Why yes of course, you know I'm always happy to talk about them!!!

Willex

When I started shipping them: I'm not fully sure to be honest. Probably around the hug the first time I watched the show, which would have been late October-ish of 2020, but I don't think I really got super invested in them until a couple months later. I was unfortunately still in the beginning stages of dealing with the internalized homophobia I grew up around when I watched it for the first time. So it took me a bit to be okay with how much I liked and connected to them.

My thoughts: THEMMMMM<333333333333333 That's it, that's the thought. Okay that's a lie. I've gone on many a rant about how good they are for each other and stuff(one of which I posted here a while back...You do not want to know how much scrolling it took for me to find that.) But like, they're just really good for each other and they make each other happy and they communicate and I just love them, okay?!

What makes me happy about them: The way they take care of each other. Yeah they both screw up, but they both develop this instinct to make sure the other is okay and to help them if they aren't. Think Willie taking them to the club cause he wanted to help, Alex making sure Willie is okay after kidnapping the original opening band in ep 9, ect.

What makes me sad about them: CALEB GETTING IN BETWEEN THEM! It just hurts to see them pushed apart by stupid evil gay jazz hands ghost man >:(

Things done in fanfic that annoys me: When either of them are stripped down to a single personality trait. Like when Alex is just anxious or Willie is just goofy. They're complicated characters with a lot of layers and I hate it when people ignore that.

Things I look for in fanfic: Fluff, good communication, healthy relationships goodness gracious, happy endings?

My wishlist: Still not sure what this is asking, but I would love more goofy dates, good conversations, and yelling in museums for these two.

Who I’d be comfortable with them ending up with, if not each other: Okay, I literally can't imagine a world where these two know each other and aren't in love, but I think I would be okay with Alex ending up with Reggie or Bobby, and Willie I could see with Bobby maybe?

My happily ever after for them: Free from evil ghost magicians, they live together for a good long time. They both become sort of alive, but with the ghost skills still cause stuff. Alex has a great career with the band, Willie tags along and splits their time between hanging out with the band and helping out local LGBTQ+ nonprofits. And reading. Mostly audio books cause focus is hard, but Willie loves to learn. When they're both free, they like to explore the city together, or other cities when they're on tour. They get a long, happy life together.
