the siren // starter for @behaneul

it's a little crazy now that siwoo thinks about it – that they'll be performing an original song at the christmas charity concert. and in a way, this would be their first introduction to the public. sure, the project green socials are up, but there really isn't much else to it. a blank social media page, and that's about it. this would be the first time the public actually gets to see them. and, he's sure if he scoured the internet enough, it'll be the first time the public will give an opinion of them as a group.

and so he does exactly what he's used to – he wrings himself dry with practice. the song they're covering isn't particularly hard. it's a bright song, but siwoo's received feedback before that his expression shows just how much he ... isn't exactly a bright person. so he'll have to work on that, has to pretend like he'll take the fucking stage over with man in love.

that and the fact that siren isn't a particularly easy song to perform live either. the dance is strenuous and the footwork, not particularly easy. he turns to haneul, and rolls his shoulder back. "the footwork for siren is insane," he finally says, a little out of breath. but haneul's a talented dancer, and siwoo knows this very well. "i can't believe we're performing this in front of everyone at lotte," he smiles, "i'm a little excited."

and Odysseus, built this palace with his very hands, has to step out of the shadows like "are you this fucking stupid"

Sailors would be lured by the beautiful looks and singing voices to cause sailors to wreck their ships along the rocky coast of the Sirens. Half-birds, half-beautiful maidens, the Sirens were singing enchantresses capable of luring passing sailors to their islands, and, subsequently, to their doom. Daughters of the river god the Achelous and a Muse, they were fated to die if anyone should survive their singing. Do you think that the sirens are just another greek folklore or are secretly hiding in the deepest, most hard-to-reach places of the earth?

Plot: Fletcher was taken and has been missing for some time. He was found seriously injured and taken to a hospital. Your muse is the first person he has seen waking up.

Sugguested relationship: friend, partner, family, nurse, doctor

Fletcher didn't know how he'd managed to escape his captors bur he had. He managed to stumble himself away, ignoring the intense pain he was in. He was fighting his body the entire time but the moment he was somewhere there was crowds was when he finally stopped fighting and collapsed to the ground. He'd been rushed straight to a hospital then, even though he usually tried to avoid them at all costs. He was unconscious for a long time as they worked effortlessly to make him stable again.

Fletcher wasn't aware how long he'd been unconscious for when he finally stirred. The first thing he noticed was all the various wires in him, instantly giving him a clue on where he was. Normally, he tried to hide any vulnerability or fear he had. But right now, he was too exhausted and in too much pain to fight it. His eyes settled on the first figure he saw, not quite working out who they were in the moment. "Am I safe?" He managed out. When he didn't get an answer, he asked again. "Am I safe?" He tried to sit up, groaning in pain as hebdid and clearly struggling to do such a simple thing. "Answer me....Am I safe?... I didn't escape not to be."
