15. Your muse interrupts mine during a relaxing bubble bath

Ashley was having a stressful day, she tried taking a nap to relax, but the fact that it wasn't helping really did bother her. The only option she had left was to take a bubble bath, but did she really have time to do such a thing? Knowing the would have a friend over to catch up on some things. Looking at the time, a smile and a lazy shrug gave away her answer. The blonde woman quickly rushed to the restroom, turning the cool warm water on until it filled up the bathtub, along with that she added a bit of some liquid, that way she could have some Bubbles to just relax in. It wouldn't be for so long, just a while, that's all. Nothing else.No spending hours. Ash quickly stripped down to nothing until she was completely naked, dipping her toe in the water, she let herself drown in the water with complete relaxation. Time flew by, it wasn't that long, but looked like her timing wasn't at all right, the door open, her eyes flew open to see her guest, Adam, standing at the door. The blonde blinks, her face flush with embarrassment. "Oh my God, dude! Adam! Don't you knock!" She grabbed on the edge of the curtain hiding her face."I...I.....really!?"

Missing You || Adam & Maryse

It had been about a week or two since Adam and Maryse had last seen each other, too long in her opinion, which was rather funny seeing as how they'd gone a few years without seeing each other, before. Since the two of them had started spending time together and talking almost every day, it became harder and harder for her not to spend time with him in person, which was why she found herself on a plane to North Carolina. She'd had a crazy weekend doing an appearance in Salt Lake City and she probably should have gone home and rested, but the only thing that mattered to her right now was seeing Adam, and finally meeting Lyric. It was kind of late once her flight finally landed, and she really didn't want Adam to have to come out all late and have to possibly wake Lyric up or anything, so once she had her bags, she got a rental car to make things easier for everyone. She'd gotten the directions to Adam's place earlier, so she typed them into the GPS on the car and made the journey over to Adam's place. She had a smile on her face the entire drive over, just thinking about spending time with the two of them, because she really had missed Adam a lot. And thank god she didn't have anything planned for awhile, so she could at least stay for a few days, maybe longer. Maryse was actually surprised she didn't get lost on the way to his house, seeing as how he literally did live in the mountains, and it was nighttime, but she actually found his house with no problems and once she pulled in the driveway, she decided to send him a text to let him know she was there so she wouldn't wake Lyric up if she was sleeping, by ringing the doorbell or knocking.

[Text]: Hey you! I'm here, right outside actually. I didn't want to risk waking the little one up by ringing the doorbell, so let me in whenever you're ready. Don't make me wait too long though, haha!

Reunited || Adam & Maryse

There were a lot of perks to the "retired" life these days, but the one that Maryse loved the most was that she now had the opportunity to spend time with friends that she hadn't seen in awhile, anytime she wanted. It had been awhile, almost damn near a year, since Maryse and Adam had seen one another, and in her opinion that was far too long seeing as how they used to see one another almost every day. They had a lot of time to make up for, so it was a good thing Adam was also living the retired life now. That way they'd have plenty of time, without any interruptions. Since Maryse was a tad bit anxious to get out of LA for a few days, she'd decided to go and see Adam in North Carolina, figuring it would also be a more peaceful setting for the two of them instead of the craziness that was Los Angeles. She'd just arrived about an hour or so ago and once she'd checked in at her hotel, she sent Adam a quick text letting him know that she was finally there, so he could head over there since they'd decided to meet up at the hotel. While she was waiting on Adam to arrive, Maryse changed into a pair of jeans and red blouse, and put her hair up into a ponytail. She didn't want to make Adam wait for her for too long, and she was kind of anxious to see him at that point, so once she was all changed, she made her way down to the hotel lobby to see if her fellow Canadian had arrived yet.

The amount of respect Layla has for the legend is tremendous. They were not the closest of friends but Adam had such an impact on Layla with his wrestling and charisma, that if it weren't for him, Layla doesn't believe she'd have the will to go on in the business. He was truly an inspiration to her and all.
