i know unamerican is the most disputed term of all time but calling supporting genocide an unamerican practice rly does feel uncomfortably like denial when you look at american history
#like america has supported and funded numerous genocides and committed the genocide that set the stage for every other genocide in the world#there was a post going around abt this with regards to germany about how germany never learned that genocide was bad just that that one was#like it didn't set a precedent. the nazis are bad and antisemitism are bad was the lesson they learned from it.#they didn't learn anything from the nama and herero genocide which left them free to carry out the holocaust#much like america never learned from the genocide of native americans. they never learned from the silent genocide.#or the indonesian genocide#america is able to support israel's genocide because it's american of them to do so#they benefit politically and therefore ethnicide is ok to them it's the way US foreign policy has always been#the difference today is that the victims have internet and cameras.
