Name: Plouc the Permapreg Dragon Gender: Andromorph (Cuntboy) Species: Western Dragon Height: 7' 6" Weight: 300 lbs (+450 lbs During his Permapreg) Age: 28 years old Birthday: June 19th Hometown: Artisans Home, Dragon Realms Personality: Calm, Peaceful, and Cheerful. Skills: Fire Breath, Flight, and Strength. Weakness: he can get quite heavy with his belly. Likes: Magnus, Spyro, carvings and making friends. Dislikes: Murders, blood, and being made fun for his appearance.
Story: A young artist named Emerstta walks in the middle of forest looking for an inspiration for next drawing, in daylight. As he walks towards the forest, he stumble across a magic portal door that leads in the dragon realms, where dragons lived in harmony. As he gets closer to the portal, he saw a reflection of a perma-mpreg cuntboy dragon. However, as he notice his reflection, a dark silhouette of a small dragon appears from behind him, and push him into the portal.
Everything went pitch black, his eyes are closed. His body is laying on the grass, and he feels so heavy and strange. It was until someone pushes on his big belly, telling him to wake up. As his eyelids opens slowly and his vision slowly blurred away, he saw a small purple dragon named Spyro along with his friends Sparx the Dragonfly, Hunter the Cheetah, Bianca the Rabbit, and Elora the Faun. Spyro the dragon is sits on his permapreg belly, telling him that "you're not human anymore, and you're expecting a baby dragon in you". As he surprised, he discovered he's turned into a blue permapreg cuntboy dragon, with big yellow eyes, big orange wings, horns of a steer, and claws with a big permapreg belly holding a baby dragon junior inside his man womb, with a vagina instead of his penis.
As she starts living in the first level called the Artisans Home, he started his passion of becoming a cartoonist. With a pencil and a piece of paper, along with black ink pilot pen, he starts sketching characters such as Spyro himself, Bianca, Elora, and others. As he done very well in his cartoon drawing skills, he earns his title as an Artisans as his new dragon name, Plouc.
One day, in the proposed fourth Spyro adventure, Plouc was transformed into a green emerald dragon statue and taken away by the Gnasty Gnorc's evil magic. He was later rescued by Spyro. Before he left to home world, his back is causing pain, and ask him to get some Ice Cream with Pickles and Shrimp drowning in Ketchup. Spyro raises his eyebrow and ask him by saying "are you pregnant?" Plouc responds to him and says that he's "permanently pregnant"
After the fourth adventure ends, he suddenly earning stretch marks on his permapreg belly, causing Spyro and his friends to take care of him. He later become close friend with Spyro and his best dragon daddy in the first game, Magnus the Peacekeeper. As Plouc grow mature through out his age, he started to grow facial, body and pubic hair on his face, chest, permapreg belly, and near his vagina.
Plouc loves video games as he becomes a fan of the Jackbox Party Packs, as well as a Disney World fan like Figment from Journey into Imagination ride. He wears his favorite everyday clothing: His yellow and red sweater with his name "PLOUC". He also have an experience with Tower Unite and the forgotten MMO social furry game intented for adult audience, Furry Online by darkGhost on FurAffinity.
Plouc earns his abilities to fly, breathes fire and strength by pushing obstacles out of the way and lifts heavy objects. But his permapreg belly is quite heavy, making him the pregnant heavyweight dragon in the dragon realms. However, he dislikes murderers, blood and gore, and people who poke fun of his appearance, as Spyro and Magnus protects him at all costs of his life as a permapreg dragon.
(Plouc the Perma-Mpreg Dragon is created by Emerik Steben-Taillon aka "Emerstta". Please do not steal it, use it without his permission and/or consent.)

Meet my new Spyro OC, Lady Amaryllis.
Voiced by Minae Noji (Say'ri from Fire Emblem Awakening)
https://youtu.be/65omVvAkTbo?t=76
Biography: Lady Amaryllis is a wise faun from Avalar and a skilled warrior, who knows all about Avalar's history and the world itself. When Elora was young, Amaryllis took her in as an apprentice, teaching her about everything about the Valley of Avalar, including the Talismans, Orbs, and the home worlds too.
During the three years Spyro and Cynder were trapped in crystal, she lead Elora, Daisy, Stampy and the fauns of Avalar to safety from Malefor and his evil forces. After the world was saved by Spyro and Cynder, Amaryllis allowed Elora to go on a journey throughout Avalar which she will then meet Hunter the Cheetah, Blink the Mole, and his uncle the Professor.
After the defeat of the Sorceress and the rescue of the baby Dragons, Elora returned to Lady Amaryllis to learn how to fight, where she trained her until 1 year later. (Explaining Elora's physical absence in the Spyro the Dragon games released between 2001-2005)

Spyro the dragon
Spyro the dragon is the main protagonists of the 1990’s to 2000’s video game series of the same name. They were initially developed by Insomniac Games (1998-2000), then Check Six Games (2002), Equinoxe in the same year, Digital Eclipse (2001 to 2003), Eurocom (2004), Amaze Entertainment (2005) and finally Toys for Bob (2018). I’m am only going to be focusing on Spyro in this particular series. Spyro in The Legend of Spyro and in Skylanders will be at some point in the future.
Like I said, Spyro is the main character of his self titled video game series “Spyro the Dragon”. Spyro has appeared in 10 games in total (11 if you count the Reignited Trilogy or 13 if you count it as three separate games) and has made cameos in the Crash Bandicoot series. He was also the former mascot for the Sony PlayStation. He is a small purple dragon with purple eyes, yellow spikes, orange wings and brown horns who lives in the homeworld of Artisans. But did you know originally his name wasn’t going to be “Spyro” and he wasn’t going to be purple?
Concept
While coming up with the character, one of the artists at Insomniac Games had an interest in fictional beasts (such as dragons). This artist was the one who came up with the concept of Spyro in the first place.
Insomniac initially came up with the idea for Spyro to be a green dragon named “Pete” however they couldn’t use the name due to possibly getting copyright claimed by Disney. So, they decided to change the name to “Pyro” (the Latin and Greek word for fire) but they thought that name was too mature for a game aimed for kids. The name was eventually altered to Spyro and they ended up sticking with it.
After Insomniac settled on the name, they had to decide what his colour pallet would be like. Now you might thinking “Didn’t they want him to be green?” That’s true, but they didn’t want him to blend in with grass. So, they eventually decided to make him purple due to the colour contrasting well with green whilst being a unique colour that wasn’t commonly used for dragons.
This is one of the earliest design sketches for Spyro.
Personality
Spyro has always been known to be four different things: Courageous, headstrong, eager and arrogant. But he also has a sense of heroism, friendliness and a fiery personality. He has little concern for his own safety and can be quite irresponsible at times, but can you blame him? He’s only a young little dragon.
Spyro can be a little curious but hardly cautious. He’s known to be quite sure of himself as well. You could even call him cocky.
Abilities
Spyro has gained a lot of abilities throughout the series but his main ones consist of charging his opponents with his horns and breathing fire. He can’t fly very well because he’s so young and he also can’t breathe a continuously long stream of fire, he can just spit fire bursts.
As Spyro gets older, he learns how to use his wings just like a shield, swim underwater, double jump, head dive and breathe streams of fire. In the later games, Spyro gains the power to breathe ice, electric and even bubbles. He also receives the additional power of breathing water. He is able to breathe wind and fly on his own but only at short distances.
Now, let’s get into his story.
Spyro the Dragon
Spyro as he appears in “Spyro the Dragon”.
In Spyro the Dragon, the main villain of the game, Gnasty Gnorc attacks the dragon realms, freezing all the dragons except for Spyro and his friend Sparx. The spell had no effect on them because they were smaller than the other dragons. The friends go across the dragon realms to free the 80 dragons from their Icey prison and recover their treasure in the process. After going through all the dragon realms (that’s including Gnasty’s realm and the former dragon junkyard) Spyro and Sparx have a final battle with Gnasty Gnorc and defeat him.
Later, Spyro remarks that in every good battle, someone needs a good adversary and that Gnasty was a worthy opponent. This then causes the dragons to become frozen again by an unseen character that’s presumed to be Gnasty Gnorc.
Spyro 2: Ripto’s Rampage!
Spyro in “Spyro 2: Ripto’s Rampage!”
In Spyro 2, Spyro and Sparx are on vacation from the dragon realms and notice a portal to Dragon Shores. They decide “Hey, we haven’t been there since we defeated Gnasty Gnorc.” and enter the portal. They are surprised to find that they’ve entered a realm called Avalar because residents of the realm: The Professor, Elora the Faun, Zoe the Fairy and Hunter the Cheetah had redirected the portal to send them there instead. They soon encounter a dictator named Ripto, who is enraged by the fact that they had brought a dragon to Avalar. There is a brief struggle that ends in Ripto escaping Summer Forest.
Spyro and Sparx (By Elora’s request) vist all the realms of Avalar and recover several Talismans, then pursue Ripto. They end up in a battle with one of Ripto’s minions, Crush which they win after he gets crushed under a pile of rocks (Ironic). Ripto escapes to Autumn Plains and Spyro and Sparx pursue him.
Spyro and Sparx eventually catch up with Ripto and have a fight against his mount, Gulp. Elora assists them by providing weapons. Ripto falls after the fight and Elora gives Spyro a place to rest.
Later, Spyro and Sparx decide to search for her and find themselves in Winter Tundra. They find out that Ripto survived and has locked Elora and the others out of the Tundra’s palace. Spyro and Sparx then have to travel through portals to recover enough orbs to defeat Ripto for good. After they’ve gathered enough, they challenge him to a duel. Spyro uses all the orbs he has collected for attacks while Ripto has his own orb to bring a mechanised version of Gulp. Spyro destroys it.
Ripto uses another orb to transform the floor into lava while creating a giant mecha-bird to defeat Spyro. Spyro fought the bird and defeated it, sending Ripto to what is assumed his end in the pool of lava.
Spyro and Sparx were then sent back to Dragon Shores to continue their vacation. It is then revealed in the epilogue of the game that Spyro visited Avalar after his vacation.
Spyro: Year of the Dragon
Spyro in “Spyro: Year of the Dragon”
In Spyro: Year of the Dragon, the dragon realms are celebrating the Year of the Dragon festival, a very important event. Every twelve years, the fairies bring dragon eggs to the dragon realms. This year, they’ve delivered 150 eggs. After the dragons sleep from exhaustion after celebrating too much, a rabbit named Bianca comes to steal the dragon eggs. The dragons wake up to find the eggs gone and witness Bianca with the last remaining egg in her hands. Spyro, Sparx and Hunter attempt to stop her but their too late when she takes the egg through a wormhole to the Forgotten Realms, the realm where the dragons used to live.
Since the dragons are too big to chase after her, Spyro and Sparx are the only ones who are small enough to go through and recover all 150 eggs. Hunter insists in coming along and goes through the wormhole with Spyro and Sparx’s help.
Bianca’s master, the Sorceress, alongside her, creates monsters to fend them off but their all obviously defeated by Spyro. Along the way, he makes four new allies: Sheila the Kangaroo, Sgt. Byrd the flying Penguin, Bentley the Yeti and Agent 9, the Professor’s monkey. When Spyro and Sparx arrive in Midnight Mountain, Bianca begins to realise just how far the Sorceress will go in order to obtain power and betrays her and joins Spyro. Spyro defeats the Sorceress but she didn’t die.
He had recovered 149 of the dragon eggs and collected 20,000 gems to fight her again in a region of the Forgotten Realms that was secret. He took control of a spaceship and defeated her, recovering the final dragon egg.
Spyro: Enter the Dragonfly
Spyro in “Spyro: Enter the Dragonfly”
Spyro, Sparx, Hunter and Bianca are having a celebration for the baby dragons that were rescued in the previous game gaining their dragonflies. Ripto comes and spreads 90 of the 151 dragonflies across the dragon realms. Spyro and Sparx track them down.
They eventually enter Ripto’s portal with the combined magic of the dragonflies. Ripto creates a shield for himself that is resistant to fire, Spyro destroys it and defeats him. Suddenly, he uses a magic spell to grow twice his size and create a flame barrier, causing Spyro’s fire breath to be utterly useless.
Spyro uses ice breath to bring down the barrier and freeze Ripto, who then uses his magic to grow even bigger and bring pieces of Crush and Gulp into his body. Spyro brings him down easily using his electric breath, defeating Ripto. Ripto then tries to curse Spyro, which doesn’t work too well.
Spyro: A Hero’s Tail
Spyro in “Spyro: A Hero’s Tail”
Spyro discovers that the dragon realms are being plunged into darkness by an evil Dragon Elder named Red. He, along with Sparx, Hunter and Sgt. Byrd team up with a new friend named Blink the Mole and track Red down, along with his alliance of Gnorcs (Gnasty Gnorc being among them.) and a new character named Ineptune.
They travel through new homeworlds and defeat Red. However, he escapes to his lab and builds an army by turning Gnorcs into robots. Spyro finally tracks him down only to see that he’s become a robot himself. Spyro defeated him and the Professor shrank him so couldn’t attack the dragon realms ever again.
Spyro: Shadow Legacy
Spyro and Sparx return to the dragon realms to find it in ruins by an evil force. They discover a Sorcerer is attempting to take control of the dragon realms using dark mirrors of each realm called the Shadow Realms. Spyro sets out to rescue everyone held captive by the Sorcerer and defeat him.
After Spyro saves the dragon realms and Avalar from the evil force, he finds Red in the Forgotten Realms and defeats him in a fight. Red then decides to change his ways and help Spyro stop the Sorcerer. Spyro makes his way up the Sorcerer’s lair and the two of them engage in a fight, which Spyro wins. He returns to the dragon realms where a parade was thrown in his honour.
Spyro: Season of Ice
This game is an alternate sequel to Year of the Dragon that’s set after Spyro defeated the Sorceress.
After Spyro saved the dragon eggs from the Sorceress, he, Hunter and Bianca decide to take a vacation. While Bianca was researching vacation spots, she lost her magic book in the Sorceress’ library, causing it to fall into the hands of the librarian, Grendor. He tried casting a spell on himself to make him super smart but read the spell wrong causing him to grow another head.
He began to use Bianca’s book to freeze all the fairies and scatter them across the Fairy Realms. Zoe alerted Spyro before she was caught herself and he along with Hunter and Bianca went to the Fairy Realms to rescue all the fairies, including Zoe.
When Spyro entered the first world, he found that Rhycons had infested the Fairy Realms and defeated them along with Grendor and freed the fairies.
Spyro 2: Season of Fire
When Spyro and Sparx returned from the Fairy Realms, Ripto returned as well for his revenge on the dragons by scattering all the fireflies all over the dragon realms. Which wouldn’t be so bad if the fireflies weren’t the source of the dragons ability to breath fire. Spyro and Sparx go to find all of the fireflies and eventually save them all, defeating Ripto once again.
Spyro: Attack of the Rhycons (Spyro: Adventure in Europe and Australia)
Ripto takes over the Professor’s laboratory and drives Spyro and Sparx out. They then travel through the realms to collect twelve hearts to open a passage back to the lab to confront Ripto. They eventually defeat him and he is banished until he meets Dr. Neo Cortex, the main villain of Crash Bandicoot.
Spyro Orange: The Cortex Conspiracy
This is a crossover game of Crash Bandicoot and Spyro the Dragon.
Ripto teams up with Cortex to get rid of Spyro and Crash. They genetically modify Ripto’s minions and disguise them as their two foes, leading both main characters to begin to believe that they are fighting each other. Spyro eventually meets the real Crash at Dragon Castles although, they believe that the other is the disguise Ripto minion. They realise that they’ve been tricked and team against Ripto and Cortex.
After defeating them, Crash and Spyro thank each other for their help.
Cameos
Spyro makes cameos in the Crash Bandicoot games.
Crash Twinsanity
Spyro discovers that his treasure has been stolen by someone and traces it down, he discovers that some of Crash’s enemies are trying to take the treasure and he toasts them as revenge.
Crash Team Racing: Nitro Fueled
Spyro appears as one of the racers in the Spyro Circuit portion of “Crash Team Racing: Nitro Fueled.” He is a speed based racer in the game.
And that’s it for Spyro. And yes, I will do the character profiles of the other Spyro characters in the series along with his profiles for Legend of Spyro and Skylanders. But until then, this it for the Spyro games.

Sometimes, I think about everything my animals went through before I adopted them and the lasting health and psychological issues that they have because of it and I get really angry. All of my babies are rescues.
Peaches was 3 months old when I got to him, so he got lucky. He was being kept in a 6x10x12″ cage with one toy in a house with cats that would frequently knock over his cage trying to get to him. He was never seriously injured and wasn’t there long enough to develop severe vitamin deficiencies.
Spyro was 2 years old when I got him. He had been kept in a cage half the recommended size with only a 60 watt incandescent light for heat and no UV light. His diet consisted of processed “Bearded Dragon Buffet” with freeze-dried crickets. He had developed metabolic bone disease and suffered multiple seizures per day. Even after correcting all of these issues, he has lasting brain damage and digestive issues. He still loves people, though.
Mango was from the equivalent of a puppy mill for birds. He didn’t know what toys were or how to play when I got him at an unknown age. He was terrified of people and was only just brave enough to perch on me if I stayed relatively still. He was a chronic plucker and had health issues that were never solved, even after he passed.
Now Papaya, 3 years old. He had such a severe upper respiratory infection that he needed a double-round of antibiotics to clear it out. He plucks and is terrified of hands. He had zero confidence to leave his cage or fly at first because it wasn’t safe in the home he was kept in with small children and predatory animals, with clipped wings, locked in a cage for most of his life. In just 2 weeks, he flies across the room, sits in my hand and lets me pet him while he kisses my fingers, and has his voice back.
All of these animals would have died slow, painful deaths in the homes they had been kept in. I’m thankful that I found them, but immensely sad for all the animals out there who will suffer alone until they die of illness, injury, or starvation in the homes of people who got them on a whim and never cared to learn about their needs.

Spyro Reignited Countdown - Enter the Dragonfly
Finally we get to the game called Spyro 4. And the game that singlehandedly destroyed the franchise.
Despite that, I have a lot of nostalgia for this game and have actually had fun 100%ing it.
Gameplay
It takes the basic Spyro formula and... doesn’t do it quite as well. The controls are floaty, the game is buggy, and there’s frame drops everywhere. It barely does something creative and new, mostly leaning on older games and not even doing them justice. It’s the Insomniac games but bad.
Collectables
Gems are less useful than ever. Moneybags exists in one level and disappears forever after you pay him, ultimately barely costing you any of your gems, and forever leaving you with an unsatisfactory number if you do 100% the game because he never gives them back.
Dragonflies are the collectable of the game, and much like Season of Flame’s fireflies, you need to use a new breath ability to capture them. Unlike Season of Flame’s fireflies, the dragonflies run away, and quickly. These guys don’t want to be caught, taunt you like thieves, and are ultimately the most annoying collectable to get in nearly all situations. At least when you win them, they’re automatically captured.
Powerups
Barely exist. They act like they did in Year of the Dragon when they do appear. The tasks using them aren’t particularly creative (superflame all these targets, use invincibility to walk on lava, and the like... were there even any others?).
Breath Abilities
Are honestly the one thing that makes this game notable to me. This game is the first time you get a variety of elemental breaths, and this ability lasts the rest of the series (until Skylanders, of course).
The first ability you get is Bubble Breath, which is useless in combat, but is instead used to capture dragonflies. Would have been nice to see more than one use for it, but honestly it’s used enough to work.
Next you’ll find Lightning breath, a new ability for this game. It’s pretty much the same as Fire except some things can only be affected by Lightning. Plus, it works like Fire used to in the Insomniac games, moving forward with you, while Fire breath takes a more realistic approach with particle effects. There’s pretty much no reason to use Fire over it.
Finally you get Ice breath. It works like it did in Year of the Dragon, but clunkier since the NPC platforms don’t have flat tops. Other than the one quest that needs it, the lock, and the one enemy that needs it, there’s no reason to use this breath casually.
Bosses
Or should I say “boss.” It’s Ripto again, but fought potentially three times if you care enough. There’s really no reason to do it more than once if you don’t just want the challenge. Round one has one stage, round two, unlocked at a higher percentage, has two stages, and the final round, unlocked at 100% has all three stages. I’ll describe the 100% fight since the other two are the same, but shorter.
The first two rounds are either extremely easy or unfairly difficult. You use Fire breath on round one and Ice Breath on round two to destroy Ripto’s shield. If you follow him quick enough, you can destroy his shield and hit him without him having a chance to strike back. If you don’t, his shots are homing, and he’s never missed me.
The final round he turns giant and muscled and has a fairly straightforward fight. You just dodge his attacks until he gets tired and then hit him. It’s reasonably difficult for a final boss, and is pretty fun in my opinion. Too bad you need 100% to reach this fight.
Levels
They’re too big and not quite varied enough. It’s really easy to forget how far into a level you are, and the areas mesh into one another.
But, each level is well-themed. I actually do like the ideas behind them.
It also uses the minigame area idea from Year of the Dragon, but unlike in that game, the minigame areas are considered separate levels. Some of them repeat, but add complexity each time. They’re not poorly-designed, just poorly-programmed. And some of them I legitimately enjoy, like the slide levels and the Speedways.
And yes, Speedways are relegated to being minigames. They’re just as big and complex as Year of the Dragon speedways, though, aside from missing Hunter’s Challenges. And, well, they’re still fun.
Story
It’s time for all the baby dragons from Year of the Dragon to get assigned their own dragonfly! Because Sparx isn’t unique, apparently. Despite none of the adult dragons shown having dragonflies.
Anyway, Ripto crashes the party and attempts to steal all the dragonflies, but ends up scattering them instead. This includes Sparx, but he’s found one cutscene later. It’s up to Spyro to go out and rescue them all!
Sounds a lot like Season of Flame, really. It wasn’t a bad idea, but the fact that literally every other game ignores the dragonfly lore makes this game the odd one out.
Fun fact, every one of my fanfictions uses this lore. I usually made Spyro losing Sparx, or some other dragon living outside of main dragon society and lacking a dragonfly, part of the story. Even made that part of why adult dragons in the Classic series and The Legend of Spyro look so different.
But as for the actual series, this game’s story was poorly-written.
Unique in the Series?
It’s the only game with Bubble Breath. And the only game with collectables that so aggressively do not want to be collected. Some of the minigame mechanics are unique as well. And it’s the only game with only one homeworld.
Conclusion
It’s a buggy mess with few innovations, but it tries. It wasn’t given the time to be finished, nor the experienced developers to be good. But honestly, to me, it’s an enjoyable game.

Status: played through in about 35-40 hours, guide was used on some collectibles to reach 100% on each game
Points: 3,75/5 [3,703125]
I have never played any Spyro games before and only now I actually found out how much fun these games can be, it’s a shame, especially so considering the old games are barely available anywhere and who knows if they ever get remastered, remade or ported to new consoles or pc. This trilogy was honestly on par with older Mario games or even Banjo Kazooie or Yooka Laylee, which I played a bit last year, but it was much more of a hassle than Spyro for many reasons (one being that collectibles can be detected with Sparx, Spyro’s companion and that the collectibles aren’t listed in detail in the menu (so you can opt to use guides for certain things rather than having to remember which you already got)). Either way, it is a whole lot of fun and also super easy to navigate, luckily! Something that I definitely adore about adventure games where collecting is main game.
Artwork/Design - 3,5
Spyro shows off many colourful bright and unique small worlds which are all meant to be fully explored. The very first game in the Trilogy seems rather small in comparison to the third entry, so be prepared for more worlds in the following games. The art style is absolutely the same in each entry, many cute characters of different animal species, villains and allies alike. They’re all rather adorable as these NPCs guide you through the story on many interesting paths, through snow and ice, through hot volcanos, woods, underwater, caves and so on and so forth; variety is not missing in Spyro. In addition the games include small cutscenes which are pretty humorous, but nicely animated nonetheless.
Story/Gameplay - 4
The Trilogy contains the chronologically first released games of the series, Spyro, Ripto’s Rage and Year of the Dragon. Each of the games has their own little story to tell, while the gameplay remains mostly the same, except that each game adds a little something to the existing base, may it be new abilities like climbing or controlling different characters in special worlds. The second entry remains my favourite nonetheless for its super quirky story and characters.
Spyro is of course the name of our main character, a cute purple dragon who always has something or someone to rescue. He hails from the dragon kingdom which he also has to protect by collecting sealed dragons in the first game, while rescuing a parallel world in the second game which is being terrorised by Ripto, the main villain before also having to defeat an evil sorceress in the third game which is mostly based around magic. Then again, it's a fantasy game including all sorts of fantastical elements.
Like any adventure game, it’s all about collectibles, defeating small enemies before stepping in front of boss enemies. Each game changes the collectibles ranging from dragon eggs to save the dragon babies, collecting green orbs to open up portals in order to save them or unsealing dragons to take them back to dragon kingdom. Exploring is always key and is easily achieved by displaying a map and offering you a detailed menu on what you’re still missing. In all games you have to collect gems though, which either offer you new worlds or abilities by “selling” them to a certain NPC. All of them can be found easily by using Sparx, your companion and gem guide. The other collectibles I mentioned can be found on the map or given to you in challenges (may it be the flight challenges or a multitude of different mini games like boxing, ice hockey and anything else you can imagine). Everything has this special cute Spyro charm.
Even the enemies and their designs as you either tackle or burn them. Controls are super easy, as you tackle with one button and burn with the other. There’s not much to keep in mind. The games are kept fairly easy in my opinion even if I had to google some orbs just because I couldn’t find them. Not sure how much of a challenge the original games are, but the Trilogy makes it rather easy to achieve 100-120%. Some challenges however, like the snowboard race, are quite difficult, because the controls while either skateboarding or snowboarding prove to be a pain especially when jumping (Spyro suddenly turning although absolutely no button was touched). But what is a game without small difficult challenges? Right, not exactly a joy.
Boss battles offer a mediocre difficulty challenge, too, but at least they’re fun! In addition the third game also gives you access to different characters and play styles, which can be either fun for you or a nightmare.
I did enjoy the Trilogy immensely, so if you’re a fan of action adventure games, then Spyro is definitely a good choice!
Enjoyment - 3,75

Spyro 3 Year Of The Dragon Iso Palladium
Spyro 3 Year Of The Dragon Iso Palladium Rom
Spyro: Year of the Dragon is a Platformer 3D video game published by Insomniac Games released on November 10th, 2000 for the Sony PlayStation. Ori and the blind forest definitive edition download. Spyro – Year of the Dragon. Spyro 3 (Year of the Dragon) is protected, so you need a ppf patch to play the it correctly. You two options of using this file btw: A) apply it directly (make a back first!) with ppf-o-matic to the IMG (actually a.bin image).
Sunny Villa is a Roman-themed realm in Sunrise Spring that appeared in Spyro: Year of the Dragon and the Spyro Reignited Trilogy remaster of the third game. When it hatches, it will chase after you; Burning Smileys are easier to escape from however, as they don’t seem to be as fast as the TNT Rats. The first game in the trilogy, aptly named Spyro the Dragon, not only has you rescuing dragons from their frozen state, but also tasks you with recovering dragon eggs that have been stolen by blue thieves. To free him and access his world, you need to pay Moneybags 1,300 gems. This is the highest point of the level.
To enter Crawdad Farm, speak to Zoe (the Fairy) at the exit of Sunrise Springs world, next to a signboard with Sparx’s picture on it. THERE ARE 149 EGGS IN SPYRO 3 BUT THERE IS 1 SECRET EGG IN THE SUPER BONUS WORLD. Throughout the level are 3 cannons that you can use to shoot down all 7 vultures flying around above you. This will reveal a platform. If you take damage, you can replenish health by killing the fodder (small animals) on the floor. These are easy to dodge - just walking around will do the trick (avoid their shadows falling from above). Chase him down to get the egg. Spyro 3: Year of the Dragon is the third game of the franchise. If you’ve been thorough so far, you should have a lot more by now. Unless thats some kind of bug you should change the guide for the trophy or at least make a note that some players might have to kill them using one cannon These will hatch, one by one, into crabs. For this trophy you need to flame (you can’t charge them even if you wanted to anyway) a Rhynoc in its giant form. During this time you can revisit every level in which there is a trophy you still need to unlock. World: Midday Gardens / Level: Enchanted Towers. The second one can be found after the cave with the supercharge ramp. We encourage you to read our updated PRIVACY POLICY and COOKIE POLICY. After you’ve freed her you’ll unlock the trophy. What makes this tricky is that the dragons regenerate their health over time. Note that the level listing below matches that of the main Walkthrough, not the in-game Atlas. When you launch the balloon, the trophy will unlock. If you are still looking for help with this game we have more questions and answers for you to … You can also hold for Sparx to show you the way to remaining objects. Spike is able to grab red orbs with his blaster, if he does, he will shoot out a flaming blast towards you, but this is easy to avoid, just carefully jump over it. If not, quickly grab a few red missiles before he hatches and use them against him. Get to it, and glide across to an alcove with a pool in the middle. While you fight the Sorceress, Agent 9 will shoot down various items for you via balloons, including Sheep, but he’ll also shoot down vehicles, the only way you can actually damage your opponent.

@captain-calamaria
It’s actually two, I forgot the other negative thing about the game:
Spyro: Year of the Dragon had a lot of story potential, and I mean a lot.
The story is the Sorcerer’s henchman (if this is the proper word), Bianca and the army of Rhynorcs are sent to steal all the eggs which we later discover that the Sorcerer wants the hatchlings’ wings for her immortality spell, and it’s up to Spyro with the help of Hunter and the newcomers to get them back.
But, we then learn that thousand years ago, dragons used to live in the Forgotten Worlds, which was once filled with magic due to the dragons being the source of magic until the Sorcerer banished the dragons to the other side of the world, making the magic wither away and make some portals stop function.
Unfortunately, the game doesn’t go any deeper than this which, as someone who loves darker, cruel plots (just the idea of the Sorcerer wanting to kill the hatchlings just so that “they stop wriggling so much” when taking their wings out is fucking brutal and dark, imagine if the Sorcerer didn’t wanted to kill them first, it would be outright cold blood torture)... it’s a shame they didn’t went more into detail which brings me more questions than answers:
Why did the Sorcerer banished the dragons? Did they do something to make her angry? Did she had a problem to which they couldn’t solve? Did she banished out of jealous or banished them out of anger for not having the same source of magic capabilities or wings like them and they couldn’t fix that either? Maybe that’s why the Sorcerer wants the hatchlings’ wings, in a way that she’s taking revenge over her lack or removal of her wings, who knows.
How did she found Bianca? And convinced an army of Rhynorcs to join her side? What happened after the eggs were rescued? Did some dragons returned back to Forgotten Worlds or they decided to kept it withered?
Just, I really wished that the game would’ve gone more in-depth about this story because it’s a very interesting backstory which unfortunately isn’t explored.
And then, the real ending felt.. very rushed and anti-climatic. Hell, even both final battles felt.. heh.
In Spyro 2: Ripto’s Rage, from what I’ve gathered, you had to bring your A+++ dragon game into the battle, but, in the Sorcerer’s battle, you have to use 3 variations of a cannon (the cannon, a movabl cannon and a flying saucer) to defeat her as opposed to use your own powers or even use a super boost.
After beating the Sorcerer, the Super Bonus Round can only be unlocked after collecting all the treasures/gems and the current eggs that you can collect. The name makes you think that ok, this is just a bonus round.
Actually, no. It’s a bonus round that contains the necessary final egg (yin yang) and the true final battle which is even worst at the final battle as in this one, you simply use a flying saucer to defeat her. Why not Bianca giving you a special spell that she succesfully learned where you get superflame, supercharge (to speed up flight) and superfly all at once for a great, grand and glorious true final battle?
And, the normal ending at the least gave you a small recap about the other characters and if they’re okay or not, the true ending just... shows the dragons with their babies, Spyro hands a baby to a dragon, the baby then burps, the dragon places it on the floor, baby burps again, Spyro does his iconic “oh goodness..” head shake and that’s it.
You go back to the game and that’s it. Honestly, it’s very anti-climatic after a ong, challenging game...
But, really, other than those two factors, I found the game to be enjoyable and makes me want to play it despite it’s flaws.
#captain-calamaria#lps100 derps#only after watching spyro 1 livestream i will make a short post with my thoguhts of both 3 games#cant wait to play them tho

Spyro’s Backstory
Born from a union between a Artisan and Peace Keeper, Spyro has the powers of both his parents. When his egg was laid by Sophia, he was named Darian by Gahlec, which meant 'Upholder of the Good'. A younger Arwen was finally glad to have a baby brother, and she couldn't wait to meet him. However, Spyro was stolen from Gahlec and Sophia by thieves while their backs were turned. But one day he was was rescued by Nestor, Leader of the Artisans, and he raised Spyro as his own child. When he began to breath fire, Elder Tomas took in Spyro as his apprentice and started to train him in the art of fire breathing. While reading legends about a legendary knight one rainy day, Spyro became inspired by his incredible feats and decided to one day become a hero like his new-found idol. Years later, Spyro saw an opportunity for his dream to come true when Gnasty Gnorc crystallized the dragons and stole their treasure, and it was up to him to save the day. After a long and perilous journey, Spyro finally managed to defeat Gnasty Gnorc despite his small size, and was at last a hero like his idol. That wasn’t the last of his adventures, however to his dismay. Spyro had to thwart the plans of many other villains as well to keep his world safe from threats like Ripto, The Sorceress and Grendor.

» AXIMILI-ESGARROUTH-ISTHILL -------ANIMORPHS
Younger brother to Elfangor-Sirinial-Shamtul, Aximili had feared of always living in his older brother's shadows, despite the warmth and affection the two shared, especially as he had always looked up to Elfangor. His brother was a war hero against the Yeerks, an species that sought to bring control over every world they can for hosts (for the Yeerks are parasites by nature, and in need of hosts to live beyond the world of sludgy pools that, in essence, were their very reason for staying alive). But as any younger sibling would, Aximili would hope to one day outshine his brother.
Little did he know that he would get to in a very nasty way; he would end up becoming the sole survivor on the Andalite fleet ship GalaxyTree, crashing into the alien world's oceans where he had to wait for months before he could be rescued. And that rescue were done by those that his brother would break the ultimate code before dying... the Animorphs, a group of Earthling kids who were the only ones to fight the Yeerks while needing to wait roughly over a year before Andalites would be able to send help.
Many battles had been won, several more were lost. Aximili had served the leader of the Animorphs as well as he can, the one he would call Prince Jake. After a little while, he had begun to truly accept them, and had become a loyal member to fight the Yeerks. After the final battle, and a uneasy solution was truly found between the Yeerks and the rest of the galaxy, Aximili was able to stand in the same spotlight that his own brother had stood. While it didn't bring him the joy that he had expected long ago, he felt as though he could be content, knowing that his brother was proud for what Ax had managed to accomplish.

» CYNDER -------LEGEND OF SPYRO
Cynder was born in the same clutch of dragon eggs that Spyro was in during the Year of the Dragon, making her and Spyro the same age. On the night the Dark Armies raided the Dragon Temple, the Ape King Gaul kidnapped Cynder's egg, choosing her to be the dragon who would free the essence of the Dark Master, Malefor, from his prison in the Convexity. She was corrupted by Malefor's dark powers shortly after hatching, which transformed her into a monstrous and horrific adult dragon brainwashed to do Malefor's bidding. But after being freed from his control and brought back by Spyro would Cynder truly begin to be her own dragon.
It took a lot of soul-searching, as she had been plagued by the guilt of everything she had done by the bidding of Malefor, one in which many creatures wouldn't let her forget. But after overcoming her past demons and rising to the challenge at Spyro's side, she was able to conquer not only her own self-doubt but to put to rest what had once been her sole purpose of living; Malefor's defeat.
While she has truly strong feelings for the purple dragon, Cynder would still struggle to find the words to form a summary of how much she loves him. Even after Malefor's final defeat and being dragged into the central gem by the ancestral dragons, confessing a simple uttered confession as she refused to leave him to mend the world that was breaking apart, she's unsure if he truly recuperated her feelings. But she intends to continue to remain at his side, whether as merely a best friend or more.
VERSES:: Wings of Fire (tba)
» GIG -------SOUL NOMAD AND THE WORLD EATERS
"The destroyer of everything!
The commander of the World Eaters!
But hell, you can call me Gig."
Gig is the Master of Death, a powerful entity hailing from the world called Drazil that was sent to the world of Haephnes, under orders by the rulers of Drazil to wreck havoc and to send as many souls from that world to the other as he could. While he certainly did accomplish the goal in some regards, he did it with a kind of savage glee that had nothing to do with it being his job. However, Haephnes had a fair number of heroes that would rise to the challenge; in such, one would come to fight Gig when others had failed. And that was the original Layna (with the aid of Virtuous), who would sacrifice her very soul so that the Master of Death would lose his body and become sealed in the Onyx Blade. For the next two hundred years, he had remained sealed, and the three World Eater titans that served him were put into a sleep.
However, things would not stay peaceful, especially as the rulers of Drazil were impatient for their need for more souls to come to their world. The three sleeping World Eaters were waking and would resume their havoc without Gig commanding them. Soon, Lady Layna (the body in which would come to house Virtuous but had kept the name of the original owner) had to find someone who could not only wield the Onyx Blade, but as well as keep Gig in check who wouldn't stop at taking over the body and forming himself anew. That would come to the one called Revya. As the one who would wield him would slowly uncover throughout the journey to stop the three World Eaters though, Gig was so much more than the eye would see.
AU Verses;; Dragon Ball Z/Super
» KID -------CHRONO CROSS
Talented as a thief and a world traveler, Kid always appears to be a carefree individual who took what she'd need (unless of course the other totally deserves to lose all their coins, then she'll take a lot more). But back before her chosen lifestyle, she was found as an baby orphan and had been raised by Lucca, who'd form an orphanage where she took in other homeless children. Up until she was eleven years old, she had a good life, until tragedy struck; the orphanage was burned down by an demi-human name Lynx along with his ally called Harle. Lucca was killed in the process, and most of the other kids would drift off to find another life, leaving her to fend for herself where she sword to herself that she'll get her revenge on Lynx.
However, there's a lot more to her than a petty criminal with a scarred childhood memory; Kid is the daughter-clone of Schala, a woman who was bound to the old entity called Lavos, though upon absorbing the woman would become the Dream Devourer. Having feared for what little mind she had as she was slowly corrupted while bound to the entity, she had opted instead to send the part of herself that could be saved out as a clone, which resulted in Kid being born, given the pendant that was the family's heirloom, and sent to Lucca on purpose rather than simply found by chance.
Having saved a guy named Serge, Kid would attach herself to his company; after having overheard the Acasia Dragoons were looking for him by the orders of Lynx to apprehend the 'ghost boy', she knew that Serge would be the best chance she'd get to finding the demi-human that had destroyed her childhood, killing Lucca whom she regarded as close to a mother as one could get. From there, history was in for a lot of alternations.

» TENEBRAE -------TALES OF SYMPHONIA: DAWN OF A NEW WORLD
The Centurion of Darkness, one of the eight elements, servant to Lord Ratatosk, Tenebrae is a well-mannered creature who governs over the element as well as those that used darkness as their element. Like the rest of the servants, he had been slumbering and rarely interacting with anyone outside of the small group as well as Lord Ratatosk. However, things would change when two humans would come along into the world of Ginnungagap, at first to warn Lord Ratatosk of the world's mana crisis, though things would escalate, resulting in one human in being killed, driving the other to kill the summon spirit. Lord Ratatosk was reduced to his core state, and before the remaining human could destroy it, Tenebrae had awoken, taken the core, and fled to the surface to save him.
Meeting Marta on the surface, who wanted to keep the core of Ratatosk safe from the Vanguard who also wanted the summon spirit's core, Tenebrae would team up with her, developing a kind of admiration for the girl. When they were separated in the city of Palmacosta during what would become known to history as 'the Blood Purge', Tenebrae would come to find Marta with a fake core attached to her forehead, and the real core had taken on a human guise so as to hide in plain sight. Understanding the situation, Tenebrae wouldn't reveal any of this to Marta, or, later on, to the man called Emil until nearly the end, who would turn out to be the guise of Ratatosk... in the image of the last human he killed.
Filled with information and facts, Tenebrae had proven to be both an infallible source of knowledge as well as brimming with useless facts. Oftentimes he'll inform the group of tidbits of knowledge (whether they wanted it or not), though there are times that his spiteful side would make him less than helpful.
» CAPTAIN BENJAMIN FRANKLIN “HAWKEYE” PIERCE -------M*A*S*H
Born and raised in Crabapple Cove, Maine, Hawkeye is the son of Dr. Daniel Pierce, and an only child. His nickname "Hawkeye" was given him by his father, taken from the name of a character in the novel The Last of the Mohicans, the only book Hawkeye's father ever read. He doesn't remember much about his mother, as she had died very early in his life, and it's little wonder that he is as close to his father as he is.
After his medical residency in Boston, Hawkeye is drafted into the Army and assigned to the 4077th MASH (Mobile Army Surgical Hospital) during the Korean War. Between long, intense sessions of treating wounded soldiers, he makes the best of his life in the isolated Army camp by indulging in heavy drinking, carousing, and pulling pranks on the people around him, particularly Majors Frank Burns and Margaret Houlihan, which later on would include Major Charles Emerson Winchester III, when Frank leaves.
Hawkeye proved time and again to be an excellent surgeon, which was rewarded by Colonel Blake when he was reluctantly appointed Chief Surgeon, much to Frank and Margaret's disgust; a warranted visit from General Barker eventually convinces him that Blake made the right decision. He has a very strong moral code, and often questions the validity of the war and why they're all there in the first place. He loathes racism and is angered whenever someone else uses ethnic slurs.
» LEO -------JUNGLE TAITEI/THE NEW ADVENTURES OF KIMBA THE WHITE LION (1989)
Strong, passionate about freedom and justice, and never backing down from what he believes to be right, Leo is a fierce lion who tries to be friendly as well as offer advice as needed. However he wasn’t immune to flaws - he has one hell of a temper when pushed to the brink, as well as indecisive when it comes to whether following his father’s teachings or doing it his own way. Sometimes he struggles with the identity that animals associate him to (his father’s) and his own.
Leo is an rarity among all lions - like his father Panja, he was born with a white coat. With only a tuft of black at the end of his tail and the tips of his ears black, he was the spitting image of his own father. However, Leo would never meet his father and would only know his mother for a short time. Before he was born, Leo’s father had been the ruler of the jungle, always thwarting humans that would dare come to his territory to hunt his subjects as well as keeping order and harmony. But his pelt was greedily sought for by many poachers, which more often than not was the reason they would come to the jungle in the first place. This event would happen before Leo's birth.
Born on a human ocean ship that was taking his mother overseas in the hopes that the cubs she bore would have the father's white coat, Leo had only known that small world for a much shorter length of time. Eriza would tell him stories about his father, how strong and brave Panja was as he would protect the innocent and would do everything in his power to do right. This would fuel Leo’s morals as he wanted to be just like his father, and even when he did eventually make it back to the jungle, his mother's stories would still inspire him, despite much of his early memories growing hazy over time and age.
VERSES:: Kung Fu Panda (tba)
» SOREN (BOOK INTERPRETATION) -------GUARDIANS OF GA'HOOLE
Soren, a male barn owl, (Tyto alba), leader of “The Band”. Soren was born in the Kingdom of Tyto, where he lived with his father, Noctus, his mother, Marella, his older brother, Kludd, his younger sister, Eglantine, and the family’s nest snake Mrs. Horace Plithiver. He was snatched by patrols from St. Aegolius Academy for Orphaned Owls after somehow falling from the nest, a terrible place filled with owlets that were similarly snatched from their families, most never having been orphaned. The purpose of this 'academy' was to moonblink owlets and making them do many various tasks as mindless slaves, from hatching snatched eggs to picking apart pellets to find what were called 'flecks'. He later escaped with his friend Gylfie and together the two met Twilight then Digger before journeying to the Great Ga'Hoole Tree.
It's later revealed, after rejoining with his nest maid Mrs. Horace Plithiver, or better known as Mrs. P., that Kludd had pushed him out of the nest on purpose. And it would be much later on that killing a member of one's family was part of the initiation process of joining the Pure Ones. And someday, Soren would come face to face with his brother, who had achieved much more ambition since officially joining the Pure Ones, under the alias Metal Beak after having taken over as leader of the Pure Ones, with his mate and second-in-command, Nyra.
After joining the the owls of the Ga'Hoole Tree, Soren and the band were put into groups of owls that were named 'chaws', each chaw specialized in specific talents. The Barnowl was double-chawed in weather interpretation and colliering, meaning that he was to not only learn how to fly in any weather, but to also learn to collect coals so as to stoke the fires of the Ga'Hoole Tree. This would be when he would soon be taken under wing by the ryb (teacher) of this particular chaw, Ezylryb.
VERSES:: Kung Fu Panda (tba)
» GIN -------GINGA NAGAREBOSHI GIN
Gin, second-generation leader of the Ou Army, inheriting the position from his father Riki after the battle with Akakabuto and his massive army of bears. Gin is a silver-brindled Akita dog, which are some of the most prized dogs to track and kill bears, said to be the strongest of the Akita dog breeds. The man that had raised Riki and the whole line that Riki had descended from, known as Grandfather by many, had taken Gin as a puppy to train him after losing Riki down a chasm while hunting down the massive murderous bear known as Akakabuto. Enduring many months of tough training that many wouldn’t considering putting a dog through much less a pup, Gin had grown into a strong young dog. He was just as determined to defeat Akakabuto as Takeda Gohee (Grandfather), for killing his father.
Soon following comes the event where Gin would come across a pack of wild dogs that were gathering recruits for their army, as ordered by their mysterious leader. One of the generals known as Cross would tell him to go home, but Gin was determined to join the pack, eventually able to meet the leader. It was with great surprise that it was his own father, Riki! However, the leader had suffered from loss of memories due to the fall in the chasm, only holding onto the vague memories he had of the fight with Akakabuto. After the end of the war with Akakabuto, Gin is now the leader of one of the greatest pack of Japan, having gathered some of the best fighters that had joined to bring down the strongest and dangerous bear. There was now only peace…
Gin is a natural born leader with a lot of charisma, known for being brave and strong. He has a strong sense of justice and wants to protect his friends and all those who are unable to protect themselves. He isn't afraid to die for his friends or his mission that he believes in. Mostly due to the training during young age, he became more mature than most dogs of his age and is mentally strong and unlikely to give up, which means that he isn't all that playful and tends to be quite serious. Though he can sometimes joke around with close friends like Smith, even if it's done a more shy way, given that it doesn't come as naturally to him.
» LARA CROFT -------RISE OF THE TOMB RAIDER
Resilient, strong-willed, open-minded, Lara Croft has come a long way from the days where she didn't believe in the supernatural and had been a far more timid but energetic girl; several events had come to help her open her eyes to the world on a far larger scale and come to accept that the world is far more than the modern day will reveal. She is confident with her ability to adapt and respond to situations, especially in a life-and-death situation where it would have otherwise killed someone else.
It's not to say that she doesn't have issues that would come having to experience everything that she had. Lara is always fighting with her personal demons at having to kill in order to survive, though she will always rationalize it in the mere fact that if she hadn't done as she had, she wouldn't be alive today, and would do so again, especially when her friends are in trouble - after having lost her mother to an illness, and then her father through the actions of the organization called Trinity, she has come to deeply care for those that she grows close to.
She has but one main purpose for all the travels she endures; to thrawt the same organization that had killed her father and framed it as a suicide, though it's not as simple as wanting revenge. This organization is dangerous because they have goals to change the world, and they would do it with any means of an artifact that holds such powers. If she can reach the artifact first and keep it out of their hands, it would be plenty enough until she can start wiping out the cells of the organization, however she can.
» ALEX FIERRO -------MAGNUS CHASE AND THE GODS OF ASGARD (PERCY JACKSON UNIVERSE)
Alex Fierro is a gender-fluid einherji, a child of Loki, and an astonishingly powerful shapeshifter. When he first arrives in Hotel Valhalla—identifying as male at the moment—he turns into a cheetah, destroys his room, and attacks his new hall mates. Later, she (female now) transforms into a weasel and tries to escape the hotel. She finally appears in her human form: a hauntingly attractive teenager of slender build with facial features that closely resemble Loki’s, minus the scars. She wears layers of pink-and-green clothes—skinny green pants, a pink-and-green sweater-vest, rose-colored high-top sneakers, and a second sweater, also pink, tied around her waist. Her hair is green with black roots, and she has one dark brown eye and one amber-colored eye.
Alex’s parentage arouses suspicion at first, much as her half-sister Samirah al-Abbas’s did when she first came to Hotel Valhalla. In time, Alex proves herself to be a trustworthy addition to floor nineteen’s group. She’s a fearless fighter, wielding her weapon of choice—a garrote made from a wooden-handled clay-cutting wire—with terrifying efficiency. She helps Sam to see her own shapeshifting ability as an asset and to resist their father’s mind control. After years of being shunned for who she is, Alex holds most people at arm’s length. But she comes to trust Magnus, and ultimately allows him to get closer to her than anyone has for a long time.
» MERLIN JAMES MACKINTOSH QWILLERAN (QWILL) -------"THE CAT WHO..." BOOK SERIES BY (LATE) LILIAN JACKSON BRAUN FACECLAIM;;ARAKAWA (THE MELANCHOLY OF HARUHI SUZUMIYA)
Qwill is a resident of a place called Mooseville (400 miles north of everywhere), his past work history including being a crime reporter and writing news columns in many major cities, as well as an author to the book "City of Brotherly Crime". He had only recently become a millionaire (or billionaire) from a fluke of his family's friend leaving him as her sole heir upon her death. However, he had retained his thrifty tendencies and is reluctant to spend the money on himself.
Setting up what's called the Klingenschoen Foundation to distribute his wealth among the community, the town is ever improving and hails him as a local hero despite being previously an outsider. Now he's a column writer for the recent newspaper owned by his best friend Riker (whom in which was at the behest of Qwill) called the "Moose Country Something", posted two times a week and often always in need of a new story.
Koko, his ever extraordinary cat, is a well-known figure among the police force and Qwill's close friends. Digging into cases that stumps the police force, he had been able to solve many cases, some in which were thought to be closed years before, having Qwill follow the clues and leads Koko would reveal, all the while not showing more than catly whims. It is unclear to the poor human whether it's all just coincidences, or if the cat is smarter than he'd ever know.
» ACORNA -------"ACORNA THE UNICORN GIRL" BY (LATE) ANNE MCCAFFREY AND MARGARET BALL
An alien girl found drifting in an escape pod in space as an infant, she was raised by three human asteroid miners, Gil, Rafik and Calum, who would all regard her at first a curiosity before coming to love her as a shared daughter. They would name her Acorna, partly because of the growing golden spiral of horn on her forehead as well as the quatrant of space they’ve found her, where they named mineral-bearing asteroids with the letter ‘A’. Her deformities were unique to humans; the horn, her cloven feet, furred legs as well as her four fingers that lacked a third joint were all part of what seemed to be her unique being.
In the very short years that her foster fathers were caring for her, she had been targetted by several various people for their own reasons. Scientists wanted to study her, doctors wanted to "fix" her deformities, and even Rafik's own uncle wanted to have her as part of his collection of rarities. But she had grown up far faster than anyone could imagine, including reaching her maturity at around a mere five years. Those that sought her out, only a few of them would want to have her on their side for the good of others.
This would lead her to meeting another very successful man by the name of Delszaki Li, who wanted her to be the center of the plan to eliminate child labor on his world Kezdet - this, in which, would ultimately be her true beginnings of her legacy that went beyond her mere strange appearance. After the cruel practice had finally broken up and freed the children to be taken to a new home that would help them learn to live a true life, Acorna found that she had truly made a difference. And she'd only want to continue to do so, even when the search for her people would be on everyone's minds.
» ELIZA THORNBERRY -------THE WILD THORNBERRIES
Eliza is a young girl who has a family that travels the world, their quest to find animals for their parent's show "Nigel Thornberry's Wild Show", to share the wonders and facts about these amazing animals to the rest of the world. Elixa is the youngest sister, with her sister Debbie who's five years older. They are also accompanied by the wild child they named Donnie, and a chimpanzee that's named Darwin. This particular child had always ever known the comveee life of traveling and has extensive knowledge on animals thanks to her parents. In all definition, she's a nerd, right down to having braces and glasses.
But there is one secret that she has, one that she must keep to herself from other people if she wants to keep the power; the ability to talk to animals.
Making friends with animals had become a lot easier when one could understand them, and they in turn knows that there was one enthusiastic human that would listen to them. Sometimes, this power had brought more trouble than good; predators attempting to take advantage of her, involving the young girl in troubles that she'd be well over her head with.
There is only one other person that had come to know her secret (a struggle that had briefly rendered her without this power), and that's her big sister Debbie. The teen has always had trouble understanding her younger sister and her obsession with animals, not when she's struggling with wanting to be normal. But now? She sort of understood, especially when her sister had lost the power in order to save Debbie's life.
» LUCIFER MORNINGSTAR -------LUCIFER (NETFLIX SERIES)
The Devil, Satan, Old Scratch, Lucifer is known by many names, all feared and hated by humanity (except for the better minded individuals who don't blindly follow his father's little book). Having been forced to rule Hell for countless millennium when his take-over for Heaven had failed, resulting him to be banished, he longed to break free of this forced imprisonment. And one day, it would bring him to Los Angeles, becoming the owner of his own nightclub that he named Lux. His closest friend, personal bodyguard and longtime servant, Mazikeen, would follow him out, devoted to the fallen angel though determined to return him to Hell one day... for his own good, as well as the good of keeping Hell in check. With excessive reluctance, she would cut off his wings when ordered to.
The last few years, he had made himself a reputation, all the while not even attemptin to hide who he was from the world. Most humans assumed that either he changed his name to 'Lucifer Morningstar' so as to make his club all the more interesting, or his parents were anti-Christ supporters, which in either case amused him. However, even while he parties hard and has certainly kept his bedroom skills regularly tested, Lucifer is and always has been a punisher. The wicked needs to be punished; this was perhaps one of the reasons he was sent to Hell, not just because he tried to overthrow his father.
Circumstances worked in his favor as, when one of those that made a deal with him long ago returned to thank him for all he's done for her had been shot and killed in a drive-by, it would eventually lead him directly in the path of one Detective Decker. Instantly intruiged by her and her ability to resist his ability of persuasion that had made almost every being except angels to reveal their deepest, darkest secrets, he'd also secure himself a spot as a 'civilian consultant', working with the police, though more specifically, with Chloe.
» RICHARD B. RIDDICK (RIDDICK) -------PITCH BLACK // THE CHRONICLES OF RIDDICK
Riddick is a man of many skills, with a reputation that makes him a highly wanted criminal in all the universe, enough where the bounty on his head is within a million's worth. Yet he won't hide what he is, going so far as to introduce himself as 'escaped convict, murderer', just to keep people on their toes. He has no desire to get close to people; everyone he'd dare to care about often gets killed despite his best efforts, so he'll keep everyone at an arm's distance.
Born a Furian on the world Furya, his people would be massacred on whole by a Necromonger that was warned that a male Furian would be his downfall; Riddick has dim memories of the events, of being strangled with supposedly his mother's umbilical cords and left among the bodies. It's unclear who had found him and taken him off-planet to raise him, and he pushed those memories deep down where he had almost forgotten them until later on, when facing the very same Necromonger who became the leader of the Necromongers.
As soon as he was old enough, he joined the Company as a ranger, learning to pilot ships and to be a sweeper (those who worked in the tunnels to draw out hidden predators). He quickly earned his promotions to join the Strikeforce academy, learning to be an efficent soldier. But the more he worked for the Company as an enforcer, the more corruption he found, and had attempted to speak out against them with evidence to boost. Needless to say, the evidence was destroyed and he was sent off to prison called Deep Storage. This was where his criminal life began, and within the next few years, he escaped the prison and earned his first million credit bounty. He'd since then been on the run, dodging mercs and bounty hunters, oftentimes captured and sent to a prison only to escape it later. Riddick had killed enough people to earn the fear of one prison system that wouldn't want him in their system again.
At some point, he came to be hunted once again after hiding out on a world of literal ice and snow, learning that this bounty was put on his head by someone he thought he could trust. Events would follow that it was an attempt to get his attention and to recruit him into the struggle against the very people that had killed most of his own kind... one he had refused at first. That it wasn't his fight. Yet... fight he did, and while it was because of him that the Necromongers would be stopped by their very rule, "You keep what you kill", it came with a very heavy cost.
He was leader for a brief time with the Necromongers, but within the next few years, he'd disappear once again, leaving the throne for Vaako to take. No one knows why he left.
No one knows what this meant. Except, perhaps, that the hunt was on yet again for the bounty on his head that never went away. Just no one was foolish enough to attempt to take it until he was no longer surrounded by an army.
» RAVENPAW -------"WARRIORS" BY ERIN HUNTER
As a kit born in ThunderClan, Ravenpaw had great ambitions to become just as amazing as a warrior like the older cats. Almost every kit would hope to be the greatest warrior, perhaps even become leader of the clan one day. When his sixth moon had come, making him old enough to become an apprentice and have his name changed from Ravenkit to Ravenpaw, he was given perhaps the most strongest warrior of the clan as his mentor, Tigerclaw. While the great warrior would push him hard in training, Ravenpaw had been honored to have someone like Tigerclaw. He strived as hard as he could to be the best apprentice he could be for the tom, aware that praises would be few and far between.
But the honor would change to horror when, during a skirmish with RiverClan over a patrol in trying to reclaim Sunning Rocks as part of ThunderClan's territory once again, Ravenpaw witnessed a terrible crime. Even though the deputy of the clan, Redtail, had managed to kill the deputy of RiverClan Oakheart, driving the rest of the RiverClan patrol away, Tigerclaw had ordered Ravenpaw to run back to their camp to get help. Sneaking back, just to make sure that his mentor and the deputy were okay, he'd watch as Tigerclaw would suddenly attack Redtail, killing him with no remorse.
Ravenpaw would come to live in terror ever since returning back to camp, unable to tell the clan what he had witnessed, barely managing to get out that Redtail was dead before collapsing. When he would come to, Tigerclaw had returned, dragging Redtail with him, and proclaiming that during the skirmish with RiverClan that Oakheart was the one to kill the ThunderClan deputy, and that Tigerclaw had been the one to kill Oakheart. Unable to tell the truth now that his mentor had established his story, Ravenpaw could only pretend that he was still oblivious like the rest of the clan... but there was no way to be certain that he was truly safe.
» MAPLESHADE -------"WARRIORS" BY ERIN HUNTER
Mapleshade was once a loyal apprentice and a bold and skillful warrior of ThunderClan. It was believed by some that she would be leader one day. However, she made the tragic mistake of falling in love with a cat from RiverClan, named Appledusk. She kept this a secret by meeting him near the river, sneaking out at night with no cat noticing, but then one day she gave birth to his kits. The medicine cat Ravenwing eventually deduced that Appledusk was the father of Mapleshade's kits, which caused an uproar to ThunderClan and they banished Mapleshade and her kits from the Clan forever for betraying the warrior code. The former ThunderClan warrior had no choice but to cross the river along with her kits, but the swelled water swept them away. Mapleshade almost drowned trying to save them, but they were already gone even as a cat, Appledusk, had found her and dragged her to the other side. To her horror Appledusk blamed her for the accident. He wanted nothing more to do with Mapleshade, and RiverClan refused to let her stay, not even for just one night.
Alone now, from ThunderClan, RiverClan, and even Appledusk, the cat she loved most, Mapleshade had no choice but to live as a rogue. She felt a strong sense of hatred for RiverClan and ThunderClan, for the way they treated her. Her kits, too, were haunting her as spirits, crying out to her in wails without ever answering her. Deciding that this was a sign that she needed to take revenge, especially when a sympathizing apprentice who found her sick and had brought her herbs revealed some distressing news, the former warrior had sought out the three cats that had been the worst offenders - Ravenwing, the ThunderClan medicine cat that ousted her secret before its time, then afterwards Frecklewish, the ThunderClan warrior that could have helped her drowning kits but had chosen to do nothing, and finally Appledusk, for betraying her when she needed him most.
Ravenwing and Frecklewish had both been killed, catching the medicine cat at the Moonstone before killing her former friend the next day at Snackrocks with one of the adders trapped in the rocks. Capturing Appledusk’s apprentice Perchpaw to bring the RiverClan warrior to search for the young cat, she revealed herself and challenged him to a fight after accusing him for not saving their kits, which he said it was her fault, though he refused to fight initially. It was only when his pregnant RiverClan mate Reedshine came along and sent Mapleshade into a fury that he dodged into the she-cat’s claws when she attempted to kill Reedshine, killing him instead. His apprentice delivered a fatal bite to her neck, to which she would weaken and die even after fleeing the territory.
However... death was not the end for a vengeful spirit.
» FRANCIS -------FELIDAE
Francis is a very smart and cultured cat, very different from many other cats. He's involved in many adventures, because of his uncontrollable curiosity and desire to solve cases of murder that affect the cats community. Differently from many cats, Francis exhibits an exceptional intuit and intelligence that bring him to solve complicated cases to reveal the killer (or killers). One of his main features is that Francis doesn't hold back from personally facing the killer and has pointed how a true detective should ever have "sharp claws".
Francis has a pessimist mentality with great tenacity and morality, condemning the actions of many of the killers he has to face. This makes him a very complex being. He often shows witty moments of hilarity even when facing danger. Francis also has a complex view of right and wrong. He does not condone killing but will kill to save his own life. During investigations he often approaches to understand the mentality of the murderers and despite condemning their action, Francis often pities when a being is turned into a monster by human actions or the hardness of fate.
In addiction to his deductive investigative skills, Francis often receive help from mysterious dreams that provide direct and/or indirect clues to solve cases. The reason and the origin of these dreams are never clearly explained and remains a mystery for Francis himself.

Review: Spyro Reignited Trilogy
Come on baby, light my fire
There are plenty of things in Britain that aren’t strong. The pound, the economy, my intestinal lining. But one thing that remains rock solid is our apparent nostalgia for the original PlayStation console. The launch of the PS1 was the moment that Britain apparently decided it wasn’t “dorky” to play video games, thanks to trendy marketing tactics by Sony and a lot of demo pods in expensive nightclubs.
As such, games like Crash Bandicoot, PaRappa the Rapper, and other cutesy characters, that your average Terry would have balked at in ’93 as “for little kids”, were now super-cool icons for the late teen/early 20’s market. This nostalgic love runs deep even today, as exemplified by Crash’s domination of the UK Charts for not one, but two summers in a row.
Me, however, I wasn’t sold. I didn’t care much for the glut of 3D platformers that swamped the shelves in the wake of Nintendo’s Super Mario 64. I was all about the punching and the giant spiders and the powerbombs. So, it’s with a bit of sigh that I received my review code for Activision’s Spyro Reignited Trilogy, which compiles three dragon-y adventures from the later years of the PS1. I played the original game way back when, but that has become a fog with time. Y’see, I don’t particularly care for the genre, or the characters, or the starry-eyed nostalgia surrounding Spyro’s brand.
But the smug little bastard put me in my place, that’s for true.
Spyro Reignited Trilogy (PS4 [reviewed] Xbox One) Developer: Toys for Bob Publisher: Activision Released: November 13, 2018 MSRP: $39.99 Activision’s Spyro Reignited Trilogy takes three of the titular dragon’s classic PS1 adventures and bundles them together in one easy-to-swallow, lengthy-to-download package. Reignited features 1998’s Spyro the Dragon, 1999’s Spyro 2: Ripto’s Rage and 2000’s Spyro: Year of the Dragon. Developed from the ground-up by Toys for Bob, Reignited hopes to please Spyro’s dedicated fans, while giving those who missed out previously an opportunity to experience the ’90s adventures with new aesthetics befitting a modern era of gaming.
And what a job they have done in that particular department. Reignited, more that just an upgrade, is a stunning re-imagining of Spyro’s universe. Despite being recreated faithfully in a dimensional sense, every world has been beautifully realised, bursting with luscious colours, strong lighting effects, and with meticulous attention paid to the animation of every single character.
“Character” is the optimal word here, as every creature, friend or foe, is brimming with life in their movement, idle animation, death animation, facial expressions and physical behaviour. The cast of Reignited are depicted with such care that they instill a genuine sense of personality. Every dragon rescued in the original Spyro is a joy to behold, selling their respective attitudes in fun design. smooth animation and a few scant lines of dialogue. The terrain itself – from wide-open fields and dusty valleys, to deep blue oceans and red-skied lava pits – are universally gorgeous. Through strong colours, smart effects and fluid movement, Toys for Bob hasn’t just upgraded Spyro’s universe, it has imbued it with heart to create a (fire) breathing world of fun characters.
youtube
One thing I certainly wasn’t expecting was to get such a kick out of the soundtrack. Blending upbeat, happy-go-lucky tunes with bizarre, almost prog-rock use of bass and organs, the Spyro soundtracks have been re-recorded afresh to match Reignited’s visual facelift. They sound similarly fantastic, save for some odd looping. Dynamic music adds and removes beats dependent on whether yer boy Spyro is standing still, wandering, gliding or dashing, which lends a nice cinematic touch to the action.
For purists, the original soundtrack can be restored via the pause menu, in case you’re looking for that Pavlovian link to your memories. Voice work is solid, although I’ve never really “bought” Spyro’s voice, I don’t think it fits him. Much hilarity was also found in the bizarre gamut of accents in Year of the Dragon, Is that supposed to German? South African? Italian? There’s a lot of flyer miles going on with some of YOTD’s characters.
Speaking of sound, it would be remiss for me not to address the weird omission of subtitles during cut-scenes. This was an issue also raised with the Crash Bandicoot: N. Sane Trilogy. Despite Activision’s terrible attempts to excuse the situation, there’s simply no reason not to include subtitles in a video game in 2018. There’s zero point in the publisher trying to explain it away. Here’s hoping for a possible update in the future, because it’s a baffling design decision. Fortunately, subtitles do appear when speaking to in-game quest-givers.
Of course, none of this aesthetic praise counts for anything if the gameplay doesn’t get your wings flapping. In this regard, Toys for Bob have chosen to play it safe. Reignited attempts to recreate its trilogy to a tee, without making any serious attempts to alter, break or fix too much from the original releases. This is a double-edged sword – a “problem” faced by many retro-remake releases – as it delivers the exact same experience that long-time fans remember, but also doesn’t shake anything up in order to catch up with video gaming advances in the interim.
As such, fans will be stoked with how immediately recognisable Reignited feels, but some newcomers may find its gameplay, particularly in the original Spyro the Dragon, simplistic and dated. Let’s face it, these games are pushing 20 years old now, and their basic “search the world and find all the gems” objectives may come across as bland in an era where we are bombarded with objectives, side-quests and other activities in our 3D adventures.
That said, It must be noted that I personally found it refreshing to play through three games where the map screen wasn’t swamped with icons. More isn’t always more. After a couple of decades of open-worlds where you can’t move for tripping over yet another quest, Reignited is almost therapeutic in its approach to activities. Year of the Dragon is the most creative, requiring Spyro – and various playable pals – to complete “mini-missions” in order to receive items needed to progress. Oh, it also has skateboarding and a “Whoa, dude!” character, because it’s the year 2000 and of course it fucking does.
With these remakes, Toys for Bob has gone above and beyond in audio/visual upgrades, but remained withdrawn in terms of gameplay experimentation. As such, Reignited is the definitive version of the original Spyro trilogy, looking, sounding, and for sure controlling better than ever before. Aesthetically, it isn’t just an upscale, its a reinvention of Spyro, Sheila, Sgt. Byrd and their friends, enemies and universe. A reinvention that’ll leave fans squealing with delight.
By choosing to toe the line, gameplay-wise, Reignited threatens to leave some newcomers – who have been spoiled for choice with hundreds of excellent releases in the last two decades – wondering what all the fuss is about. But, as I said above, I personally found the stripped-back approach to open-world gaming not only relaxing, but refreshing. I guess everything old is new again…
Spyro Reignited Trilogy is a fan’s dream. This heartfelt remake is bursting with colour, character and adventure, even if it has been developed with an cautious approach to reinvention. Though some might find its retro-fused action a little simplistic in this convoluted era of gaming, Spyro has the ability to entertain even the most cynical player with its wonderful worlds, slick design, and ability to spark the flames of nostalgia.

Of note: I’ve played Saturn Bomberman nigh on constantly with a couple close irl friends, and alongside Diddy Kong Racing it remains one of my absolute favourite party games. 10/10 would recommend.
