I had an amazing recording career with Boogie Down Productions and lost it all. During that time of trying to figure out life, I became the father of an amazing daughter. I had no idea how I would one day send her to college and give her a fair shot at success. God gave me a second chance at success and I haven’t looked back. DJing has been good to me. I treat every gig like it’s my last. I refuse to allow anyone to distract me from accomplishing my goals. I’m extremely humbled by the support I’ve received throughout the years from my family that has to deal with me being on the road for long periods of time, every club owner that took a chance and hired me, every event planner that chose me over a long list of great DJs they had to choose from, and of course, everyone that danced to my music selections. Because of you all, I was able to send my daughter to Spelman. What you are looking at is a pic from her Spelman senior photo shoot. My daughter is about to graduate in May and I must admit that this is by far one of the proudest moments of my life. Ashli, you are an amazing young woman. My daycare provider cooked me some fish with this seasoning on it on Tuesday, it was so oh very so delicious, all I wanted was a reference on how to make it.
