my brain is trolling me this April fool’s by actually giving me some decent ideas? I think I finally know a way to write this falling-out scene in a way that satisfies me
#oooooo I’m excited :]#argument scenes are kinda difficult. Well this one was#because it’s a very important scene and I don’t want it to come off as too contrived or cliche#due to the third act breakup/misunderstanding trope#this argument is a mix of misunderstanding and deliberate miscommunication#I’m gonna have both characters’ inner thoughts be displayed so the viewer understands what each wants to say#but is holding back. so it’s not them being obtuse it’s deliberate avoidance and obfuscation#they end up lashing out both bcuz they’re frustrated w each other and don’t understand why the other is being so stubborn#and they’re both stressed having to hide things from each other#hopefully writing it goes well
