Yves Kloss - Act 2 Ch. 1

Fan translation only. Not 100% accurate. Please expect grammatical errors. Cybird owns everything. Feel free to re-blog, but please do NOT post my translations elsewhere. Also, feel free to ignore my random commentary. I know this Master List is delayed, but eh, it was my first translation project, and I had no idea of what I was doing.

Please note: Only his common route and Dramatic route are translated/summarized.

After Yves & Em return from visiting a charity facility, they are greeted by the faction leaders Chev & Leon and are told that his majesty has been invited to Obsidian by the first prince to sign a four way alliance. 

This is to prevent the potential threat of the three way alliance that was formed by Tanzanite, Achroite, Ruby (I believe this what it will be translated to in EN). Everyone is skeptical about Obsidian’s true intentions about the four way alliance, but Yves is determined to go. 

That night, he asks for Em to stay behind in Rhodolite because it’s dangerous. Emma objects to this and she convinces Yves to taker her along. 

Soon after, preparations are being made for the departure and all the princes (except Chev), are shown offer some form of help to the couple. Jin & Licht teach Em self-defense to which Yves is happy about. Nokto offers a map of merchants that he has strong ties with along the Obsidian/Rhodolite border, in which, Yves makes a shocked face and says to Nokto: So, you can do smart things sometimes too?! 

Clavis traps Yves in a rope and tells him that because they are bound to find themselves in traps at Obsidian, he should learn how to work his way out of the ropes. Clavis then lists all the other things he’s going to teach him…like picking locks 🔒 👀🤣

Sariel reminds them how to behave accordingly and not to act rashly, and he tells Rio he must stay in Rhodolite. Luke teaches them how to cook with bare minimum since they are in enemy territory and may get stuck in the wild. Yves is delighted that he learned new recipes with nuts 🥜 

Finally, in the carriage scene, Yves’ braid is coming loose. Em offers to braid it again. He asks if she knows how and she protests saying that she’s been practicing. Cuteness ensues when Em is trying to prove to Yves she can do it. They finally share a passionate kiss and then, the fluff grows cold with Yves telling Em he has to tell her something about Gilbert.

Watching the new Percy Jackson episode (ep.5) and I just had to pause for a second to squeal and have a mini freak out over Annabeth dropping the "Seaweed Brain" nickname outta nowhere!!!! It seriously took a hot second to register that Annabeth JUST DROPPED HER NICKNAME FOR PERCY!!!!!!!! AAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!! I. AM. SO. DONE.
