There's not really all that much that they do in movieverse; they continue working with the movie ninja to teach them spinjitsu and the like, but the bulk of the introductions happened back in showverse. They're mostly just exploring the city and hanging out with the movie ninja (causing. no end to the rumor mill). If the parents did decide to sue Garmadon then they're just watching in the background with popcorn.
