupted people of power), you want a knight next to you to challenge the suspect, because you can be sure they will choose one hell of a champion to represent them.
Endeavor is also a blue hound, btw.
The Order of the Black Cat: the underground knights.
Think black market, slave trade, contraband, and so on. They have a reputation for being ruthless, and obviously, Aizawa is one of them.
The Order of the Green Wolf: originally, the ones who protect the lands.
Think rescue mission and making sure people are alright. A lot of proximity work, and they are often used as mediators between different groups. They donât get the respect they deserve. They can handle themselves in a fight, but if a situation arises, their first priority is to identify the threats, see if they can handle it, call for help if they canât, and protect civilians.
Includes the Wild Wild Pussycats and Thirteen.
The Order of the White Orca: the ones who protect the coast.
Originally, they were supposed to kill any sea monsters (a very large definition) getting too close to the lands until they got more civilized and they have now a very large activity that can be summarized by Being Friends With The Underwater Kingdoms.
Includes Gang Orca (who basically said âMOVE, IâM AN ORCA.â the first time he put a foot in the headquarters) and Selkie.
Why are there different Orders if you can belong to several of them at the same time?
Because, once upon a time, knights were supposed to be able to do all of that. If they were dropped in any situation, they were supposed to handle it without a sweat. But that simply doesnât work like that, even though all knights are trained in the basics.
First, you specialize because of what you like or what youâre good at. Second, most knights tend to get assigned territories, on which they handle specific threats.
Thatâs whatâs going to bring the Stain conflict. Stain considers that they are too many fake knights nowadays, unable to defend themselves and others against real threats.
Whatâs the point of the Orders?
Basically, apart from knowing on which door to knock if you want to learn in a specific field, itâs about conflicts of juridiction.
Any knight can butt in any problematic situation, but if several knights want to grab the case, the one affiliated with the right order is the one in charge.
And how is the hierarchy organized?
Baby steps:
First, you are a squire. Despite the name, for your first year, youâre supposed to stay in the academy and be educated, be it in the art of poking someone with a sword, etiquette, horseriding, surviving horrible things trying to eat you, and how not to look absolutely ridiculous in front of important people. At the same time, you will be given quests, little things to help people.
Second year, you start to look for guilds and knights who could bear the sight of you, and you slowly integrate yourself to a guild while you keep being trained by your academy.Â
Third year, you start to be unleashed on the world.
Technically, you can be a squire outside an academy if you find a knight willing to teach you and be responsible of you for a while.
You become a knight at the end of the three years, after accomplishing your Quest. You must complete your quest alone, and you can absolutely die trying.
Technically, again, if you do something that qualify as your Quest before your three years as a squire are over, you can graduate as a knight pretty young. Thatâs what happened with Hawks.
This is NOTÂ recommended.
Knight steps:
Knights are a happy family, and they donât need ranks, they just listen to their elders and are nice to each other, right? And the ranking is just something to know how much you get paid, thatâs all.
More seriously, there is this insidious thing where even without clear ranks, you know who is your superior. You know who are the ten most powerful knights. You know who are the thirty most powerful knights too.
And since duels are a very real thing, you know who is more powerful than you or you get your ass handed to you.
Now, there is also the fact that there is a hierarchy in term of family.
Nobles are often descendants of knights who were given a territory to protect after you did many great deeds. To keep being a noble (because you can absolutely lose your title), you need one knight every two generations or to give a very big sum of money to the âCrownâ.Â
Needless to say, if there is a -of the house X attached to your knight name, youâre considered a pretty big deal from the get go.
