A lion's roar doesn't even seem like a roar it sounds like the big cat version of coughing up a hairball. Their stomachs even move like they are trying to heave. XD

#big cats #lions #comparing my little mister to the wild cats of africa is funny to me #i mean cats dont usually meow in the wild #the meowing they do for us #they dont communicate with roars really either unless you count caterwauling #but big cats are all so different from each other #they probably have different rules #and wild cats are different than a zoo animal that was raised by humans #which is where all my big cat experiences are and the animal kingdom is already so gd weird that at this point i think anything is possible #any cat experts out there know why they are so weird when they roar compared to other cats
