my undergraduate university is currently embroiled in a passive-aggressive argument with the local newspaper over something involving enrollment figures, and I have never been so entertained
#the newspaper put out an article basically criticizing them for not publishing their enrollment numbers#they apparently declined to comment but then they immediately published a braggy post about enrollment going up on LinkedIn#I can just imagine the PR boardroom discussions
