I didn’t really like Lance in the show but I’ve never realised that yeah, Lance is actually the only one who really character develops. Good for him.
Also he has Hamletta and she is the best part of the show and I wish we got more Hamletta content actually
Lance Richmond was flanderized since Episode 1 and I’m kinda miffed about it
Lance fans I’m calling you out, tell me all his redeeming moments, every time he made a peasant joke I immediately forgot them all
#i do get op tho#it’s like: why did they make me watch 4 seasons of rich guy hating poor people#just because he’s the only one to character develop doesn’t quite make up for it#they could’ve done more but again it’s nexo knights lol#idk I don’t think knights of the realm does that much for him I’ll be honest#i won’t say in case op hasn’t watched it yet#Lance is like the rich blonde bitch trope but where as sometimes it’s done well - with him it’s done not as well#he’s not all bad but idk I wish they leaned into his character growth more#even in s3/4 he’s just there sacrificing everyone’s privacy so he can do reality tv or something#like usually when they do the rich blonde bitch/mean girl trope they usually balance it out with a ‘they meant well’#like you can have superficial bimbo comedy characters who still are invested with their friends and the main plot#ie stella from winx or rarity from mlp#also I feel like whenever characters have parent problems people immediately start to kind of infantilise them and get really angsty#regardless of the source material#like in the show it’s not that deep - lance hated his parents and it was framed comedically#that doesn’t mean you can’t hc or rewrite it to go harder but you can’t say that was in the show yknow#anyways#i hope my house doesn’t get nuked either#hence why this is all in the tags hahaha#nexo knights
