Avengers Tower//Top Floor

“Don’t touch me!” You seethe while ripping your arm from Steve’s grasp, the anger you felt was literally all over your posture, voice, and anything else that was visible to anyone around you.

“Why didn’t you tell us about this?” Steve finally demands.

“Why didn’t I tell you?! Why do you think?! The way you people treat me should be an explanation enough.” You sarcastically reply. “I’ve dealt with more shit than you guys could ever think of, all those nightmares you guys had when you were young? I fight those sons a’ bitches.”

“Why?! Who the hell was that guy downstairs?!” Your father finally yells in anger. 

“Because I’m saving people with my family.” You scoff.

“They aren’t your family.” Your brother shakes his head. “We are.”

“Family don’t end in blood but it don’t start there either. Family cares about you, not what you can do for them. Families are there through the good, bad, all of it. They got your back even when it hurts.” You swiftly reply while curling your lips into a sad smile. “That’s family. Not whatever you guys consider yourselves.”

Everyone stays silent as your words float around the room, each of them knowing that ultimately, you were right.

“Now, I’m going to go see my family and help them not get killed.” You state, balling your fists at your side before turning around to walk back into the elevators. Leaving the Avengers awkwardly standing around in the living room, each looking at each other for some kind of answer.

Press Conference Floor

“Sam? How’s it going?” You call while walking back onto the floor while looking down at the floor, trying to wipe away the tears that were gathering in your eyes.

When you get no reply, you head quickly snaps up to survey the area. Things were even more destroyed than they had been when you left, quickly you pull out your gun and turn off the safety as you look around.

“Sorry Sweetheart, Sammy and Cass are.....gone.” Dean’s cold voice calls into the dark room. “I was gonna follow them too, then I thought why not have some fun?”

“Dean!” You angrily yell. “What the hell is this?!”

“This.” Dean darkly chuckles while appearing in front of you, the Avengers, Cass, and Sam, tied up behind him. 

“Dean.” You warn.

“This Sweetheart, this is revenge and you’re going to be a part of it. Right next to me.”

You open your mouth to protest but everything seems to turn black, the only sound being Dean’s laughter.
