They do fill chip bags with air but its to keep the chips fresh and alive you can literally see it!! Ive seen it like a billion times, everytime I open up a fresh bag you can literally see and feel the airy soul of the chips float up and out of the bag and over the next day or so the corpse left behind becomes stale and old
#if it wasnt for the air the chips would come off the shelf old and stale and flavorless and you know it#except for this bag of corn chips I just opened#they arent as crunchy as they should be but maybe its cause i left them in the car overnight and it was really cold
