me, two weeks into owning plants: wow this is such a fun hobby! my plants look great! i don’t get why people say houseplants are hard? :)

me, now: *room full of fungus gnats, one plant dead, two calatheas getting crunchy, aloe vera got freeze damage, maranta leaves looking ugly as shit* .....................nevermind

#so far only the two stromanthe plants and the pink princess are doing good lmao #the aglaonema is oficially dead but i managed to save the roots and part of the stem so i still have hope lol #they all went downhill very fast in a matter of weeks 🙃#i'm trying diatomaceous earth next for the FUCKING FUNGUS GNATS bc they came back stronger than ever #they are EVERYWHERE #thanks to the (now dead) overwatered aglaonema lol rip
