How did every other Jekyll and Hyde adaptation get away with having the same plot and why didnt you guys warn me .
#I still havent seen the 20s silent film so sorry if Im wrong but I think it also has the#'Hyde traps a woman in a abusive relationship' plot the 30s 40s films and the 90s musical ALL HAD#the 30s 40s films and the musical even had like. the same scenes#they all had the scene where Hyde forces The Girl Hes Abusing to sing and they all had the scene of him#telling her hes gonna leave and making her act sad and they all had the scene of her going to Jekyll for help and taking off her#overcoat thing and saying 'pretty aint they?' like#I dont know something about it really bothers me. Like I think they probably kept going with that plot because its Horror and#Whats Scarier Then A Woman Being Abused By A Ugly Man I guess?#At least in the musical they didnt have any time to do face makeup so Hyde's still as attractive as whoevers playing Henry but yeah its-#-strange. My favorite jekyll and hyde movie is still currently Dr Jekyll Sister Hyde.#I hope what Im saying is clear I mean I hate they kept going with this plot because its done very much for shock value#The Lucy Woman always dies.
