#they changed/added/left out a couple things that were either unnecessary and slightly detrimental

Third time I've seen Ebisu's death scene, but that still hurts. You can't just have his last words be "I don't want to die" and then expect me to be okay. THAT'S what I mean. The characters really affect each other. And yet even where the story is now, I really don't think Yato has any idea how much of a force for good he's already been. I don't know if he knows he's succeeded. So many characters are willing to put their lives, safety, and happiness on the line because they feel like they owe him, and I don't think he knows.
anyway if anything bad ever happens to Ebisu again I'll riot
#I really wanna make posts about 1. why Ebisu's death scene was done so much better in the manga than the anime#it was SO dragged out and I cannot think of a single good story reason why they would've added in the stupid yassification beam or whatever#actually just a post comparing the anime and manga#because I don't think the anime was bad by any stretch#HOWEVER#they changed/added/left out a couple things that were either unnecessary and slightly detrimental#and there were three separate instances I remember laughing at the anime because something was silly in a slightly out of place way#ONLY TO LATER DISCOVER THAT ALL THREE WERE NOT IN THE MAIN MANGA LOL#still think it would be interesting although I'm sure someone's done it already#oh and 2. characters and times where someone has put their life on the line for Yato#cause it happens ALL THE TIME#pickle pontificates#noragami#noragami spoilers
