All things considered she's never seen one up close , let alone been to a race . The atmosphere is incredibly overwhelming and there's only so much a pair of earplugs can muffle out . Still the fact he's in a small villa rather than a big , crowded city is unusual . Makes you wonder why .

the sudden shift in reverse caused the old man to slide down onto the hood itself, and he clung to it, staring back at the car. as if entirely unfazed by the fact the car was moving - and by the fact, you know, the car is a sentimental being, he simply lets out a laugh in response.

" HEH HEH HEH ! YA CAN'T GET RID OF ME THAT EASY! I'VE DONE THIS BEFORE ! I'M ABOUT AS FLEXIBLE AS ONE O'THEM PRETZELS YA GET AT THE COUNTY FAIR ! "

Nick smirked, being a bit happy to see that the other took an interest towards the fuzzy dice he was selling. He then took the fuzzy dice off the rack, holding it up closer for Chick to take a look at. "This could make a great fashion accessary for ya, ya know?" He offers, his voice coming off polite and kind. He's trying his best to keep in his smug personality.

"Whaddya think?"

OH, GOODIE — it was perhaps one of the few brands of attention that Chick actually made a point to avoid; salespersons. Did Chick really look like such LOW-HANGING fruit to be accosted by STREET peddlers?

— ⚡︎ "LOOK, BUDDY — as far as I'm concerned, if it doesn't have my face on it, it's ALL junk to me." A tire lazily gestured to the display of merchandise. "I MEAN REALLY. Come on — you tell me what use a car's got for a bedazzled back massager."

— ⚡︎ "ACTUALLY, hold up — I'll take a look at those fuzzy dice."

Nick grimaced slightly at the demand coming straight from the man, closing his eyes. His eyebrows were scrunched together, soon opening his eyes to look back up at Chick. "Now, now...hold on a minute, I wasn't responsible for the damage to your tail lights. I was here in the wrong place at the wrong time." He quickly backpedaled, seeming exasperated at having to be the one responsible to pay for the vehicle.

"Although I guess me being the only suspect near your vehicle is a good enough reason for me to pay for some of the damages...or all of it. Depends on how much you'd need." He murmured. He may be willing to pay although he may need a quicker way to get the right amount of money for Chick.

With crossed arms and something a little more extreme than a glower glued to Chick's face, the man flicked his head in the direction of his parked car. NOT THE 86, of course — that wasn't street legal. This was just the car Chick actually USED to get from place-to-place. EXCEPT NOW, one of the taillights had been busted, and Chick stared at who he assumed was the perp.

he extended his hand toward the other and accepted the greeting gesture, with a small smirk playing upon his mustache in amusement. quite a colorful character, he thought to himself. although he is no stranger to interacting with such people. his eyes briefly look him up and down, as he lets go of his hand.

" is that so? i can't say that i've heard of you. but perhaps you can fill me in on your importance, mr hicks. "

he flashes another polite smile at him. he thought to humor him at the very least, and out of his own curiosity as well.

" do you have a preferred drink of choice? "

SEE, here really was a man of taste! Cut from the same cloth, they all were. The mustaches were just a VISUAL CALLING CARD as far as Chick was concerned.

— ⚡︎ "Free alcohol? HAH! — any day of the week!" He lent out a hand to the other, the corner of his own 'stache creeping up in a half smile. "CHICK. Chick Hicks. Piston Cup Racer. Maybe you've heard of me," his eyebrows waggled up and down in unison.

His ego , while inflated could easily be popped with the subject at hand . 'Course her opinion is valued as much as a white crayon in these parts , what most deem as entertainment is boring to her .

If you think about it racing is just adult bumper cars without restrictions . Maybe it's the crowd , airhorns and other instruments to cheer with— one thing's for sure these events are not her cup of tea . Aside from Chick she hasn't found it all that entertaining . Still the amount of peo- vehicles crowding this place is far more than she can handle .

'Course no one mentally prepared her for the fact they could speak , and considering everything else that's happened throughout the day she likely found her way here in a panic .

Even with noise canceling headphones the vibrations from their wind gust could be felt reverberating in her chest . Another oddity that separated her from them . Maybe it's the fact she ventured too far in search of tranquility , but one thing's for sure she definitely felt better .

Truth be told these kind of sports were something the brunette never fully understand . So what , it's just one be circle for these guys to lap around .
