i think selkie is the one brand that managed to nail what people are looking for in a bridgerton inspired fashion line HOWEVER at that price i would honestly say just make a regency inspired gown yourself .
#jordan talks#they arent super structured so they’re relatively easier than later 19the century styles#or if u care less about accuracy just go for an empire waist/long skirt/puffed sleeve and dont worry about the regency specific pleats/fit#theyd make like cute prom dress options if the teens are into bridgerton#i would be more tempted if i didnt dislike most of the pattern optiobs#i will say their ‘empire stays corset’ is very stylistically close to short stays so im pretty impressed w that#doubt it has the same functionality but looks wise? yea great 👍🏻#and i looooove what they did w the spencer inspired jackets#like i think they did a good job taking the staples of the regency silhouette + bridgerton modernization and floral motifs#like what people want is a fun collection of empire waist dresses w long skirts. thats all any brand needed to do#and yet so many failed so hard lol#i say make it urself bc they love using poly fabrics. get urself a nice lightweight cotton#im just saying this is a pattern u could find on some secondhand curtains or tablecloths EASY
