#persona 4#persona 5#meme#please go read their tags to see their cool takes on what happens instead/after to the cop characters they are good takes#but seriously the games are so pro cops it flies over it’s own head how they are made to be the villains in the context of their own world#they are useless in p4 and outright malicious in p5#the only good moment for a law enforcer in persona is when they stop acting like a law enforcer#often in these arcs (like dojima and zenkichi) they can only make personal progress when they go against the grain of what their job demand#I will just not forgive p4 for just dropping how much of a bastard cop adachi is revealed and the real life evil he embodies#plus ‘I wanna become a cop’ is just such a generic conclusion#it makes no sense for chie (though Chie’s SL is just a straight up train wreck like a lot of p4 girls#And Makoto is a cop bootlicker in the worst ways even considering her family and is such an easy out for her.#I’m sorry I’ve just spent a lot of time thinking about this and will go on too long if allowed.#Persona is a sadly a prime example of ‘wasted character arc potential’ esp with the girls sometimes#I really love your art btw it’s so cute and bubbly yet down to earth.
